About This Class

[NOTE:  Many more videos are going to be added on a regular basis, so be sure to follow me on Skillshare so that you will be notified when new tutorials come out.]

I learned how to use Scrivener in a Scrivener Masterclass, but when I actually began working on a project, I would think "I remember that Scrivener can do such and such, but I can't remember how to do it?  What video was that in?"

This course has short tutorials on how to do a particular task in alphabetical order.  So, you can find what you need quickly.

The short videos showing the steps to do a particular task have no narration, but short written instructions when needed.  They seemed strange without any sound at all, so I added music, but if it annoys you, you can turn the sound down. :)

Each task is repeated 2 to 3 times, so you can see it more than once if you need to without having to manually start it over again.

APPLIES TO:  Scrivener 3 for Mac

Great News! Scrivener 3 for Windows 3.0 was released yesterday (March 22, 2021).  To purchase or upgrade go here.  If you have purchased the original Windows version recently, you will be able to upgrade for free.  If you've had the original Windows version for a long time, you will be able to upgrade for a discount.

Scrivener 3 for Windows is very similar to Scrivener 3 for Mac.  So, most of my Scrivener classes will be applicable to the new Windows version.  After you upgrade to the new version, be sure to check out my classes.

1. How this class works: Have you ever taken a masterclass on a new software you were trying to learn? But when you started to use it, you thought I remember that it could do such and such, but I can't remember how to do it. What video was that in? I had the same problem when I first learned how to use scrivener. So in this course, I've made it easier for you. Define what you need quickly, so you don't have to waste time searching for it. The tutorials on how to do a particular task are listed in alphabetical order. Each video shows you the steps without any narration when necessary. Short written instructions are included. The videos felt kind of strange to me without any sound at all. So I added music. But if it annoys you, you can always turn it down. Each task is repeated 2 to 3 times, so that you can see it more than once if you need to, without having to manually start it over again. These videos apply to Scrivener three for both Windows and Mac scrivener. Three for Mac came out in November of 2017. Scrivener three for Windows is currently in beta and should be coming out soon. Most of the videos were recorded in Scripture three for Mech, but everything is in the same place and the same icons air used in both. Occasionally because of the Mac and PC platform differences, a task has to be done slightly different in each. In that case, both the Mac and PC versions will be recorded separately, and the title will indicate Mac or PC. So pick out the tutorial for the task you want to learn first, or you can just start with the 1st 1 in the list and follow in alphabetical order. 2. BACKUP: Choose Backup Folder: 3.
