About This Class

If you are a beginner/intermediate in acrylics and want to learn some realistic portrait painting Then, this class is perfect for you!

This my first bird painting; you will learn how to create realistic bird paintings using acrylic/oil/poster/gouache medium at different stages.

We will use simple steps and tools so that class is simple and easy for you to understand. I've tried something different, hope you will like it.

2: How to draw a sketch using the grid method

1. Introduction: What are the most incredible creature? Seeing them every day, singing from my window just makes my day. Hello friends. My name is Maureen listener, and I am an acrylic artist. And I hope you all are doing well. So this time, I have brought something new about from landscape painting. You must have seen I mostly draw landscape painting, but this time I have painted something new that the board building. So in this class, we'll be learning model materials which we'll be meeting for the complete painting. And some brush techniques which we'll be using. Great mentor sketching to make a realistic sketch. Blocking the background. Complete for the dealing. Then how to create realistic branches. And lastly the detailing of defer using lead technique. And finally, our masterpieces ready? So these are some of my paintings which I have done recently. So one of them, which I'll be teaching you. So let's start with it. 2. Materials Required: Hello friends, welcome back. So let's discuss about the materials. So this is the sheet which we'll be using. It is 450 GSM, 100 percent cotton press paper, which is also used for watercolor. And this is from Syria brand. And this is quite rough sheet which I'm using and quite take this five and 27 inches. And these are the brushes which I'll be showing you in detail. And the color brands which I will be using, your liquidity and Winsor and Newton acrylics and the masking tape, one-inch tissue paper. And the water container. It has fine ridges so that Drudge can clean off very nicely and do other containers. And this is the ballot. And apart from that, benzyl rubble and scale for drawing the sketch. So let's start. 3. Brush Techniques: Hello friends. Welcome back. So let's discuss about the colors which we'll be using. So for the background will be using the colors that are sap green, lemon, yellow, ivory black. And for the body part, that is for the whole body structure which we'll be using your rumble. Aqua green, surrealism, blue, white, cadmium yellow, crimson, red. And I read and charcoal black, both of them. And for the branches will be using sap green rhombus, wide and charcoal DHAP. So these other colors, sap green row, umbo, aqua green, charcoal white, lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, crimson, red, ivory black, and chocolate black. So these are the colors which we'll be using. Now let's talk about the brushes and the techniques, how we will be using those brushes. This is a flat brush which we'll be using for background. This is the dagger brush and blender brush from Princeton. This is the liner brush. And this is the tree texture brush, flat brush, and another liner brush of size 0. So let's discuss about the thus techniques which we'll be using here for the diode painting. So first is the flat brush and how we will do the blending part. I will show you your for the background like two colors I have mixture. So now what we'll do is after applying two colors, will take the blender brush and just wet the brush does not completely dry, but just slightly wherein. Just try to blend both the colors so that it mixes properly and there are no sharp lines in there. So does blushes, very nice for doing the blending part. So now gums, the tree texture brush does very hard bristle brush, which gives a very nice fine texture. Just applying the tip of it and creating small, small dots and create a very nice texture to the branches and do the trees or as well. So you can see this fine small, small dots. And this is the dagger brush, which is very nice for creating false in animals or in birds. So you just need to put a small amount of color and just need to use that dip and create those textures. With grids are very nice and unique texture to the animals and birds. And the layering technique where you can use another color over there. So one color behind and another color on top of it. So this is the layering technique which we'll be using in this course, especially for the feathers. And this is the liner brush. So this we'll be using for creating fine lines. So this is now the dry brush, but we'll be using liquid form of color so that the lines are completely straight. And when you are applying TIN lines, you have to press the brush very lightly. And then you need broader lines. You have to apply the brush little harder. So this is the difference of applying the brush with your hand. So here you can see how nice, fine lines that is creating. It's very nice for creating firsts, layered texture on the top of it. So you can see I have just applied the layers and now I'm doing the textures on the top of that, just small lines. So does technique we'll be using for the feathers. So for this painting background will be using this technique blender, then this technique for the force and for the branches, this tree texture technique. So let's start with it. 4. Sketching GridMethod: Hello friends. Welcome back. So let's start with the sketching technique. I'll be using your grid method for sketching. And I have just applied masking tape all over the edges. So let's first divide into grid method. So this is almost six inches. So I'll divide into 11 inch. So it will create almost six blocks. Same thing I'm doing, 1111 inch. And here it is. And I'll just join that line. And finally we will join it. So this method is very nice for creating any sketch you want. And a very good technique of learning sketch. If you want to draw an important trait or anything, this is the best way you can do sketching. I've created the blocks. So now we'll draw the sketch. So if you don't want to draw the sketch, I'll also attach these sketch reference in the reference photo so you can collect it from there. And you can just trace it and you can just draw it on your notebook. So I will first start with the branches. So this is the fourth block from there, I'm starting the branches in between. I have left to that area because of their board will be settings where I've just left that area. And there are some leafy structures which are present on the tree and some branches. So I'm just creating that shape. So now let's start with the board structure. So we'll start with the head portion. So from the third column and second row, I'll be creating the head of the bird. So you can see how it does easy to create blogs and then to follow the drawing technique and the body, which is on the branches. So this is a very good practice if you want to learn any sketching and drawing the rough sketch of any portrait or animals. You can see like here, I'm drawing on a small sheet of paper, but same technique you can use for big canvases. Then you are drawing structures. And you'll find it really easy to draw the structures of any portraits. You just have to follow one block at a time. And you can also zoom in that block and create with dual same size of that. Whatever you have a paypal or of the images in the fall, you have to just create the blogs. And if this block is of one centimeter, then nucleate, then you just expand that block to one centimeter and just create the diagram and you will find it very easy to draw any sketch. So finally, the shape of the boarders coming. If required, while painting, we can always do editing part. That is not an issue, but a rough sketch is necessary for creating any portraits. So if will follow each and every step like how I'm creating, you can also create a very beautiful portrait by yourself. So you just need to follow the techniques and how I'm creating it. So almost the structure is complete. Now the little bit of detailing is required. A gel create just the linings. We'd have to put those different different colors. I'm just drawing those lines. Like the above color is different and the lower part is different. So I'm I'll be dividing those areas into blocks so that I'll find it easy for me when I'll be painting the whole board. So you can see bones, beaks are very important. You have to be very accurate in that. Otherwise the whole beauty will disappear. So that is the main part and the eyes is the main part. 2 until unless you are satisfied that okay, it's fine and it's very sharp. So just try and do the editing as much as you can so that it reads really perfect and it's really sharp. So here is a slight bend on the top of the beak. So I will just creating that effect. Now the drawing the feathers, just outlining the feathers. So how the feathers will be coming out. So just the rough outline I can always do editing when I painted. So just the rough outline so that my painting becomes easy. So this is almost done. 5. Blocking The Background: Hello friends, welcome back. So finally, the first bar that is a scheduling is done. Now we will do the blocking. So these are the colors. This is lemon yellow, sap green to Daniel, White and ivory black. And these are the brushes which we'll be using for doing the background. So let's start with it. So first we'll be using this flat big brush for covering the background. Just to wet my brush. And just wet my brush and taking sap green, lemon, yellow, and white mix. Take take amount of colors so that you can apply it and blend it when required. Because when you apply it, take amount of color. The color in acrylics does not dry quickly and you can easily blend the colors. So applied ticks colors and very less amount of water do it. Because if you apply more amount of water, the whole texture of that color will disappear. So just very 20 percent of water, nor even 20 percent, 10 percent of water and more of color. So that it's viscosity remains as it is. So you can see how I take my galleries and when I blended, it remained me easy for blending technique. So apply tick colors on the background part. Then only a nice mood background texture will be created. So for creating nice and very smooth texture, background texture, you need to apply 23 ports of the background. So this is the first code which I am doing. But that also apply another quote toward, but before that, the area of edges near to that board, It's a bit dark. And I've just applied a little bit of ivory black also. Do it. Just be very careful so that you does not the color does not according to that line area. If somehow it does, inside that, it's fine because integral x we can always do overlapping layering technique. So it's fine. That is not an issue. And I've just taken the smaller brush, smaller flat brush, and I'm just covering those area which is near to that board structure. So that that Sketch with jazz created does not get through and I'm just creating a nice blend to it. I haven't blended yet the colors. I have just applied the colors. And you can see that it is already wet because I have only applied colors and very less amount of water to it. So I'm just trying to cover the entire area which is left to out. And whenever you feel like your colors are getting dried-up, just use a small bit of water to it. That's it. And deep on blending with your flat brush. Whenever you see that there are lines coming up. So again, taking little bit of black and just putting in the area where does left out because the gallows, which are near to the borders little dark. So that's why I have added little bit of ivory black to it. I have not used charcoal black and instead of dad, I have used ivory black because it does not as dark as the charcoal black. So it does little bit of transparent color. When you apply it. If you don't have ivory black, it's perfectly fine. You can use any black, you whatever you have, but make sure that you don't use much of it. And these are some of my favorite colors, which I also use for landscape painting. So these colors are must when I use, when I create any Landscape, any like 3D structure, I use these colors very often. You can see in my paintings, I have almost 13 classes on Skillshare, which you can see. Now let's start with the blending. So I've just wet my brush just almost dry. It's not completely vetted. I'm just trying to blend that color. You can see how nicely that blender is walking. And I'm just trying to remove all the lines which are visible, like brushstrokes which are visible. And I'm just a blank little bit darker areas to the corners and just trying to blend it. So this blending is almost done. Now. Few areas we just did there which needs to be blended, like near the border area. So maybe I'll use another blender brush which is of smaller size. And I'll use the same technique. Just apply on D. So you can see the color is getting dried. So I will just apply that to red so that it keeps on blending. So you have to make sure that there are no more finely lines or brushstrokes left when you're doing the background part. So does background is almost complete. So one quote is almost done. We might be doing another one quote. But let's see. 6. Blocking Branches: Hello friends, welcome back. So now we have done the deep background part. So now we'll be starting with the branches. So before that I had introduced to some colors which I've added deiodinases bond, Dumbo. And this is black. And this is a really blue and aqua green, which I've added here, the colors. Now let's start with the branches and then we recover the area. So first, let's discuss what brush we'll be using. This is the flat brush and dagger brush and liner brush. These brushes I'll be using for the branches as well as for the area. So first, let's do the branches. But this flat brush. So let's take first the gallows. So this is bond number and a little bit of black and more amount of white because this quite light color. So I've just added more amount of light and less of bond on board and black. And I'll just cover that area. So here also you can see I've used very little amount of color, sorry, very little amount of water and more amount of color do it. So here also I have to give a shade lighter wash into Docker version because the above part of the branch is light and as we go down, it becomes little bit dark. So I'm just blocking that area. So just enjoy the process of blocking is just the symbol blocking which I'm using here. There's no other technique applied away. But after blocking, I'll be used that shadowing effect. So now the next area of the branches, I will be covering with same color. The brand. Because the upper body is dark and the lower part is little, sorry, the upper body is light and the lower BOD is let him darker version. So I am applying little black to it to give that effect. And I have just blended because the color was not dry. Because I've used take amount of code in this. So you have to use take amount of color to do proper blending to it. That is very important in doing these paintings. So this is, the blocking is almost done. We'll now move to the next spot. 7. Blocking the Bird: Hello friends, welcome back. So now we will do the background. So let's start. So this is my flat brush which I'll be using to block the board. So aqua green and little bit of white. I'm just mixing it. Sliding mode of white because I don't want color to be very bright. So I'm just adding little bit of values to it. So I'm just covering the area which is in the upper part. So slowly covered the edges. That's why I'm using a flat brush because when you're using flat brushes, easy to cover the edges. So I'm just covering that area which I have marked with my pencil. So this is just the blocking which I'm doing here. I'm not creating any details or any such thing. I'm just blocking the white area which is left out, and also creating the shapes if required. So now covering the lower belly portion. And i'm I'm also trying to give the shape to debug. So in acrylics, this is one of the advantage that if you have done anything wrong or by mistake, the colors have come out. You can always do overlapping of this that is glaring. And when you are doing layerings, make sure that the color which I have used earlier, it's completely dry then only you can let the colors easily and they should not be any water for it. So I've just covered the upper neck area and the belly area. Just trying to give shape to the outer band. Now taking black and just covering the head, which is completely black. This is black, which I am using. I have little bit of aqua green on my brush as well. And adding little bit of burnt umber do it because it does not completely black. Added into metal bond on board and just giving the shape to the head area. So if you are finding flat brush difficult, you can also use your round brush. Here. I'm using the smallest size flat brush. So it's okay for me. But if you find it difficult using flat brush, you can use a round brush also for this. But make sure that the lines which are at the depth should be nice. But you can see for the eyes area, I have used my liner brush because it's very a minute. Areas I want don't want to mess it up. So I have used the liner brush to complete area around that. I also add the beak. So you can see I'm just about to complete that head portion. So here I'm not using charcoal black because it's very dark and I don't want it to be so dark. So that's why I have used their ivory black and raw umber. If you don't have ivory black, you can use charcoal black, but use very little of charcoal black and more of bond amber. Just make sure. I'm just trying to create. Schedules. So I am just said there. So after covering the lower body, now we will do the upper federal pot. So now I'll take aqua green and mix to the same color. Because I want that color to be a little darker version. And I'll add little black to it so that it becomes really dark, greenish color. And I'll just cover those feathers. So now you can see that sketching is so important. Because when we are doing the sketching, we know which color to use and which portion. So that's why in the upper portion which I have created, I'm just using that darker color because I know that the feathers are little dark in color. So here I'm using a liner brush, but you can use flat brush because liner brush takes time to cover the whole area. So of course you can use a flat brush for this. So just creating that same color. And now I'm using flat brushes because we're taking a lot of time to cover that small portion. So it's BED. Do you use the flat brush and adding the deal? Why do it too? Don't know the color and just filling that lower federal area so that it gives different contrast to those feathers. So finally, federal area is almost done. So you can see by just adding, just added. So I'm finding little bit difficult to use my flat brush. So I'll be using the liner brush. Make my job easy for creating the details. So now what I'm doing is I'm just trying to make the feather shape and just taking a little bit of surrealism, blue and black and white, and mixing it separately. So for creating that, most compete. 8. Eye Detailing: Hello friends, welcome back. So finally, background part is complete. Now, I just forgot to create that foot and doff the board. I'm just creating a rough sketch with my pencil. So you can create it before that if you are only watching that video. I just slipped from my mind and I'm forgot to create those for them too. So I'm just creating that shape. So after that we'll do the iPod. So the board is that change in such a position that only one leg is visible? Swam just creating one. I'm using. My liner brush a little bit. Outer is reddish and inside pupil is black. You can see is the most important part of the painting. I has to be very expressive and it has to be very accurate. So make sure that you are using the liner brush. Then only you will be able to create the details. You can see I'm using the brush which is of size, color on your brush. Painting. Then you are doing. So just outlining the 10 I'm using. Small, small. And I'm not quite happy with that because it does regulate has to be in proper circle. So I'll just remove it and again, I'll put black on the top of it because it's not coming as expected. So I do again that part 4, but first I'll just cover that black area, sorry, that white area with my black color. Just giving the shape and I'll wait for it to dry so that I can do the next detailing. 9. Creating First Layer Of Fur: Hello friends. Welcome back. So now let's start with the final part. So here I'm using white and a little bit of black. And this is my dagger brush which I'll be using for painting differ. So just take little amount of color, not much. It should not be overloaded with colors, otherwise, it may hamper the strokes. So date very little amount of color only at the tip of the stroke and just move it in horizontal direction. I'm just using the tip of the brush to create those lines, which I'll be covering everywhere. So this is our first layer of the painting. We will be doing two to three layers of painting that a layer technique which we'll be using for painting. So as we go down the direction, that will change automatically. So you can see the tip of the brush of so you can see that the direction of the lines are very important. So as we go down, the lines are again slanted to the left direction. So as we move down as the body. So we tried to draw the lines as the body Cove. So the body is curved at the lower end. So in that direction only we will be moving that brush. So you need to be really very careful while doing this. Now we will do this middle part. So here again, I've taken little bit of white and see green color. And again, I'm just overlapping on the top of that lines which I have created. Coming when Dumbo mix. And this color has to be very fluid when you are drawing any lines or any detailing you are doing. If the flow is taking you not be able to create fine lines. So in this case, you have to add little more amount of water to it to create fine lines. So I'm just creating and drawing the feathers which I did with my pencil earlier when I was doing the sketching part. Enjoy. Let's start. 10. Creating second Fur Layer : Hello friends, welcome back. So now we'll do the next part of the detailing. So for differ, I'll use the lighter version of the same color. So I've just taken white and a little bit of green. And again, I'm doing the same technique and I'm just overlapping the colors. But the areas just overlapping in the areas where that aqua green color is left. Can see I'm just staying very little amount of color and I'm just creating the lines, very fine lines. So according to the shape of the body, I'm trying to create for. So one side of the body. Amount of fine lines done. It's dry also because acrylics dry very fast. So I'll use this brush for creating the upper shape. So I've just taken a little bit of water and black and bond on board. And I will try to create that U-shape. Very less amount of color you need so that the areas where to shop and some just trying to clear, but I'm not sure whether it will work or not. So since this picture, those little small, so I don't think this will work. But if it is a big bending, you can definitely try using this brush. It will create a very nice effect for real effect on the board or any portrayed you're making. I think I'll use now the liner brush for this because I'm not really satisfied with their data. It's not really clear. You can see I'm using again the liner brush and creating same half circle, very small, small half circles where that black and just aqua green portion is meeting. So the oppose harpsichords as small and as we go down the so-called size increases. So it requires a lot of patients when you're doing something in detail. And especially when you are having a small canvas or doing small painting, then you have to be really careful while doing the details because in nodule paintings, you can easily create details. But in smaller paintings, it requires more effort and more dime. So if you'll try this on a big painting, you'll find it easy. But when you are doing it on a small one, so it's really very difficult and you have to be really very accurate in this. So I'm just outlining the outer radius. So that portion is also quite dark. So I'm just darkening on a two bit so that it is quite clear. And just outlining the lines, making it more visible and more clear. And going down. The same line tells trying to take more color on my brush. Just create more details to that lions. Because that portion is quite doc. It's quite too visible. So I'm just thickening that line little bit more just to create circles on both portion. Small, small circles. So now I'll take little bit of white because that portion which is at the chin, is having more awful aqua green color. So first what I'll do is I'll just create the shape of it and then I'll try to fill in. I'm just creating that shape. And then I'll take just aqua green and I'll just painted. So this is that overlapping technique which I was telling which we can easily do in acrylics. 11. Detailing of Lower Feathers: Hello friends. Welcome back. So now let's do further. And this is dried completely. So again, I'll just create more detailing. Again, I'm using the same color and just highlighting the same area which I did initially. Because as I already said that I should be perfect. So I'm just trying to make it as perfect as possible. So now again, taking very little amount and just creating small, small dots, three to as trying to create more fine dots. So now that I've done, so now this is drying. So now we'll start with this lower federal area, above areas done. So we'll start with the lower one. So I'm using my flat brush and small size and just mixing black, green because I don't want it to completely black. And this is ivory black, as I said. I'm just highlighting that area. Just the lines. I'm just highlighting it. So you can see I've just makes little bit of green. That is Sap green. And I'm just highlighting the lines which I created earlier. And after that we'll create small, small lines for further detailing. So adding small lines in the lower portion also, because that area is green, 240 dealing actually takes a lot of time and effort to create the exact details. So it requires a lot of mixing and dealing. So it takes time. So now I've just taken sap green and a little bit of white. And I'll just highlight those areas that lines on those lines only I'm creating small, small lines. So this is very fine line brush size. So you can see I'm just creating small, very tiny sharp lines. For this technique. You can also use Guam brush, but this is very small, so I'm trying to avoid using the brush instead of that, I am using this fine line brush so that I can create the shapes more accurately. But I'll definitely use compression. I'll show you how it works. Using the white. I'm just creating very tiny, tiny lines. So I'm creating a mix. So this is almost done with this one. I'll show you how the brush, how you can use gum brush and grid seem fine lines with it. Because this liner brush takes a longer time. But when you are using this brush, it might reduce your time. So you can see the tip. I'm just creating those lines. So it's so simple when you're using this Kwame brush. So this is the best technique of using one brush. You can always create fine lines and make sure that those columns are separated. It's not mixed up and not a lot of colors are on that brush. Otherwise that effect will not come up. So you have to just take very little amount of color, create those lines. Same technique I'm using for the lower portion of the federal makes two bonds number and white color. And I'm just creating same technique since there is less space. So I'm just creating dots of the feathers, not creating the lines. Now once this is done, this is almost done. So we have to create the lines with that black portion. So I'll use my flat brush and a little bit of aqua green and white. And I'll create straight lines with the tip of the brush. So you can see how those lines are coming when you're using the tip of the brush. So this is, it. 12. Second Layer Background Coating: Hello friends. Welcome back. So let's first start with the background again. Just the last quote. I'll do it. So I'm using my blender brush and I'm just bed my brush and removing excess of water and using sap green and lemon yellow and a little bit of white. Same color which we have used earlier. And I'm just applying one more quote over this. So there are no brush marks or strokes left. So you can see the area which is near the board is dark. And the just file, it's bit lighter version. So for lighter version I'm adding lemon yellow and for darker version I'm adding I really black. So I'm just moving the brush in circular motion and just filling those areas. Mixing. So this is so now we will do, we'll take a liner brush and take some black. And we'll do the tail part. So just outlining the outer area, just giving it a shape. So the deal is smaller than just broadening a little bit more. And I'll just fill the same color which I have used it earlier. So now with a brush, I'm just giving it a shape like a so-called shape. Just outlining it and giving a circular shape to it. Just round from below. Why? So why does quite bright? So I'll add just aqua green mix, little dealings. And also to the meeting. I'm just creating small, small lines. Now, head and tail. And I'll just outline the area. Just outlining it. It's not completely white. You can see it's little bit. So I'm just outlining the shape of the bone. And after outlining am creating small, small meadows. It's a small, small lines which are coming out. For the LBD pitting, same technique. Dots switch to fill that dread inside. So you can see now it's more. So this is the layer which we are using. And of course black for the pupil. Just create small, small dots outside the circle. Just very small, small dots. And now for the beak, I'm just taking little bit off. Little bit of blue that is really in blue. So it's like bluish gray color. And I'm just offering the above area of the tweet. And now just try to use a smaller brush, smaller liner brush so that the D dealings comes profit. So this is the mean. The beak and the eyes are the main part of the board and it has to be and media has to be pointed. So make sure that you use thin liner brush. Just adding little bit of lemon yellow to the corners does not completely bit of lemon yellow touch to it. Now, same black color in fluid form. And I'm just giving an outline to the neck area. Highlights. Just creating very small, small lines on the face part. Can see in fluid. This is done. 13. Detailing Foot and Head: Hello friends, welcome back. So now let's do some detailing to IE because that black part is not too visible complete leaves, I'm just darkening it a bit with my charcoal black, just giving shape to the pupil. Now it looks quite good. The black part is visible. So now same brush that does the liner, smallest size brush. And we'll take in fluid form and will create small, small, small, small lines. Very fine lines. These are very small and fine lines depending on the shape of the head. So we create lines according to the shape. So if that shape is downward, then the lines will be downward. And if the shape of the head is upward, then the lines will be also upward. Now taking little bit of ivory black and mixing it with white to create a grayish color. And just, I'm just small, small lines in between the whites also, to create the shadow. And I will be using white. And black is already dead and the brush, so it's fine. So not add white to white and blue, just create a small straight line. So before doing this branch, but for us we'll do the foot, the foot of the borders left so forth. We'll do this and then we'll do the tree branches. So I'm just taking little bit of black and white and I'll just fill in the area. So I'm just filling in this middle bit more of black on black and I'll just highlight, outline that foot. And again, taking more of black and creating those nails with complete up to that little bit of white. And just highlight that area which joins that body. And just creating small, small horizontal lines on the leg to just horizontal and vertical lines. So this leg part is done. 14. Detailing Branches: Hello friends, welcome back. So now we will be doing the branch detailing. So we have already block in the color. So here I'm using three texture brush and the mixing little bit of black and sap green. And I'm just creating small, small dots. As you can see, I'm just pressing and pressing the brush. I'm just holding the brush very lightly and just creating this random dots. If you don't have the street extra brush, you can always use flat bristle brush, any hard brush which create this effect. So you can see how nicely this effect is coming. So it creates a little bit of nice texture to that tree or any branches if you are creating. In the lower portion, I have added more of green and I'll just mix little bit of yellow. And to the areas which has branches which are coming out and just adding little bit of white to it. And creating same technique. So you can see it creates such a realistic look to the branch as if there are lots of leaves and leaves coming out of the branches. Now I'll take a little bit of white to white and just creating texture to that area. So first I have created dark layer, then the lighter one, and then an underlaid. So there are three layers of detailing which I have put there. And now with my flat brush, I'm just highlighting the above area. Just moving the brush in the downward direction. Now I'll use my liner brush and I'll take black color to just give an outline to the branches. So whenever you are doing any outline, make sure that the color is a little bit fluid. Otherwise, it will go the lines will break. So bad day you add a little bit of water to it and create little bit fluid. And then try to detail the boundary or any branches or any detailing you are doing. The color has to be in a liquid form. So finally the outlining is done. So almost the outlining has, is complete. Now I'll use white and outline below the black line. It gives effect like the tree is in 3D forms. So when you add white to the black outline, it gives a 3D effect. So adding little details to the lower branches, which are coming. Just dots, random dots I'm creating. And again, taking my texture brush and adding little bit of lemon yellow to the same mixture. And just filling in to that branch, which is below on the top of a dollar. And branch is now finally complete. So now let's begin with the next part. 15. Second Last final Detailing: Hello friends, welcome back. So now in this part we'll be doing the beak detailing. We have already blocking the color. Now what we will be doing is we'll be taking our charcoal black and with the same liner brush will be just creating the outline. And just look a little small lines and giving shape to the area with just joining the beak. And I'm just outlining the area above that as one knows. Mitch, I'm creating this horizontal line and just giving shape to that peak. With this black color. It should be pointed. Just highlighting that be giving little details to that. Yellow, black and outlining. There I can see some white portions. I'm just covering it with that same green color and just outlining that beat. So again taking white and just highlighting the middle. But again taking little bit of black. And I like doing it to take little bit of water and make it fluid and then tried to create the outline. Then only you will be able to create sharp lines. So this is the most important part of the board. When you, when you appending any bird or any portrayed, the Mount and the eyes should be perfect. Today and creating little bit wide at the tip of it. So now again, taking black and white mix and again I'm using my dagger brush and just creating lines. Same technique I'm using 12 layers have already done. So this is the Toyota and the final detailing which I'm doing here. And again, I'm adding aqua green and white and creating more lines. More. You do the lettering part. The more realistic, the far looks. Small painting, so we need to be more careful. But when you are doing bigger painting, you'll find it creating more easy. By this technique. Now I'm using my liner brush, small size, and just taking black and creating the outline of the outer area of the body. Just creating the outline. Hi. With the same color and a little bit of white to the area which is joining the Fed those and the lower side out to the APOE head portion. I'm just creating some half circles. And then I'll just add little bit of water to this color. And I'll create small, small lines so that it covers that portion. Since this color has dried up. So I'll be taking more of color and using my biggest size liner brush. And just creating small, small lines over it. A little more of white. And removing excess of color and creating small lanes. Just defined LD dealings we are doing here. Lake someday there are more of white somewhere. There's dark feathers so that differentiate, so faders which board has. So I'm just trying to do that. So there are some grayish feathers which are coming out. So I'm just creating some lines which are like a block. So as we're going down, the area is more bluish, the feathers, we'll do a little bit more bluish. So now what we'll do is we'll add little bit of blue to that aqua green. So make it fluid and then add blue to the green and creates more lanes because the tail portion has little bit of blue or bluish texture to it and a little bit of white so that it looks realistic. Just adding little bit of white lines to the areas which I have drawn with black. Just less small, small lines which I'm clear. So on the above I'm just highlighting that black portion that divide 1 and creating same feather U-shaped structure. The lines, just adding text and creating small, small lines to the upper part. So now to the law, federal pod allied little bit of bond, Dumbo and black. And just mix it properly. And I'll just cover the lower portion. So I'll add mode of plaque. And we'll just cover the entire lower federal area. After that, I'll just take one black and just outline the outer and the middle portion and the lines which were joining. So now I'll take little bit of white and fluid form and just highlight the area. Just taking little fluid form and just highlighting that area. Does giving shape like a U-shape to the Federal to almost done one staking little bit more of a grayish color and just outlining the outer area. D dealing takes quite a lot of time to make it perfect. And there is a small painting which took around one to two hours, but then you are doing big paintings. It takes weeks to complete the whole painting. So it requires a lot of effort when you are doing any portrayed or any detailing sort of thing. So let's do our last part, which is left out. 16. Final Detailing Of Tail: Hello friends, welcome back. So let's start with the last part of painting. Bunches detail is left, so let's do it. So I'm just adding little bit of surrealism blue and creating the outer outline to it. Just adding surrealism blue to that same aqua green and white mixture and just outlining the area which is touching black. And just adding little white and a little more of surrealism, blue. And blocking that area to create little bit of a lighter version inside. And just taking little bit of black and mixing it to the scholar and creating small, small slant lines to create a feathery shape to it. So if your colors getting dried off, just use little bit awful water and make it liquid form so that you can create nice lines to it. So adding a little bit more of white and creating the outer outlines to just adding little bit of details. So adding the outline on the outer area. Let's not Dwight completely aquatic green and blue as added to it. And just giving the tool shape to that tail. Good. Now again, taking white and adding little bit more of details to the area which is the stomach area. Here you can see what was there. So I just removed it with my disheveled people. Tonight's clean. So I'll just take more of black and highlight that area. With my vertical stroke. Just to outline. Outline. Just highlighting in liquid form and just highlighting and the eyes. And again, I'm dead removing that wide towards because I'm not legging into I'll do it again. So I'm just removing that white dot and just creating small, small lines where I feel like to be there. Just finally to the whole painting before it does completely done. So now again, taking wide and very thin and just adding the outline to the outer area. And now again creating those small dots, which I did earlier and I was not satisfied. So very fine and small dots should be there. So this is it. So this, I think it's fine now. Finally, I looks perfect. So finally is done. So let's take out the masking tape and see how it looks.
