Project Description

Your Custom Linoleum Print

For the class project, we're going to transfer a design of your choice onto a linoleum block and carve the block to make prints.

Your project should roll out in three phases:

Part 1: Your design inspiration
Part 2: One or more project proofs
Part 3: Your final print

If you want to work on a letterform, a web search for "monograms" should turn up some interesting inspiration, or there are a few cool ideas for monograms here in my Bold Monograms Pinterest Board

To get started, share your design inspiration in the project gallery and watch the class videos.

Once you the supplies you need you need, you'll start carving the linoleum block, pull a proof or two, and then you can print to your heart's content (or until you run out of printing surfaces!)

Can't wait to see your project!
