Project Description
Capture a food story you've only heard or read about.
ASSIGNMENT
Capture a badass photo of food that tells a story— one you've only read about or heard about, until now. By choosing something slightly unfamiliar, your final images will be your own true vision.
Consider:
- A moment in history
- Books and song lyrics
- Social or religious traditions
- Celebrity rituals
- Personal family stories
Want more prompts? I've attached a PDF with specific ideas — e.g. “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” by Billy Joel, your parents' wedding dinner — and included links below. Can't wait to see you beat me at my own game!
DELIVERABLE
Share your project in the Project Gallery. Bonus points for behind-the-scenes pics! Include:
- Final photo (shot with any camera you'd like)
- A short blurb about the story you're telling
Don't wait to post your project all at once — post your initial ideas for feedback, and update it over time.
