About This Class

For most job hunters, salary negotiation if it isn't a "taboo" subject it is certainly one that keeps them up at night with worry and dread.

"What if I say the wrong thing?"

"I don't want to blow it  and lose this job."

"What will they do if I say the wrong thing?"

I worked in search for more than 40 years and filled more than 1200 full time positions plus consulting assignments during my career and now I help coach people at many levels into new roles.

This class will teach you different types of negotiating tactics that I have used to help others. Most of the individual videos will explain how to help you avoid giving away too much too early while you are interviewing. Then we get to tactics.

I have 2 extremely easy techniques and plus a tougher one.

Pick what you are able to do and forget the ones you can't and don't criticize yourself if you can't execute one you think you should.

Practice will help you get better. Practice will help you recognize when they are trying to manipulate you into doing something that is not in your interest.

I also want you to know that this class has a few lessons geared to locations where laws still permit employers to ask what your current salary is . . . however most of this class applies to anywhere in the world.

Very helpful info. However, the audio levels and video quality were quite variable and a little distracting.
