Project Description

Carve & block print your own handmade wrapping paper & gift tags.

799457e2

Start by researching block printing and think about the themes which you want to create for your wrapping paper and gift tags. You can create prints inspired by the Christmas theme or nature, or you can run wild and develop your prints based on some other things which inspire you! You can also create abstract, geometric or non-figurative prints. Experiment and have fun!

Don’t hesitate to check out our Printmaking research board on Pinterest to get started. You can also download attached PDF file with our Gift Tags Template with guides for easy printing and cutting out your gift tags.

Complete your class project by uploading the following:

  • photographs of the printed wrapping paper and gift tags;
  • your sketches, research, mood board or inspirational images (optional)
  • photographs of your printmaking process (optional);
  • photographs of the wrapped up presents with tags (optional);
  • a few words about your theme, process and what you have learnt.
