About This Class
Know How to Handle the Power of Raw Images
Did you know that RAW images have the power to make or break your image? You may not realize it, but what occurs after your photo shoot and before you start up your Photoshop is the most important step in determining your final image quality. This RAW Image Processing class will show you the best techniques to apply to your raw images that will give them that punch they need to stand out from the rest.
Unlike traditional image file types such as JPG or TIF, the RAW file format captures every single detail produced by your DSLR camera. These files can then be manipulated to an extraordinarily high degree, without ever damaging the original. In short, the RAW format provides you with an enormous amount of flexibility. This includes restoring blown out white areas and recovering the darkest sections of an image that would otherwise be lost.
