Would you like to understand others instantly - even without actually meeting them? You can. This course will teach you how to identify seven different Personality Trait Groupings from Handwriting.

Each of the traits within each group has it's own descriptive graphic, so by just remembering the picture you will instantly recall how it shows in writing. The graphics are illustrative of how these traits appear in handwriting. Almost every trait can be seen in both printing and script, and very little writing is needed.

Each trait is clearly shown within real writing examples and explained as to how exactly it shows up.

You will find a 3 part quiz at the end for you to check how well you are doing - and I'm sure you'll be doing just fine. 

You can find out more about yourself and about anyone else whose writing you have occasion to see. It helps amazingly with getting along with others and understanding what 'makes them tick.'

1. 1 Are you cool: are you cool? Your slant will tell to emotional situations. You will react a one or more off following ways. Everybody does. You leave him. Be cool, are more to the emotional sight. If you're withdrawing into yourself, your slant will be off to the left like these three stick show. If you're maintaining your cool went all about, there's air losing theirs. That's cool. Common objective. Your slant will be upright as the black six shows. If you're feeling with your heart but still acting with your head and control, you have a slight right hand sent. If you show sympathy and compassion but within limits, then you have a stronger right tan sent. And if you throw a reason to the winds and go entirely with your heart, you'll have a really far right hand sent. So all of the's apply to every piece of writing, and sometimes you may write more slanted than others. And if you think about it, if you look at the writing and think about what you're writing about, you'll probably find that the far right hand slant is when you're writing about more emotional things. I'm not price your backhands. It's when things air. You're really not talking about anything that's particularly emotional, like a grocery list or something like that. Here's some writing. See if you can see where the general slant of the writing, which of thes strokes? Which of these spoke says it fit into best, Um, positive video if you want to check it out for longer and just throw it to give you the answer. So the PCI colored one that's the one that best fits that will take the other spokes away. And there you can see more clearly that that fits pretty well. It's not exact, but it's the closest to the slant of the writing, and there's two red arrows showing the same thing. So this writer will show sympathy and compassion, but within bounds, because that's what the PCI Callard stick means. Here's some more writing again. Have a look and see if you can decide which slapped. This was actually pretty easy. It's the black went in the middle, so upright writing absolutely upright this writing. That means the writer will maintain their cool when all about them are losing theirs. I call this the air traffic controller syndrome because we like to think anyway, that air traffic controllers can keep their cool when real problems around there were happening. When planes are all about to fly into each other or whatever, they can keep their cool and direct traffic accordingly. So that's why that's the upright writing now the person with the upright writing, although they can maintain their cool when this a crisis, that doesn't mean they won't fall to bits after the crisis is over. I mean, they're human like everybody else, so they may be cool, calm, collected in a situation that requires it. And there, once it's over, that they just relax and cry or get upset or whatever issue reaction. But they can keep their cool when it's needed. They won't show much emotion in general situations, not crisis situations or anything else in general situations. They won't really show a whole lot of emotion. And how about this writing, which, Where do you think this fits? There you go hits back, so there are the two back can slant six. It doesn't really matter that it's not exact on one because they both mean the same thing. Back can slant. One is just a bit more severe than the other one. So this writer will withdraw into their self on, not allow their feelings to show the further to the left the slant is, the more they'll withdraw into themselves, the more they'll make sure their feelings aren't showing and what it's a strong back cancel , and you can actually feel it. You can feel that they're holding things back. If it's just a slight back can slant. You realize this person isn't showing much emotion, but you won't necessarily get the feeling that they're holding themselves back. But either way, not much emotion showing with a backhand sant. So that's how all this slab school, right from backhand upright, right over to the right. They all have a meaning, and now you have a guinea to you can use to identify how how emotionally expressive anyone will be based on their scent. 2. 2: do you carry a crutch that will show in the pressure that you apply to the pen when writing And it's not just a grudge is any emotion. Will any what emotion will stay with you? How long will emotions stay with you? That shows by the pressure, the heavier the pressure, the longer emotion will stay with you. So whether it's a grudge or its happiness or any other emotion at all, if you have prayer heavy pressure on the page with the pen when you're writing, you will hang onto emotions for a long time. If you're very light pressure, monitor the emotion maybe intense when it happens, but it will go away. It will fade very fast if the pressure that you put on the page when you writing is moderate. You'll hang on to feelings for a while, but relatively soon you'll be willing to let go of past events. Forgive and forget on this is average time, so the pressure gauge is half full and there's some writing. It shows that on. I know it's difficult to tell her heavily, the pressure heavy, the pressure is on the screen. So at the end of this lesson, you'll see all the writing on the screen. At the same time, I don't become more obvious to you, but moderate pressure, which you can tell by looking at a piece of paper with writing on as well as I can. Moderate pressure on the page means after a while reasonable length of time, this person will be able to let go off feelings. This is light pressure of writing. Heavy pressure means that your emotions will stay with you for a very long time. Is some cases forever with the best will in the world? Even though the actual event may fade from your mind, the effect lingers on, and there's a pressure gauge 3/4 full. This is somebody who you just see by The writing here is very, very heavy pressure. Now you have to write with a ballpoint pen, a pencil or, if you're selling to function pans that works, too, but have felt Panera's Sharpie doesn't show the pressure cause it's always heavy. So don't don't don't gauge it with a Sharpie or felt pen. Always look for the other pen. But if you write like this one on the screen or someone you know writes like this on the screen without using a felt pen, that is very, very heavy pressure and they will hang on to feelings forever. So here we have all three, so you can easily see when they're all together. What the differences. So the top one, they light pressure that personal let go of feelings. Let bygones be bygones pretty fast. The one that the left is moderate pressure that personal after a reasonable length of time , be willing to let things go on the bottom. Water right is very heavy pressure so that personal hang onto feelings forever. They just can't let go. So now you know how to identify how someone will hang on to feelings by looking at the writing. You can look at any writing you confined and see where on the pressure gauge their writing goes, I will tell you a lot about how they respond to various things that happened in their lives . 3. 3: How do you learn and think this looks at your thinking processes? Are you as analytical, investigative or accurate relative in the way you find things out? Aval isco means that you sort through information using only what you consider valid on worthwhile. And we've got the funnel as that graphic. And it's very suited because the right that's in handwriting analytical shows in V formations at the baseline and a funnel is a V formation. So I still always think of analytical as a funnel it funnel. See information through it at only lets a good stuff through so you'll see on the top flying there. There are three examples where the V formation this out to baseline the M. The very first letter is more U shaped formation in the bottom of the end on the same along the bottom line. So this writer has some analytical, but it's not entirely analysts co. However, the deformations sure nicely clearly there, and the formations are analytical, thinking investigative. If that's you, it's not enough just to know that something is so you want to know why and how. Also you'll investigate to find out. So I've got a magnifying glass for investigating on that is shown in inverted upside down V formations on the M. The end on the age We don't have any each year, but it would showing in each if we had one. You Steve, they have a sharp point of top. They don't all the 1st 1 in the M doesn't have it. But any time you see the sharp upside down V, that's investigative. I like to think of it as someone's no sort of poking their way in trying to knows things are trying to find things out. So any time you see the Outside R V formation that's investigative and cumulative or a cumulative thinking is logical. Careful, and you build on your conclusions carefully, not coming to any conclusions at all until you're satisfied you have all the information in place, so the builders walls a good representation of that because you don't leave a hole in the wall. You fill in all the spaces with bricks, so round tops and Eminem Show and H show cumulative are accumulative thinking, and you'll see these examples are really clear. Vory almost flat, rounded tops. This is a very cumulative thinker for ideological they gather all the information together . They fill in the brick wall with all their blocks of information, and they're not satisfied until they've got all the bricks in place. All the blocks of information in place before the move ahead. A variety off the thinking processes indicates that you're good at problem solving, so it's great. Have a mixture because that lets you analyze when you need to analyze, investigate when you to investigate and put it all together, complete without any gaps. 4. 4: do you stick to reality? Or is your imagination an active force in your life? We'll start with abstract imagination. Do you tree mark totally new, innovative ideas? If so, that's abstract imagination on abstract imagination. Shows in upper lips on the letters be half H, k and L. So all upper loops except T and D because they have different meanings. Here's one with restricted abstract imagination. You'll see the H, the F two or three h is on the F. They none of them have looks, so that is very restricted. Here's one where there are moderate loops that are looks there. They're not huge, but there are loops. There's to bees indefinite age with decided loop. So that's moderate abstract imagination. This person can dream up some ideas, and here is really strong abstract imagination. Look at the size of those loops are huge again. If there were on the tea or D's, it wouldn't count. But these ones are on H is. I think we're all on inches, so that's abstract imagination. Very, very strong. Then onto material imagination. Can you take an idea, yours or someone else's on Adapt it or make it work material imagination shows in lower loops on F G y and J A. P A cure. Don't show imagination. So that's you taking an idea and making it work. It can be your idea or anybody else's. There's one with restricted or lack of imagination. Material. Imagination. There are no loops on the bottom. It always just straight lines. Going down on you'll notice is the abstract imagination. Either there is a one l there a king and an H, and none of them have looked. So This person has no imagination, really whatsoever. But we're looking right now at the Lord centers on There's no loop, so restricted material imagination. This one has average moderate material imagination the our lips there. But they're not particularly big there no whiter than the rest of the letter. They're not even quite a zweiten as the rest of the letter. So this moderate, they've got some imagination, Yes, but it's not really strong. And here is someone with very, very good material imagination. Look at those huge lower loops, so that person is great on imagination. Taking an idea on making it work Are do you rely on your intuition more than your imagination. Intuition shows in gaps between letters within script, so you can't tell intuition if it's printing. If there's a gap between every single letter that's printing an intuition, you cannot tell whether that person has intuition or not. However, if any of the letters air joined up at all them gaps between the letters, I mean intuition. So this writing is a script and has no gaps whatsoever, so there's no intuition showing there at all. This fighting has some letters joined together, but it also has gaps between a lot of the letters. So everywhere this a gap on the arrows don't point them all. It would just be too cluttered if I did them all. So everywhere there's a gap between letters. Intuition is coming through, so this person is highly intuitive. 5. 5: are you a self starter, or do you need encouragement to get going? Will part is start to par. It's the ability to direct yourself as start off towards your goals. Now I realize that sometimes you talk about willpower is being. If you're on a diet, will power is the ability to stop yourself eating. But willpower is any power over what to do, so it's also the ability to get yourself started. If you have will Park if you could get yourself started. You are, of course, a self starter, and we have a speed limit. So the self start you will get going and go fast. And that shows in T bars is T bar such a heavier than the rest of the writing? And those two T bars are noticeably heavier than anywhere else in the writing. So this writer will one city site to do something. They just get going, and they kept going fast. If you have average ability to get yourself on track, we'll put that at 60 speed limit. The T bars are all the same heaviness as the rest of the writing, so you're kind of in the middle. And if we're thinking of 100 is being a fast speed limit events 60 sort of in the middle. So T bars, which are the same heaviness This arrested the writing someone who has reasonable ability to get going If you could do with someone giving you a push from behind to get you going and you're starting speeds, probably going to be pretty slow. And that shows in T bars that are lighter than the rest of the writing Now the example there is very much lighter than the rest of writing. You won't usually find them quite that light. But any tea bars that are noticeably less heavy than the rest of the writing shows someone who has a hard time getting started. Now. This is not procrastination. Procrastination is a different trait on procrastination means you put off doing something. But just the week will. Part is light T bars means they want to get going, but they just can't quite get themselves going. They really read somewhere to help you get started. So as always, a mixture of the traits just indicates you'll be more self motivated and sometimes rather event others. So if you have 100 on some. If you have really strong T bars and some and 25 on others, it might be an idea to read what you wrote at 100 read what you wrote up 25. Because it could be. It's not always, but it could be that when you're writing the 100 strong T bars, that stuff you're really motivated to get going on when you're writing with a lighter weight T bars a 25 you're just It's not something you're not really as interested in. Maybe you just feel you should be doing it. That doesn't always hold true because that sometimes you're writing about stuff you're not really getting going on. A tall you're just writing fax. But when you write about things you're going to be doing, have a look and check. Are you 25 60 or 100 6. 6: determination, determination and writing means once you've got started that Kay was starting Parr. Once you've got started, how determined are you to keep going until you achieve your goal? So it's the ability to follow through to finish the task it has begun. So do you have a bulldozer type of determination that you will follow through no matter what, you're going to get this done? Or how do you have a pickaxe type, which will get you through most things? That's pretty good. It's not a strongest and build daughter, but most of the time the pickaxe will do the job. Or do you have a feather type of determination that you're liable to give up really, really fast when problems arise? If you're likely to give up, your motto could be when at first you don't succeed, drop it and try something else. This is a feather type off determination. It shows where the Lord extenders on G Y. J and F are very short. You'll see in the top example, it's sort of fades out. The GNN to first Gene engineering is curved and fades out. The 2nd 1 is straight and face out there. Both very short in scrag e, the two G's and the why they don't fade out and they're not curved, but they're very short. So both of these examples show determination there will give up as soon as a little obstacle is happens. It doesn't take much. They may start, are gung ho and ready to get things done. But they'll give up really, really fast if things don't go their way. That that attribute that to a feather. If you have average ability to weather the storm and keep going, then you have the pickaxe type of determination, and that is perfectly adequate for most situations. The pickaxe type of determination beans, your Lord eggs enders on G Y jnf our average length. Now hear it, and in all of determination, it doesn't matter if there are loops are no loops that is absolutely irrelevant to this. All we're looking for is the length off the down stroke. The stroke could was downward. How long is it? That's all we're looking at, and here you'll see the diamond stroke is not that much longer than the height of the lower case letters. It's a little bit, but not much so that is just average ability, average determination, it's They will probably achieve what they're going after, so long as no major obstacles coming their way. But if major obstacles arrive, this person is likely then to give up. When the going gets tough, the tough get going, this supply. See you if you have the bulldozer type off determination and here we have one, a beautiful bulldozer. Example. See these G's This The downward stroke is very, very long. It's also straight. So that's good, too, because a curve means you may take a deter. It may still get there if it's long, but you'll take a deter. The ST one means you go directly from point A to point B to get what you want to get at its long so you're going to keep going. You're not going to give up. Have. Here's another one in James on to Maurin yesterday, so these are very long, straightest, better than curved. So very long straight Lorik Senders on G. Why J and F give the bulldozer the type off determination you will keep going if obstacles occur, you will just build those your way through these obstacles because you are determined you're going to achieve your goal. So a variety of lengths of Lorik senders just means that you will show more determination that sometimes than others. So, which are you? The bulldozer, the pickax, the feather, which is stronger and you're writing on. Look at everyone else's right It you could find and have a look and see for them, too. Here's the example of one that has variation. It's got two very short ones at one average, it doesn't have one really long one, but has got to short on one average. So as you look at the downward strokes and people's writing and the tales that down with G , Y. J and F think of the bulldozer that pickax and the feather and decide which one is that, how are they going to respond where problems come their way? 7. 7: Where is your focus? Do you focus on the big picture? I just miss all the smaller details. Or do you focus on the details on Mr Big picture or are you somewhere in between adjusting your focus as necessary? You can tell all this from the handwriting. Focus shows in handwriting in the size off the writing. The size of the writing indicates the size off what you're focusing upon. I'll use a house as the example off watch. Our hypothetical writer is dealing with the writer who has very small writing shows someone who focuses in on small details. So if they're buying or renting or looking to take a house, this person will most likely spent a lot of time on the smaller things they'll be looking to see if they're attractive light fixtures. Does the faucet leak? Are the baseboards white Enough is looking at all the small things instead of the major things and very little time considering the house as a whole. So that's the detail person that go into a house and they look at all the details. They forget the big, big bit. That's the actual house. They're looking at all the details. This writer runs the risk of buying a house that may have gorgeous light fixtures and faucets that worked perfectly, but he could have a leaky roof, are inconvenient, replace bedrooms or something else wrong with it. We just didn't notice because they were only looking at the small things, all the details in sight. They weren't looking at the big picture. The main structure, for example. Here's the example of someone who tends to focus on the small details and probably Mrs Quite and bits of what is going on in the big picture. See this size of the writing. Notice how small it is, and you'll see. I know on the screen it's not life size, but you'll see us. We come to the other ones. How much bigger there? This is very small writing. Indeed, this person's has to focus in on all the little details on. They just don't notice what else is going on around them and for for thinking about work, about a job, a new accountant, someone who's in I t. A programmer on engineer. Those types of people who have to off necessity focus on small things. They often have that kind of writing someone who's in a job where things were changing all the time. Let's say a receptionist, you know, they've got the foreign ringing people arriving there doing computer work. Ah, lots of different things happening at once. A receptions with that kind of writing would go nuts because they want to focus on one thing, and then something else will be taking their focus away. So with regard to jobs, the size of writing can be very significant. So the small writing is for someone who in a job that requires a lot of focus. The writer with very large writing on the other hands probably won't notice any, like pictures, faucets or baseboards. They'll be more focused on the overall layout of the house, where the house is located with regard to work conveniences, etcetera. So they're looking at the big picture where the problem lies for this writer as that they may check out, check out all the major items. But the minor ones may cause problems or discomfort because they weren't checked out before buying PSA Paving zone with a crack. But the person who looks at only the big picture baby end up with a leaky faucet, the ugly light fixtures etcetera because they're looking at the big one. However again, if we think of work, someone who focuses on the big picture is ideal for the job. As we mentioned before, say a receptionist, because there's lots of different things happening. They don't have to focus on one little thing. They feel Chris, I'll answering the phone and people coming in the door, and they don't really get focused on any one thing at a time. That's the kind of someone with small writing can't do that. Small writing needs to focus on small things, so it not only affects how they buy a house, it affects their whole life. If you think of every area of life this effects, every area will. The only look at the big picture are. Will the check out on leave a small picture, or will they be in the middle and look around both? And thats here's the writing off the big picture person. They're unlikely to focus too much on the smaller things around them now. We saw this example in the last in the last lesson which were doing determination. We don't care about the length of the darl or extenders here, only looking at the size of the writing on that is very large writing. So this person really has a bit of a problem focusing at all. The writer who writes moderately sized writing is probably in the best position of any. They'll notice moderately minor things good in that annual notice, moderately major things good and bad. And because he work in both directions, there also likely to notice any major problems bigger, small and appreciate. Any major pluses. Bake are small, so this this is what adaptable type of writing. So this writer has the best of both worlds, the right in moderately sized writing, and there's the example there. They can give their attention to the big things that could give the retention too little things there right in the middle on this type of person. If we're thinking off work can adapt mawr to the big things or the small things, you will find that at different times you will write in different sizes. If you're concentrating on something, it's perfectly natural for your writing to get smaller, as if you're just scribbling down a noting You're not really concentrating is prayerfully normal for your writing to be bigger, but it's your average writing that we're looking at. So here they are, law together. So you compare. The size is so the small one obviously is very small, and the big one obviously is very pig on the bill. One is the easiest to adapt to anything else. Ultra small writing, writing. It is absolutely tiny that you can hardly see it is tunnel vision that becomes a problem. That person is so focused on so small points that they just can't really operate in the world. And people who have absolutely enormous writing are so unfocused again. It's a problem, so anything that is an extreme becomes a problem. So the middle of the road is the easiest one for anybody to get along with to manage 8. 8: Here's a quick summary of all the traits covered in the course. Number one. Are you cool? How emotionally expressive are you? And here's the gauge. Again, the gauge will show the slant of the writing, and from that you can tell how expressive any writer will be. And here's a pressure gauge. Do you carry a grudge? How long feelings will stay with you? Show it how heavily you press on the paper, and that's whether the feelings were expressed or not. It's how long you'll stay in sight. Higher Ellen. You'll feel them for number three. It won't way. Do you think that acquire information? Are you analytical, investigative or a cumulative? And that shows in V formations upside down reaffirmations. Aunt curves on the tops off EMS and ends. So all three, all three things from that one show in EMS and Ends number four do stick to reality to use imagination on and our intuition so imagination, abstract imagination, upper loops, material imagination, lower loops and intuition was gaps between letters within script number five. Do you have the ability to get started easily on This is all these starting? It says nothing about how you'll keep going. It just Can you get off the starting blocks to do something? And that shows in a T bar that is heavier than the rest off the writing on number six, Do you have the ability to keep on going? One started. So you've gone started, we hope. And now are you going to keep going? That shows in determination, which shows in long lower extenders. So the longer the Lord extenders the mawr injury, the determination the shark to the Lord extenders, the shorter the time the determination will continue. And number seven, where is your focus? Are you a small picture person looking at all the details, or are you a big picture person? Or are you somewhere in the middle? And that shows in the size off the writing? So there, you know how to identify seven different areas of the personality from handwriting. Use the pictures to help cement them in your mind and check out these traits in every piece of handwriting you come across. You'll be amazed at how much better you understand other people just by using these seven trade groupings enjoy 9. 9: So for the course quiz, you'll be showing three different handwriting samples, and your task is to identify which of the traits that you learned about in this course you can see in them, and the answers will come up after each example. So I've got all the graphics down there for you to see, so it will be easy to remember which ones there were. So here comes the first handwriting sample. What can you identify from this writing now? I suggest you pause the video on. Take your times. Have a good look at it because there are seven different groupings you need to identify. Write down your answers on a piece of paper and then go on to the next site and you'll see the answers. So pause a video if you want, so the slant is mildly right hand moderate. It's a PCI colored one again. The pressure, the heaviness on the page is again moderates. It's not really heavy, but it's not really light, either. Thinking processes, it's investigative analytical, so it's got the V formations, the correct way up at the baseline. On the upside down, the inverted V formations at the top, determination Scott Bulldozer Determination. Look at all the lower extenders there all long, and they're all straight, while the one of Zodiac is a straight, but it's definitely long. So very good determination, this personal, just keep going and not give up imagination. They have a material imaginations. So the lower loops taking an idea. They're so someone else's and making it work. And they also have some intuition. If you look at the words services on the first line. Zodiac on the Seconds I Am pendant on DA Complete on the Last life. They all have gaps between letters within script, so there's material imagination, intuition. There is no abstract intuition, abstract imagination, because the only upper loop is on a D. And if you remember, these have a different rule. They don't mean imagination. Then, looking at starting part, he's got 25 100 so both very weak, starting part on very strong. So when you see that in writing, what it means is that when we feel it's important enough, they'll go at it hammer and tongs. But when they're not feeling, is that important, they're liable just not to get going, so they're either really going? Are there not really bothering a tall? On the size of focus is both the big picture and the smaller picture because it's moderate size writing. So both the map on the light fixture. So have a look at that. Check what you've got and on to the next example. 10. 10: so again post a video and have a look. The writing is the one on the top. It's the size it is on the top. I've just made it bigger down below, so you can see it better for the other traits. So look at the top writing for the actual size. So pause a video, have a good look at all seven different groupings and decide what you think it has on. Then go on to the next slide for the answers. So I'm moving on to the next side. No. Okay, so the slant is definite. Left hand slant. So that's holding things back, not expressing their feelings. The pressure is pretty heavy. If you look at the right size of writing the one on the top of small writing, you can tell it's heavy and it looks even heavier when we enlarge it. So heavy pressure. This person will take feelings and hang onto them for a long time, but because of the slant, they won't show them the whole Dement's site, thinking it's the accumulative type of thinking. Look at the tops of the EMS and the ends of I rounded. There are no V formations either upside down or the right way up. So it's only a cumulative thinking in this writing the determination. It is both pickax and feather, so they're all about the same length and they're they're not really short, But they're not long either. They're sort of in between. The effort, unfortunately, is very short, so it's sort of a mixture between pickaxe of a feather imagination. There is very slight intuition, and that's all there is. There are no upper lips, and there's one lower look on the F, but all by itself, it doesn't really mean much. And if you look especially on the enlarged first, so you'll see there are gaps between electric within script. So they have some intuition, but no imagination, really to speak off.
