About This Class

How annoying is that?

You work really hard for a well composed image. You got the lightning right, you learned about your camera's settings to produce a special effect and you put tons of time into just "getting it right" and then you find your image somewhere else, without any credit to you.

Well, you can make the best of it. And you can do that quickly. In this class you'll learn how to get a logo on your image in a batch. It won't take you more than a few seconds to get this done.

So let's make the most of a theft (if you can) and watermark your images so you get at least the credit you deserve if your images are found on another website.

1. Introduction: Quick Fix to prevent your Images from Theft: Welcome to the class quick fix to prevent your images from theft. Hi, my name is Mona and I'm an online teacher Since two seldom ate as a multimedia designer, I teach all things creative from image enhancement off a video editing to online marketing . I make a living online since 2011. However, I know how hard the beginnings were and how especially the small fixes and proved my workflow and therefore my business results in this class I show you how to prevent your images from being stole. Taking a good image, including composition, takes time. So it is really annoying. If someone else takes it wanted off your hard work. If you are anything like me, you quickly forget to add a watermark to your picture. So I will not do it up front and at a watermark to my picture in a batch. So this takes no more than a minute for 50 pictures and more and you can easily do it. Let me show you how click the enroll now, button and join me in this class 2. What you need for this Class: for this class, you're going to need adobe light room light from this part of the creative suite off Adobe , and you can rent the program online. So I'm at adobe dot com on Before you go ahead and purchase the subscription, you can have a free trial, and that is what I recommend if you have never worked with Adobe Light room or photo shop at all. So what you can do here is you can Donald the creative cloud app to your computer, and then you can go from there and install programs you need. For example, you can install light room what we are going to need for this course, and you can also install a photo shop so you pay a price for the whole photography suit, and you can see if you need that. So as it says, he has a plan for everybody. So for photograph, ISS and individuals or students and so on. So let's check out the photography plan quickly. I don't want to advertise Adobe. That's not I want to do. I just want to show you your options. And I definitely wanted to tell you that you can just try it out so you can participate in this class. So here it says what is included in the photography cloud plan. So yes, you can see it's Adobe Photo shop. It's ah light room, and there are also the abs included you can use for your mobile applications on So you can . You pretty much have everything you need to added to your pictures and two story them especially. So that is what you can do here. And when you click here on free trial, you're going to see the options you have. Or you can't just start your free trial. You can use it 30 days for free. So that is how you can try out and also try out this class. Yeah, So let's go ahead. If you haven't already insult light from, go ahead and get off the creative cloud and install the free trial and see if you need it or if you need that at all on them. Or maybe you can just tell get sometimes thumb, which I I'm going to show you in this class 3. Choose the right Settings: So, first off, all we want to get the settings correctly. For that, you go here into your menu in light room and click here on light room on, Then click edit watermarks. And now you see already that you have an empty place here where you can add your watermark and see here it says copyright ammonia, which is my name. But you don't have to go with that. You can choose an image here. You can type, of course, whatever text you want to Andi. Choose whatever fall and style you want to. But even better, you go here and click shows your image. You can't go for a PNG or a day PG file. So let's do that click. Choose on. I have the image on my desktop, so let's click here logo on to choose. And now you see, I have it on the bottom left and I wanted on the bottom right, and I also want to have it here. So horizontal, Klay and vertically a little bit different, so you have a lot of options here to go with. You can change the opacity so you don't have to go with 100%. You can't use another proportion, so make it bigger or smaller. Whatever you want to. I leave it like this and then you can what I already said. You can move it to the right and to the top and you can choose the anchor. So in this case ago, bottom right, as I said so and I know we'll go a little bit higher here, a little bit more left and then a little bit higher here. So and if I added to my block, I don't want to cut the logo office. That's why I choose it a little bit higher. So once done, I can click, save and give it a preset name. So whenever I choose the watermark, I can't just choose what I know. Add it here. So click create anti Orta. 4. Import your Images: So in the next gap, we are going to import our photos. So for that you click here on import and then you choose the folder where you have your images I have from here on my desktop. You can, of course, choose whatever here you go. For I just click on my user name and then desktop. And then I have When I click on the error, I have planner photos. And now, as you can see, they are all shacked and I don't want to import them all right now I can uncheck them all. Oh, if I want you and and I can check any single image if I want you, I want to import them also, I click here again, check all and then I click on import and they will be in my life room database. 5. Export in a Batch: So now we have all images imported, and we want to add the watermark in just Yeah, just in a moment. So let me show you how that works. So, first off, all you need to mark all your images here. And for that you weather click here on the 1st 1 then shift and on the last one, and you have some Hallmark or you're simply keep Koman A and you also have some hallmark. So once you have done that, go to your menu, click file and then export. And I have to tell you about two settings. So first of all, it will be exported to my desktop, But I don't want to have all 50 images floating on my desktop. I want them in a sub folder. And for that I have to check that here and put in a sub folder. And, um, just give it a name. So, planner with logo, I say, and then I scroll down. You see, here are a lot off difference headings, and you can try that and shoot that, or look at a different course on you will learn that you and when you go here to water marking your camp. Click here the check box next to Watermark and them. When you click the drop dominant menu, you will find what we have just created as a less logo. That is what I created. I choose that now and then I click export, and now light Room is working for me and will add the logo to all my images in just seconds . So let's check back how that worked and see how the images look. 6. Let's have a Look what we did: So now I have my folder. When I write said right now is plan planner with local. And here are all the images and really it just took, Let's say five seconds. And now I open on image here. And you see, I have my logo on bottom. Right? Let me show you the next one and the next one. You see, the logo is on any image here. So now you can save tones off time with this little course on, and yeah, I hope you have fun with it and just explores the settings. You can't do anything wrong here, so let me see what you can get up with. 7. Outro & Project : sir. Congratulations. You already marched at this quick course about light room. You have learned now a very important functionality. And it will save Utahns off time. So now you need to dive into your project as pretty easy off course. I want you to add a logo to your image and show me that you have done that. So I really would appreciate if you add a logo to your image and uploaded to our project gallery. Because ready important for others instructors to get some feedback from you as a community member. So we know if this course is good And if we should go unlike this or if we should change something.
