1. Introduction: Hi, I'm Jenny. Today. I'm gonna show you how to make an easy peanut sauce rescue if you've ever wanted to make your own peanut sauce recipe but were unsure where to start this classes for you, it's delicious and versatile. Peanut sauce is easy to make with ingredients. You can find any grocery store. It's quick and perfect for busy weeknights, although it's impressive enough to serve the guests you. Once we make the peanut sauce, I'm gonna show you three easy recipes to use it. A tasty lettuce wrap, hot and cold peanut noodles and one of my favorites, a roasted. This class is perfect for beginners is well experienced and the peanut sauce this vegan friendly. Although meat eaters love it, too, let's get started. 2. Peanut Sauce Ingredients: Okay, so let's talk about the ingredients. You're only getting six, and you can find them in any peanut sauce we're gonna make. Today is a coconut based peanut sauce. It's really rich and creamy, and it has a complex flavor. I think you're gonna love it, so the first ingredient you're going to need is coconut milk. You can find coconut milk and pretty much any grocery store these days, but if you live in a small town or just having a hard time, finding ways forward from the next ingredient is peanut butter normally like to use natural peanut butter and peanut sauce. It just has a really rich peanut flavor and also has less sugar. But regular peanut butter works really well, too. And that's actually what it is today because I had my cover. The next ingredient, Issa Raja, some raja. Add spice as well as flavor to your peanut sauce, and I love it. You can add as much or as little as you want, or you could even leave it out together. You don't like spice. The next ingredient is here, Ma Salo, which is a blend of spices, and you should go to find that in most first, restores Teoh, if not annoys order from Amazon. Or you could substitute curry powder, too, going to add a complex flavor to your peanut sauce. And then we have soy sauce. I like the cute Come on, brand. You can find it in any grocery store, and I think it's the best of the supermarket brands. And finally we have sugar. We're gonna use a little bit of sugar to balance up other flavors, so gather ingredients and let's make the peanut sauce. 3. Making the Peanut Sauce: All right, let's make peanut sauce. You're gonna need a medium size bowl as well as a spatula and whisk. So you're going to add to earlier and one cup coconut milk. Basically, just gonna add everything into the bull together and then blended up. And then we got half a cup peanut butter, plus two or tablespoons of peanut butter. That's where your spatula comes in, because you want to get all that good peanut flavor and there to make sure to get that's. Once you add peanuts last, you're gonna add two tablespoons of soy sauce so he adds flavor as well as a little bit of salt. Then you've got one teaspoon of your, um, ocelot, two teaspoons of sugar on one teaspoon. Once you go that you're just gonna take your west and you're gonna whisk it until it gets. And that's my take a few minutes. Peanut butter likes to stick together, but just go in, and eventually you'll get a nice sauce. When your payments losses finish, it's going to be nice and that it should have a good texture, smooth and creamy. At this point, you can taste it and adjust the seasonings If you think it's a little too bland, add a little more soy sauce. If he wanted. Spicier had some Suraj. If you're afraid of spicy foods, you could leave up the sore actual when you're blending it together and just add a little bit by little bit at this point. But at this point, your content sauce has done and it's ready to eat. So now that you know how to make this easy peanut sauce, I'm gonna show you three simple recipes to use it. The 1st 1 is going to be a lettuce wrap. The 2nd 1 is hot or cold peanut noodles, and the last one is my favorite, the roasted Broccoli. Let's get started with the recipes. 4. Lettuce Wraps Recipe: The first rescue we're gonna make with peanut sauce is an easy, less round. I love lettuce wraps there really flavorful and fresh. They're perfect for parties. You can lay out all the ingredients and have everybody makes their own raps, or you can assemble them. How the time. They're also good for busy weeknight, because all you have to do is travel a few ingredients and already passed that peanuts. That's right. So what you need is a head of lettuce. And do you want one that has smaller leaves like this one so that they're easy to manage? I normally like to use butter lettuce. They didn't have it on my girls restores but ahead of green lettuce, green leaf lettuce like using works the Internet needed cucumber. I'm using an English cucumber. English cucumbers have fewer seats in the middle, so they're really good for dicing and slicing up for things ready like cucumber work fine. The next Anyone is a nice big carrot, and that's gonna lots of crunch and flavor to wraps for the protein we're gonna use Baked. I love big toe foods that has tons of flavor. Perfect. If you don't or you've had before, and it seemed planned. Big toe move has a really great firm texture, and it also has a lot of flavor already it. So it's perfect for something like these lettuce wraps and it's already ready to use. You don't need to marinate it or anything crazy like that. So let's get started on the rest. So to make these raps, the first thing you're gonna dio is wash your head of lettuce really well and blood and try to. Then you're gonna pull apart the lettuce into different sections like us, And this is gonna be how you serve your lettuce wraps right inside of there. You want to take your toe and you want to cut it up into queues. Really simple. Once you have those cubes, you're just gonna brown it in a little bit of olive oil just so it gets cold in on all sides. It's gonna get nice and warm and crispy, and it's gonna be a nice contrast to your cooler ingredients for your cucumber. What you're gonna do, you're gonna cut it into slices like this First, cut it into sections, probably about 2 to 3 inches long. And since I'm using in English to cover. I'm not feeling it. Doesn't have a wax coating like normal cucumber mud. If you're using a regular cucumber, you wanna kill it and you'll want to scrape out the seeds inside with. So we're taking cucumber. We've cut it into slices, and then we're just cutting it into thin strips like this. And you're gonna be in the same thing with your carriage since carrots around and they like to move around a lot. I like Teoh. Cut a slice off the bottom and then turn it so the flat side is down and then you're gonna go to the same strips like you did with cucumber. Want to get a few? Just do the same thing. Staff come up, You're going to cut them into those nice little strips. Next. So kind of your vegetables suffer your lettuce leaves and then graham your toe food with you. Do that. We're gonna come back, and I'm gonna show you how to assemble the lettuce crumbs. Okay, Brown on my tofu. You can see it's nice and golden brown hair. Cut up all my budgies and I'm ready to serve these lettuce rooms. What we're gonna do ISS at a few cucumbers to your lettuce and some Curis nice and colorful , and then top it off with a few pieces of beautiful brown and I forgot to mention earlier. But if you don't like tofu, you can substitute it with something different. Could use chicken. If you're a bee eater, you could use the time you could even just get the total altogether and do more veggies. It would be really good in the summer, whatever you like, and then you're just gonna serve it with your beautiful peanut sauce that you made earlier contracts a little over the top. And like I said, you consider all the ingredients and have gas bill their own or you can. Some of them like us, and then people can just have a peanut sauce when they write it, and that's it. Enjoy 5. Hot or Cold Peanut Noodles Recipe: But that's rescue. We're gonna make it hot or cold peanut sauce. It's one of my favorite Russkies. I've been making it for years. It's really quick and easy perfect for those busy weeknights and super delicious. Teoh. What you're gonna need is Ā£1 of pasta amusingly waiting. You could all see spaghetti if you want, and you're gonna need to bell peppers amusing one red and one orange, just to give it a little bit of pretty color. Only a little bit of a well to cook the peppers. And for the garnish you'll want a little bit of cilantro and some peanuts. So let's get started preparing the ingredients before you start your vegetables. Bring a large pot of salted water to oil and you'll cook your linguini or spaghetti Whatever. You decided to use that until L. Dante on Sunday basically means that it just has a little bit of bite. Teoh. It's tender, but it has. I left it so it's not tolling machine. Okay, let's prepare the other ingredients for these noodles, so to cut peppers. Usually what I like to do is both ends like us. Cut it in half, remove all those sees stuff from the inside. You're Do you have anything ridges like that? You can use your night to come out, make it really nice and flat. Same thing. See that other? And then you have a really nice flat surface for cutting your peppers into strips like this . And that's basically what you're gonna do. You're gonna cut both of those peppers strips, nice strips like us. So keep going with that, and you don't have to waste the tops or bottoms you can use those to. So just come around that core. Cut those industries like that same thing with bottom. Just cut your paper strips. Do with both for your toppings. We've got some cilantro here, and you're gonna want about 1/4. You don't like cilantro, You just get it. So not a requirement. And you're just gonna chop that up pretty roughly. I like to make it into a little bundle before a child together. And don't worry if there's any stunts and they're definitely use those just runner nice through it inside. And your topic, it's peanuts and we'll about two tablespoons. And you're just going to track those up too? Nothing crazy. Just a few times. Minor already pretty small, so they don't need. So if you're making the cold peanut sauce noodles, you just chop up their slice up your peppers and save them until your pasta's cooked. If you are making Heartlands, I'm going to show you how to solve. Okay, so what I've done here, it's at two teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. Two medium hand and it's been heated over medium high heat. Gonna get nice and hot to give those peppers lots of nice color and flavor. So we're gonna you're looking until they're nice and stop. I've got lots of color. Okay? Problems have been going for a few minutes. Now you see that color on exactly what you want? A lot of labor with peppers. They're gonna have a smoking flavor, and they're gonna be nice. So I'm just gonna be a little bit of salt pepper movie that a lot of flavor in there, a good stir, and then you off. Okay, lets a similar pasta. I got my nice hot pasta here cooked well done today. Noodles in there. And then I got those beautiful soft noodles. She get all of them and then just take your peanut sauce and you're gonna add that right over the top. And this pizza's does have a tendency to think a little bit. So you set aside a little pasta water. If you're worried it's gonna be teething, and then you're just gonna toss everything together. And this is one of those rescues that you can really customize your taste so you could add kind of protein Teoh like some chicken or some sauteed tofu like we did with the lettuce wraps you could also at different vegetables. This works really with any kind of vegetable, so I really like broccoli. But it would also work. Put some green onions in there. You could do some spot bikini really, whatever you like. And whatever you have sitting around your house, you want to use that play with us, so feel free to get creative with it. And if you're reading the cold peanut noodles, what you dio when the pasta has done cooking instead of adding it right in here like this, you would rinse it off with cool water first, and then you toss everything together cold instead of hot like this. Okay, so what's your sauce is mixed in there. You could give it a little taste. Sometimes, if there's a lot of water cleaning your possible dilute the sauce. I don't think I have this problem this time, but you could add a little extra soy sauce. It tastes plan, and then we're gonna play it. Enough on your custody. A bowl. We're gonna do a nice, generous serving. Good. You know us. I'm gonna make a mess here. Avery Mussi. Okay, let's make sure we have some vegetables on their It doesn't look delicious. And then we're gonna add toppings to finish it off. So if you remember, we had the chopped up cilantro sprinkled over the top. Like I said, you can skip the salon trip. You know, like that. I like cilantro. But I know a lot of people. And then we're gonna add the peanuts on the top two for a little crunch. And that's it. You're peanut noodles are ready to eat 6. Roasted Broccoli Bowl Recipe: the last bus we were going to make today A roasted practicable. This is one of my favorite Rusty's. I probably make it once a week. Super healthy, delicious, and I love it if you never have grocer practically before you're in for tree roasting at a really unique flavor to broccoli tastes nothing like the raw or steamed broccoli that you're used to. It makes it really delicious and almost nutty, and I think even your broccoli you should give it a try because you might like it. So here's what you're gonna you'll need a can of chickpeas, and I have expressed set up to feed two people, but you could easily double or triple the ingredients to serve a bigger crowd. The next thing you'll need is half a cup of brown rice. You'll need some olive oil and salt pepper, and then only one big head of Bradley for each person you're serving. So for this rescue, we're going to have to so gather ingredients and let's get started. The first thing you want to do before started, any preparation is preheat your oven to 450 degrees. The next thing you want to do is to make you rice because that's going to take the longest cook. So you'll combined half a cup of brown rice, one cup of water, a little bit of salt in a small saucepan. Trickster, you're going to bring that to a boil over high feet. Once it comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover it and cook it. Forced about 35 45 minutes. You want to leave the cover on what cooking, but at about 35 minutes you can check it. If it's not quite ready, keep cooking it for a little bit longer until all the waters next. You want to train and rents that can of chickpeas, and you can set that aside while you're recurring broccoli so the liquid can run off a little bit and then you take your brackley. You're just gonna cut off the stem and you can get rid of that. Then you cut a little pieces into floor X. You want to make sure they're nice and bite size. Nothing too big, but something you can eat comfortably in one bite. So you're gonna go ahead and do that with all of your brother After you cut up all your broccoli into florets, you're going to transfer to a baking. Can I spray this lightly with nonstick spray just to make it a little easier to clean up later? So transfer everything you want one layer like this and you're going to do the same thing with your chippy. So have another pan transfer and you're gonna add some olive oil, please. For the brackley, I like to use a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. If you're watching your calories, you can cut it down a little bit. But you want to be generous with oil. So address that over for the chickpeas, about a table spoon, and then any season both really generously sold cover. If you wanted to get creative, you could use some other seasonings. You could even use some of that era Mocelin that we used in peanut sauce. That would be really delicious. Or you could add whatever. Once you do that, give it a quick toss. I just want everything nicely. Well, and then we're gonna transfer that, and we're gonna bake these for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes is up, you're going to take the broccoli and chickpeas out of the oven and you're gonna flip over . The Brackley can see it's getting some really nice color on it. And that's exactly what you want. You want it to get nice and brown like that roast. You want it to look like that, You're gonna get your chickpeas a shape, and they're gonna get you ever had before their great snap. But they're also a good addition to this whole. And once you do that, you're gonna put him back 10. Once the rice is cooked and your broccoli and your Trippi's air roasted, it's time to build your goal. We're gonna start with the rice. Just that have a nice generous It's one. Super hats just came out of stone. That's what you're gonna do is add your brother that right on top of your rights, see brown color That's gonna time flavor way these guns, and then we're gonna top the race with did you? And these two peas are so delicious right now, Really crunchy texture on outside. But they're so kind of creamy soft on the inside. Really. The finishing touch to our goal is are people sauce? Of course. Your skin Trussell that right over the top. And you know what? I'm gonna add a few peanuts on the top, just for a little touch. That's what your broccoli Bullis ready. Enjoy. 7. Conclusion: Thank you so much for taking my class. I hope you enjoyed it. Are looking forward to trying peanut sauce for speak. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. I can't wait to hear from you. And don't forget to take a photo. Once you try peanut sauce and share with us, I can't wait to see how you use it.
