Project Description

SKETCH YOUR DREAM STUDIO

We'll create a sketch (model, drawing, collage, or prototype, blueprint) for your new dream studio or home. No special skills are required. Use whatever skills you have to bring to bear on the project. As we work through each section, you will add new information to your dream studio vision. Through video explorations of a possible Northeast location, information about materials, structures, scale, sustainability, and even taxes on your dwelling, you will decide what kind of structure you want to build and how each of your decisions adds your personal vision to your dwelling. Each time you complete a section, please upload your findings to the Skillshare project gallery.

DELIVERABLES:

A final project will include a description of:

- Location

- Materials

- Lookbook or Collage

- Sketches of your dream studio!

By the end of the course, you'll have a good working knowledge of how to create the studio you dream about and a sketch to get you started building or renovating. Please remember to share your knowledge with others in the course. Your classmates will be some of your best contacts for this and other projects.
