About This Class
Here in this Class you will learn the 7 Easy Steps to Play Songs By Ear:
- Get the tune into your head
- I will give you the first few tones of the song
- Pick out the melody of the tune using the 7 tones
- Make sure last tone ends on 1
- Write the 7 scale tones out in music sentences
- Put in Bar lines – 3/4 or 4/4 ?
- Play the song by ear with lyrics
I will do the DEMO from beginning to end using the song Kum Ba Yah.
Follow along so that you can apply this to any songs you want to play by ear.
