About This Class

This class is for anyone who has ever wanted to draw a face from a photo and have it really look like that person. While I share the basics of pencil portrait art, it is also in depth enough for the intermediate to advanced artist.

In this class you will learn:

  • What tools are needed to create a pencil portrait
  • How to pick a good photo for drawing
  • How to get an accurate outline
  • How to create smooth skin tones
  • How to draw hair

Very nice work. Though I wanted to see the picture at the same time she was drawing
I could not draw faces to save my soul until I took this class! Now it's as if I've had a breakthrough and I'm able to not only sketch faces, but I can capture specific features and feel confident! Highly recommend this class!
This lecture is very informative and the demonstration was great. Morgan - how do I acquire the transparent grid file to use in photoshop?
