Project Description

It’s project time!

For your class project, I want you to use the techniques you’ve learnt from the class to draw your own pet portrait using graphite pencil.

I have included a step-by-step project walkthrough of a drawing of a dog as part of the class, so follow along to complete the same project, or you could draw your own pet or even your favourite animal.

Download the reference from Unsplash here: Dog Portrait reference photo.

When you have completed your drawing, take a photo of it, or scan it, and upload it to the project gallery so I can see what you create.

Plus, if you share your project on Instagram too, I’d love it if you could tag me @northhighlandsart, or use hashtag #nhaskillshare so I can see and share your projects.

I can’t wait to see your pet portraits!
