Project Description

Professional Consulting Chapter 2 - Finding Clients and Securing Engagements

This project comes in two parts.

First, build for yourself a consulting resume if you do not already have one - something you would give to a client that shows off your qualifications to try to secure a consulting engagement - it frequently will become part of a consulting proposal to a client so build it with this in mind.  My resume, as an example, is attached. Note:  This is a relatively complete resume - I usually scale it back to just a few pages for each project submission - usually just pointing to projects relevant to the opportunity.

Secondly, register yourself at Dice - a consulting bulletin board where you can advertise your skills. Be sure to submit your resume to this site.
