About This Class

This class will teach how to use Inkscape, a free vector drawing program, to design quilt blocks. Students will learn how to set up the work space for creating quilt blocks, how to draw a block , how to trace a block, and how to use the blocks to test quilt designs. Students will then design a block of their own, trace a block, and create a quilt in their class project. This class is geared toward intermediate computer users and beginner Inkscape users.

This is an interesting way to audition quilt blocks. I appreciate learning how to make a template in inkscape which simplifies the process. I will try this with other blocks and appliques.
Very informative.. moves through each topic at a good pace
