Project Description

40471a56

Explore the possibilities of your scrap stash to make an easy raw-edge applique kantha-stitched collage!

  • sort through your scrap pile for a range of colors and patterns- especially pull out those pieces that have unusual shapes, or that are really too small to use for another project.
  • Lay out your composition- will you make a scene? or an abstract arrangement?
  • Share your progress at each step: What does YOUR scrap stash look like? What compositions are you playing with?
  • What will you make with your appliqued collage? Will it go on the wall or become something functional?
