1. Intro: Hello, everyone. My name is Karen's. On this class, you will learn how to create this exact poster. If you like to experiment with poster stars and colorful artworks, this is a class for you. I will show you where you can get your resource is and go step by step on the process to create the buster. We'll start on CMR 40 to create some three D objects that we will need for the poster. But if you don't have cinema four d, don't worry, because I would send a PNG files to you. Then we will continue on Polish shop where you will learn how to create radiance and apply them as effects on your father references. It will be a fun project where you will explore a new style and have found by doing so, make sure to enroll and see the whole class. 2. Resources: Hey guys, welcome back. So on this part I will show you the process that we're going to take toe create this poster . So I'm going to show the resources that were going toe Get So the main part of this poster is this statue that we're going to get from Pinterest something similar to this. Also, there are these landscapes with the stripes that we're going toe create on Cinema four D If you don't have cinema four d, don't worry, Just send me a message and that will send these as PNG so you can use them also, you have some free resources from my website. But anyway, also, we have these star Steri background. We can get something like this song will images. Also we have these birds that also we're going to take from Google. So let's go on Google images. Uh, first, let's, uh, type berths PNG and revel these images. This is the one that I used. But of course you can use the other other images also for the stars just type stars black and white on you can get something similar to the one I use like this one and for the statute is gone. Interest. Just, uh, search for a statue and you will get all these images that you can download and use it for your poster. Also, you can search on once players that come that you can use this images for free. So there are a lot off places where you can get thes. Resource is Onda. After get this kind of resources, we will go on cinema party to create this landscapes. As I said, if you don't have set him up for the you can skip the next, uh, part of the class. Just send me a message on Instagram so I can share these s PNG do. He's a C on the next video. 3. Cinema4D: Okay, so now we are on cinema four D, and we're going to create those landscapes with stripes texture. To do that, we goto this cube goto landscape and you can change the size by clicking this yellow daughter right here. You can drag this also this one right here, Or you can do it manually on the sides. As you can see, when we change the size this one changes to we can use these tools to change the camera position. For example, this want to rotate this one to zoom in, zoom out on this one toe move left, right, Onda. Now we need toe softer, the softening the edges off these landscape, and we need to make these two options 0%. Okay, uh, and to make this, like more detailed, you can increase the with segments on death segments if that some details. Okay, so now if we render view, we just see this gray landscape and we need to create a material. So go to create new material like a neat onda. As you can see, we have checked the color and the reflectors. We need to check them and check only the dominance. Let's drag These send a plight on our object. You can apply to a tear or on the landscape. Now, as you can see, the materialist is just white color. And if we render view, we get justice white color. So we need to add the texture so quick on the Sarah right here and go toe surfaces and search for tiles. Now quicken the tiles and we have all these colors. Full four colors. We need to make them all black and white. So the 1st 1 is black. Let's make this one white. This one black on this one. Okay, So as you can see, the pattern is squares. We need to click on it and search for lines. Okay. Now, as you can see, we have this soft edges right here. To avoid that, we need to make this 0% also the babble with 0%. And now we have these strikes. But they are, like, really big. So toe make them smaller. We need to change the global scale. There is 100%. We can make it like 10%. Let's see how it looks. Yes, it looks much better. Okay, so let's zoom out Now we need to render this so we goto render settings on on the output. We can change the size. We can make it like really big, just in case we needed. Let's go to save. Let's make the former PNG So we have a transfer in Bagram. We need to check the Alpha Channel so we can have a transparent Bagram Onda Goto fire to save it toe folder on. Then you go toe, render Onda and just wait for it toe render and to create some variations off these landscapes, you just goto landscape, object and go to seed and just change this. And as you can see this, get some random landscapes that you can rounder, tool and used for the artwork. So that's it for the cinema. Four D part. Just save some landscape images and we're going to use them on on the poster. So see in the next video 4. Gradients: Hey, guys, Welcome back. So now we are in for the shop and let's create a new documents off. I'll new on. Usually I use this size 4000 5000 just in case I needed for print. But in this case, I'm using this instagram resolution size because I'm using it just for his program. And I'm not going to print this, but just to have in mind that if you want to print it, you can use this These, uh, resolution. Okay, so color mode RGB and quick create on. The first thing that I'm going to explain is how to create a radiant I usually explaining it in like every tutorial I make. But I'm keeping this very short, just in case you want to get the same greater that I have. So for example, uh, this one to create this exact radiant, you can start from these default rating that you have and you can just change the colors. So click on the these greedy in, then click on the red color. We can call the red, and you can change the color. Okay. In case you have a photo reference, it helps, For example, if I apply these great young you can screenshot this as and use it as a reference. You can get the colors from here. So just for example, go on this collar Quick on it, Onda Uh, quick on the point right here and it's elects the caller's and click. OK, so in case you want to get this color, you can screenshot this Also, I'm applying some other Grady ins just in case you want to use them. For example, this one also this one. This one too. So this is just in case you need the exact graders that I have. So now we will start working with a statue. So see you in the next video. 5. Statue: Hey, welcome back. So I got this picture from Pinterest than the coping this command control. See Command Control V. And let's resize it in case, uh, you want to keep the proportions. It depends on your father shop version, because on the newest one, you don't have toe click command control. Tito, keep the proportion. So if you have an older version quick among control Tito, keep the proportions. So I'm just scaling this a little bit. Okay, Okay. So now we're going to remove the background. There are a lot off ways that you can remove the background in this case. For example, you can use this quick selection tool and you can select the background in case you have, ah, one color background on just, like, pick copped. But if you zoom in, as you can see, there are these savages that I don't really like. So I'm doing this also, you have these select color range and you can select this collar right here. You can play around with the prisoners and it will select automatically the background. This is just in case you have a one color background and just cut it. But still, you have to play around with with a transparency and the the tolerance of the of the selection toe to avoid this kind of hedges. So that's undo this again. So, to be more precise, I use the mental right here, the mental and it is more precise. You just need to have patience. Just click on a point and click on another point. You can hold toe to create some curves and just ah, go for the shape of the statue. Okay, so now we just need to close the path and right click makes election click OK, on command control C command control be. And as you can see, it creates a new layer. So let's and check the layer below. I'm going to cut this part right here, too. Okay, so now we're going to work with the adjustments off the off the statue. As we can see on this example, these this is like a colorful statue. Have added a little color to it, and there's not like a secret formula to this. You just play around with the adjustments, and that's what we're going to do. So going this cycle right here and we have all these adjustment layers, we can start with the brightness and contrast on. Let's play around with this. As you can see it, apply some the background tool. So we need to apply it on the on the statue. So goto layer great clipping mask. And this sparrow appears on Do it applies only on the statue. Now the next adjustment layer will be the curves. As you can see, there are these RGB red, green and blue curves. Onda basically, we we're gonna point on this diagonal line. It applies some effect on the statue. Basically, you just play around with this until you get some cool highlights from it. So I'm speeding this up because I'm just playing around and see what looks better on my picture case after we played around with the curves, we can, uh, at the U situation Adjustment. Onda, let's play around with separation also with you. Let's see what looks better to you and also to add more color, we can, at some radiant map on go to these great and map and you can apply one of the great things that you have created. For example, this one on duh change the mode from normal to something like, uh I don't know. Let's see what looks better. Maybe we can try another Grady int. I think it looks better without it, But you can try it on your picture. Maybe it looks better on you. So that's great. And you earlier and I'm selecting the highlights off this picture. So just click on the highlights of the picture. For example, in this part, I'm playing around with the fuzziness. Make sure you are selecting the sample color Onda click. OK, and now I'm going to apply a great into the selected area. Now let's be select on. Okay, Now we're going to add the three D landscape, so see you in the next video. 6. 3D Landscapes: Hey, guys, Welcome back. So now I'm going to add these three D landscapes job. So I opened some of them on day. I'm just going toe copy. Paste them on the poster. So command control C and command control. So it applied on this, uh, sleeping mass. So I'm just dragging these down, okay, That zoom out and common control T and, uh, no. Let's, uh, ree scale them. So basically, I'm just going toe position them to create a good composition. Okay, So after I repositioned all of these landscapes, as you can see on this example, they are on different colors, and how we're going to do that is ah, uh, apply some gradient map to it, so I don't rename my layers, but as you can see, this layer represent this one. I'm going to make this darker. So goto image adjustment to saturation and just decrease the lightness. Okay, locate. Let's see this one. I'm going to leave this white, This one. I'm going to apply radiant map so quick on this icon. Radiant map on the That's changed that change the radiant. So first, let's go to leer. We're going to apply the clipping mask. Maybe we need toe exit this. So go to layer. Create clipping mess So it applies only on the layer below. And now that Change the ingredient. Let's see what looks better. Okay, so I'm applying this one. Quick Locate now that supply another great into this lady right here. Don't ingredient map. Afghan layer clipping mask on. Let's see what looks better to it. Yeah, I think this one is okay. Maybe I can copy these. So first let's group is so Click on the layer above. Hold ship quick on the layer below and click on this group icon. And to copy this You just hold old key and drag this up. Okay, let's track this above the is layer Command Control T on. Let's ah, reposition it right here. Okay, So now we can at some shadow toe this so create a new layer above these landscapes. So first I'm grouping these just so you can orientate better. I'm grouping this layers. So landscapes. Let's see. Um, check. Okay, so now we are creating a shadow just to make, like, more three d So goto brush tool change the most normal and just play around with the size. Change the color to black, Click on the point, lead on another point. By holding ships, you can create a straight line. So just toe give that idea that there is a shadow. James Capacity. Yeah. Come on, control T we can re scale this. Uh, I'm holding shift second, make this dinner. Yeah, OK, now we're going toe works with some other details. We can change the background and that some other details toe the posture. So see you in the next video. 7. New Elements: they welcome back. So on this part, basically, we're going to turn this into something similar to this before we work on it. I wanted to say that if you have enjoyed this tutorial until now would appreciate a good review. Also, I would love to see your project so I can share them on my instagram page. And you can leave your instagram on the project s o. I can tag you. Okay, so now let's keep working with this. I'm hoping the resource is okay. So first, I'm using this picture for the background Command control. See? And let's go to our poster. Make sure you paste it below the landscapes. Okay, Let's, uh, resize this case after we apply the background, we can at this kind off are above the head of the statue. So how you can do this is just a grating you earlier, and we're going to use this elliptical market toe and just create an ellipse. I think that on just go ingredient tool, apply the greedy int. I'm using this greedy int. Okay, now let's de select. That's reposition this, you know, that's ah, Copy this layer by holding gold, key and dragging up. Let's invert this so we can see the color. Seamus. Image adjustment, invert or just come on. Control life. Hi. Now command control T on Gomery. Scaling this. OK, now click Command control. Onda Azul can see this selection tool appears on the layer so quick on the layer And as you can see, it selects the layer Now from this layer above quick on the layer below and that's and check the layer above on. Let's delete this selected part so you can click delete on the keyboard or just cut Onda. And this gives idea of aura we can quick command control t to re skill this. Okay, now let's create a shadow. So to create the shadow, I'm making a copy of this and applying on the clipping mask off the statue. Onda, let's use the arrow key to keep it toe to replace it. I'm making this black common control you decrees the lightness on Let's, uh, at some blower affected pewter blur and go from there. Let's change the radius click OK, and if you want, we can play around with the A positive. So yeah, I think I'm changing the great amount of this. So I'm selecting this and go to Grady in. Maybe I can use another color. Let's make this more bright colors. So go the blending options color overly. And, uh, make the blending more color Dodge and the A positive. About 50%. And let's make the color something like being okay. So now I'm going to add, uh, some other details. Onda, apply some color adjustments to it to finalize it, So see, in the next Libya. 8. Finalize: Hey, welcome back. So now I'm going to add this bird picture. I'm changing the size of it first, So let's like this command control. See? And let's go to our poster command Control V. Let's scale this and toward some colors to this again. We're going to apply a radiant map on Let's apply the gradient map toe layer below and changed a great and map color on you. OK, and now let's do some final color adjustments. For example, brightness and contrast. Let's increase the brightness on the contracts a little bit. Also, let's see the consideration. Maybe we can change it a little bit. Yeah, just see what looks better to you. Maybe I can play around with the consideration on this statue. I'm not sure what looks better, but yeah, I think it looks OK. And also let's player only the color balance. Just some few details to finalize this poster. No. One thing that we forgot to add is this circle behind. So let's go on the leader behind the the landscapes and above the steri background and creating new layer on duh, apply this elliptical, elliptical market tool hold chief to create on a regular circle on. Just apply a radiant you can type G other keyboard as a shortcut to the great young. And let's make this brighter. Yeah, I think it looks OK, so I think that's it for this tutorial. I try to explain every stuff that I that I took on. And if you have something that you didn't understand, of course you can send me a message or ask me for anything and I will try to explain also if you don't have ah Cinema four d, send me a message so I can send these as PNG's these landscapes. And also, as I said, I would love to see your project so I can give some feedback and you can share your instagram page too so I can share your project and tag you. And also, I appreciate a good review. If you have enjoyed this tutorial, Onda also, I wait for your recommendations for the next tutorial. Just send me a message or D m on Instagram.
