About This Class

Poetry by Design explores the parallels of Design and Poetry as creative platforms for expression. Through a series of 6 assignments, students will gain skills in contemporary poetry-making methods, and will walk away from the class with their own zine of experimental work. The class is lead by Matthew Manos, the Founder and Global Strategy Lead of verynice, and Co-Author/Poet-At-Large of FUTURETACO.

Great class with plenty of creative ideas. Loved it!
I found a lot of inspiration in this class, a lot of suggestion on how you can look at the entire world around you as a source for creations. I have always been attracted by words, but I have never thought that I can write some poems. Now I'm doing it, discovering my voice.

A quick but substantive class by Matthew Manos. He realizes a goal of his in creating this class and shares a bit about his own life experiences here. It is an intriguing class by a genuine and intriguing instructor. Great assignments and great little course!
