Love the idea of making your own beaded jewelry?

Learn to make the simple, but very pretty, beaded necklace that I call the Swirls Necklace. This project is great for beginners and those who are new to Right Angle Weave (RAW) bead-weaving stitch.

Skill level: All skill levels


  • 6mm round beads (I used glass pearls)
  • 4mm round beads (I used glass pearls)
  • Size 11 seed beads
  • A clasp
  • 1 size 10 beading needle
  • Beading thread
  • Bead mat
  • Sharp scissors or thread burner
