About This Class

In this class we will learn how place transparent text over an image. The text itself will be fully transparent thus allowing us to see right through it to the image below. However, it will be surrounded by either another image, or a semi-transparent colour background that allows us to see the entire image below the text, but allows us to read the text against a busy background, like a night time cityscape.

The process is sometimes called PunchOut text, or simply Transparent Text.

I believe that there's a creative side in us all. I also believe that you don't need to have an artistic talent in order to create something beautiful. You may wonder at the wide range of subjects I teach, but they are all subjects that I have learnt in order to further enhance my own creative energies in Fused Glass creation, just as you can. Fused Glass is such a beautiful medium to work in, and you can create beautiful pieces from tiny jewellery pieces up to shimmering table ware and more. Check them out and I'm sure you'll be walking away with a masterpiece of your own in no time.
