About This Class

[NOTE:  Many more videos are going to be added on a regular basis, so be sure to follow me on Skillshare so that you will be notified when new tutorials come out.]

I learned how to use Scrivener in a Scrivener Masterclass, but when I actually began working on a project, I would think "I remember that Scrivener can do such and such, but I can't remember how to do it?  What video was that in?"

This course has short tutorials on how to do a particular task in alphabetical order.  So, you can find what you need quickly.

The short videos showing the steps to do a particular task have no narration, but short written instructions when needed.  They seemed strange without any sound at all, so I added music, but if it annoys you, you can turn the sound down. :)

Each task is repeated 2 to 3 times, so you can see it more than once if you need to without having to manually start it over again.

APPLIES TO:  Scrivener 3 for Windows and Mac

Scrivener 3 for Mac came out in November of 2017 and Scrivener 3 for Windows is coming out soon.  These videos apply to both the Mac and Windows versions unless otherwise indicated.  Most of the videos were recorded in Scrivener 3 for Mac, but everything is in the same place and the same icons are used in both.  Occasionally, because of Mac and PC platform differences, a task has to be done slightly different in each, in that case both the Mac and PC version will be recorded separately.

Are you a Scrivener for Windows user and feeling left out?

If you have Scrivener for Windows, you may want to download the Scrivener 3 for Windows Beta version.  It still has a few things missing and certain things aren't working exactly the way they will be, but everything you are learning in this course is available in the Beta version. Click on the link to go to the Scrivener 3 for Windows Beta Version download page.

Scrivener 3 for Mac was released in November of 2017, but Scrivener 3 for Windows is on its way.  It is currently in Beta and could be released by the end of 2018 or early 2019.  All of my Scrivener courses are created via Screencasts in the Mac version of Scrivener 3, but from what I have seen in the Beta version, the Windows version is at least (maybe more than) 95 percent identical to the Mac version.  Where there are differences, I will be including screencast tutorials in ...
