About This Class

This class is intended for intermediate guitar players who have good fret-board knowledge. It will cover 12 Major Pentatonic Scales starting with the key of E. Each lesson is divided into 3 parts, the scale is broken down in modes, moving from one mode to the other and a 3 Octave Scale. These scales are the 1st steps to improvising. I will be adding a 3 part lesson every week. Buy the Complete Book of Pentatonic Scales for Guitar at this link https://www.amazon.com/Remo-Moretto/e/B095MF8QM7?ref_=dbs_p_pbk_r00_abau_000000

1. Major Pentatonic Scales for Guitar Introduction to Lessons: major skills courses. The Horse for intermediate Award. Uh, music, obviously. Idea goes also holding overs for beginners. One begin. Are there other reasons? Play And that's I think that course Do you think this is a major scales were working on me . You still into three separate videos with a five mils of breaking up across the board. It was a major scales 56 times across with have also in the first degree for smaller and we're really down figure. He's the second part of the video will be already putting the skills together from one to the other, get the highest more and then going back. And 1/3 video of the first lesson, of course, will regard the major Moscow three off. So three officers will be covered for starting from either a little strange going up to the front of the IV and then going back to scale There also, these very exercise also only to help word those on the fake rewards for those study those yet, but no, no, no positioning across the fretboard using, um, this is a explanation on the scale itself how it works. Okay. They're obviously excellent skills to start improvised your final scale. Okay, so we're going to see the next video presentation. Anus. It is a start Lessons. 2. E Major Pentatonic Modes 1a : So here you go. Our first major hospital will be the major scale. I said in the introduction, we'll be ready to scale down 55 in this case six times between the operative off the first note. So first way between here so different on the 63 Okay, just have a standard fume is giving you You can't want five. Wasn't border Is that now here knowing with scaling a five note scale which is constructed from the major scale using the 1st 2nd 3rd 5th and six degrees off the major scale? Okay, so it's basically taking with two goals from a major scale. Have those finals for me. As I said in the address, it was a great four. Improvisation started to learn how to improvise. So let's start off with our first will flash up the scales for you Here on the screen. Now Waas, you've taken screenshots. You can also bring it out for yourself. I can't put the b f on the products of the lesson. You should feel kind of, but if you know, way have also Okay, Great. Let's start off with the 1st 1 The first is going to see here. We have four sharp pinky C G. Andy. Okay, four stars. And these signals are old charts. I don't have to. Right next to the notes. And these throughout the whole exercisable apples for for shark. Where you come from, our first positions, This will be a first scale is less now with the 1st 1 Is that the on the six Train zero. What favor on the fourth floor, Like for you. Okay, now what we're gonna do is take the next knows with the F sharp. So that's our second scale there. F sharp this time is that we were still using the same over the start off with different noise. Time F sharp will be in second position. So second fret of the six train. Okay, second position. I mean, my first finger is on the second Fret. That's what the position in this indication off where my first figure is that Roman numbers off the notes. That's not original. And obviously you have a tap in France. Also figuring second three over three. Office three on the fourth Street. That first position. Hey, on the street, there were back position. Okay. Remember probable positions not friends. Position is indicated by what were Your first figure is on guitar. So I say, Second position one for his first figure. Four things in this case. Your first way. First straight back to second position. 63 Okay, This next one was a solo G sharp. Okay, we're in fourth position. So first girl, they won 46 one for the history. 34 straight Won three straight, four on the on. The first string backwards on the fourth. 56 Now will be their second finger. So here was in sixth position. So our first fingers on the six first visit our second fingers on Saturday to or four for four. All the 66 position. First fingers here. This right here. Our second single covers up 2nd 7 Okay, now, our next It was a seizure. So nine friends position first figure four on the 63 on the history. One memory on the fourth string. 13 on Thursday for the second straight first 343 way. Okay. This is also has a minor planets on a scale minor interval between the goals first journals . Right. Okay. It's all the minor C sharp. My We're just all the fifth degree of major scale. You always correct. But I over fish degree of the next position will be 11 position. And here we're doing the operative off the first scale. So we're still trying again, with time is on the 6th 11th position. So second fingers 12 friend for the 4th 34 on the first for one off, 54 to 6. Okay, so they have had all five most busting opposite. Six miles we started off with. Each time we've covered the whole French port with different with. Now the next lesson will regard please together coming up with one and sort of very like this will be coming down okay together and other possible. Highly. Both of the other one. A three off scale. Okay. What is very important is scales here must be studying separately. Then we'll run together. Okay. Changing fingering, for example will be will be here. This is a way to start off with 17 You are back. No, theories are not standard. You could use this ring also and we will using that figure. So when you're working in my position, it's comfortable this way. That thing with With this one here on Easy, what first finger way will be using these first fingering for together? That's next. 3. E Major Pentatonic Modes United 1b : Okay, so here we go. I hope you studied your single positions in the first part of this lesson. The made a single position. Now we're going to put together all across was with down with one up with another one with 12 friend, And then we're gonna go with the first flash music for year. And I said, I'll leave these in pdf format Zip file. Under the projects of this second benefit skill lessons. So you go under the problem lesson, you'll find this also flashing them up. $4 whatever you like. Everybody will have slashed. So let's start off right away. I would start off on these six straight. Okay. So first positions for 414 we're gonna move to second position. One of the first. Okay, Then we go. 41 words. Way back. A position. So first position and went back to the second position. 1/4. 136 seconds. Slide to fourth position for one for the fifth straight. The fourth slight six position. Which is the seven from second figure four and then two. Okay, So six position with the 1st 1 we've got six, but for the second for one on the 3rd 1/4 31 All these 15. But we moved to the seventh position. OK, there were 316 this Because for with our first finger. So that's why I was changed. Fingering here it's moving. Find that help us that we could do it all with the second former. I do everything with leading with first fingers slide. Now the knife was C sharp, which is also my one for one 13 of these Once you re only 3rd 1 for the second. And but on the first with slash. Fret 12 position with one, and we're second. String 31 Position 3 1/3 straight for one on the four. Strength. Okay for one. The fifth straight. That back to the 12. Position. 31 63 Okay, now we're gonna slide back to see Sharp, which is ninth. Fret knife position one for 13 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 1 for the second on the first slide to the seventh. Frank's position with first finger with one free one second straight. One more position. Back for six. Position one for 1/4. Also. Okay, that we're back to the south. Position 31 on the fifth string and three wanting on the six string. OK, slide to fourth position. 14 on the six. Three. 4th 1 Smooth certain for a second, but first we're gonna slide. Second for singer for one full goes for first position. One strain, everyone. Four straight. Okay, second position 31 of us is okay on the six. And then cerebral. Strange. It's E. Just repeat the play it all together, - they have put them all together, these most from one to the other. Obviously, before you do this study, well, the Savior Bowls and I put it together on this video here. I just thought I changed finger ease on a couple of the of the a couple of the bones, but I'm changing figures to because I want to move with my first finger. Okay, I put down. It's still with life with 24 here. I could have done this instead of doing sliding with Sorry here. Way. Fourth year. Nice. I didn't do that. I want to leave with my first finger before finger when you do it fast. If you're not exactly, like, really precise with with your hand position, everything dust, Anyone. Yorkers must be a little bit more with fresh going forward, so it's better to leave for his figure. I before you can choose the way he wants now. Our next lesson won't be putting it all and three off. So the whole scale for your office, I'll explain more. Okay, so let's see the next video. 4. E Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves 1c: here we are with this on football skills on three offers to play for you once. Yeah, just this way. The pain scale is based on fighting. Also said All we're doing all the time is moving those five notes across the board. We're still the same five. Most were just started off with C Sharp. So in reality was the nation was dying with the chef. So it's considered that my also has a minor in trouble. But what we're really doing is we're just moving around. ALS. All the more reason. That's the whole idea. What I just did with three off now is playing the same positions, moving from E T. T across the fretboard without stopping positions. But I could stop at any one of those positions on play. The older start with the skin off zero straight, but 13 is on second position. Still, second fret 1 3/5 Street. One is the second position slide. 4th 1st 1 force of history that off for spring 16 position wanting in four straight form. Then Thursday. Yeah, nice position. One on the first full three, his second straight ninth position. It was like 12 friend three while Well, back three one second straight slide 91 free first rate. One like six. Position. OK, on the four straight at this light before one again for one of the first slide. Second position. Okay, straight. Three. Did any point off that scale there and just play first? - Finally . Any 0.3 office. Okay, so I have a complete vision of Major. Okay? Not remember I said eat me even though. Here. Wait the c sharp minor. It's also, but it's also a major. All we're really doing is sharing around the same will start off with different on the major three. Office scale is pretty Them all together in three officers on from E t e. Okay, I stop off in any positions too. Our next lesson. No, we continue on this lesson will be made of the same thing We're breaking out of. The holes were put together molds and with three office castle have three lessons for every scale. So I won't put the lessons up right away is recording. See you version of lessons. This is the first. We'll be back about a week for the next lesson. Always courses. Now Here's I don't read music. It is very easy to learn if you have so we'll see you in the next No. 5. F Major Pentatonic Modes 2a : This is the F major scale. Remember, publish these scales. So that is with one a week of these three lessons every week with the added on to this class. So you're starting. I was with the next. Okay, get as much as possible. Hopefully do it in less than six weeks, ready to lessons always put in there every week you fall, but I'm just really time to study them. So you know you once a week. It's OK trying get there as fast as possible on this course. Now the flash in front with music. So here is with moles. We have single moles we had all together we have six more. But in reality, when we have finals plus one, which is the office of the first more OK, that's because we're gonna be using standard fingering after from now on. Yes, May's if you're full of this, lest you should say have sharp keys. Okay, so we're in F Major now. Okay, We have a B flat in G, even though in this Keller is no b flat were still playing in the major usually have to indicate that our major scale F major pentatonic scale is taken from the major scale. The major's 1st 2nd 3rd 5th and sixth. No, I indicated in the majors moving everything up 1/2. Okay, So basically, your fingers will be all the senators have for your first read, because off the the open strings. Okay, so let's start right away with on the 63 1st position. My first thing is on the first Fracked. So six string. First position one on the 5th 03 on the 4th 4th then have 0 to 1/3. 13 and one of the first backwards. 306 Okay. No, it was big alternating pig down. Not always starting now. For those of you using Vicks, this is what movement favors you in this mill. That's right. Little rain or something. That's just not myself anyway. What everyone? She was with figures. I'm going with big ears with the next one. Third position was with G so sick strange their position for his finger. 13 13 on the 51 3 on fourth and have one for on the third. But I moved the second position back to fifth, third position now and one for the second And then on the first back for on second and second position, one all the third. About 1/3 position. 31 on the 4th 31 on the fifth. Everyone on six. Okay, this one, that's one. So, number three. There we go. Fifth position. Starting with a first finger. One for 61 for 13 of the 4th 13 on the 3rd 4 on the 2nd 1 of the first. 423 1/3 3 1/4 for one on the fifth For 16 Uh, Now move, Teoh. See, we saw a threat with the second finger Where sad position First finger will be covering the seventh. Fret, starting with the second finger. All 16. A friend. 24 Okay, 14 on the fourth. For the second to first. Know about what is four to second feel? Want one on the fourth before And Ford, you on six. I could play this started way, but it's stuck in position. I will move my okay, De 10th position. Okay, so we're gonna be V with our first finger. OK? On the safe Strength have one for 151 3 on the 4th 13 all the 3rd 14 of the 2nd 1 on the first, backwards for one second, three 31 on the fourth. OK, one way. So this is also the minor pentatonic setting the major before this is all the seats in this case, the team liner pen. It's on because of a minor injury with first vegetables. They call also my And as I explained before, yes, it's called Yes, I'm also going fifth degree of the major. Oh, we're really putting yet is taking the same five notes starting over the different each time. Okay, so we're gonna put this all together as you could use it, major or minor time. In the same way at this point is what we're really doing is just playing the same thing over and over again. Next will be half again D and half, which is mine, Hafiz. Now, with so B 12 position, I had my second finger on the 30 friends off to off the six string. Have won for the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the 2nd 1 First when I was 4 to 2nd 31 on the third or fourth four. Yeah, way Using that figure is not standard. We will be using that. Everyone will be two or three scales together. 11 position is comfortable using figuring another. When you're you could use a safety. There is little that, but we will be I really with first finger after I explain that. 6. F Major Pentatonic Modes United Across the Fret Board 2b Small: Okay. The next part of this lesson, of course, were to start off. I said before, with for help you shape, we're gonna put together all this those moles that before it was degree that would call like moles. Is that this definition When we take a different motives, time from the same scales molded. And that's what we're going so more degrees when you were starting off with one hold coming back up with the other so that start off right away Here, flash music in front of you, the screenshots. Remember, even go to the project part of this class and you'll find this on the download. Also download the major 11 files off patient give you are one final major or the F major This in this case now, if you have followed the image of blast off keys so hopefully I have enough space to upload all probe love keys, But anyway, we'll see when we get not just the screen is what So six great first position that 50 03 four straight 03 that we have our first exit to now. On second, I have one slide to third position with one And then I have four. Still in the second. Straight. Okay. And then one of the 1st 3 Three position right for one for one second position. Okay, so we'll move out. Second position on the street. Third position. 31 Now it's like fifth position for his finger and have four for three. Fourth, 1 3/3 to our second slide position. That's the A threat. Second finger. But my first friends Copper 77 position to get here for on the second string. And then two is going to be on my first string at 42 for the 4th 3 One of the on the fifth straight. So I moved forward to the eighth position years. 331 off six straight. So 53 16334 The first slide now. Okay, so it's like the the D years were 10. Position 14 of 61 3 on 51 3 on the 4th 13 off 1/3 1 for on the 2nd 1 on the first. Okay, dear, I just like to eat after sorry from me and decide which is all the 13 friend with my first finger for a string. OK, so 30 position. They want some 30. I'm gonna move 12 on the third string three. Okay, Off position. Right For Okay for one again and back. 33 1 This because I was back here de with my first finger on four. Again. 13 What? 1313 141 Now what happens on this slide here to the eighth position. So we're on scene now. A 31 Okay. Next 17 Position for one strain Have won four straight back to the A position. 31 on the fifth straight on 31 on the six drinks, I end up with one. That's what I was saying before And the other video. No moving Jane. Fifth positions with the aim. My first finger was basically my first finger in the movements. 4614 The three off the fourth for the second and got the first slide here to G with her position with my first for one of the 1st 2nd position. Back 31 Position used 31 of the four straight history on sixth grade. It's like the first position. Just repeat for skill. Finish three positions. Three on 54th 0 1/3 131 on the first level. Backwards 31 2nd frieze. 56. - There you go. Well, together. You have music with you, you know, giving screen before you almost have tapped there. Have fingering with knowledge of the positions written with growing numbers of the notes. Everything is there to help to play. And you have this video you show anyway, So everything you need to learn at scale across the front on a more formal process at work . This is, uh, we'll just jump right to the next lesson. See there. 7. F Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves 2c : Okay, So how are you? Start off with the major. Three operatives were back here again for you gave you see the speech or go to the project Page 11 of all three lessons regarding the there for either way. Take it there. And the start offering away will play it for you one time made across the board. So that means from to have. And then Okay, that's what it is, you know. Please start. First finger. First fret six string one position slacked in third position with first. What? Three? Well, the system that one of their strengths. Four years old. History. Four thing. First finger. Like so the fourth finger here on the same stretch. First with one slight position. Strange that Secretary. First finger slide. 30 friend off. Second screen first raising strangeness. Remember, I have seen no. Three. It really is from on that one. So one of the first string 13 meses to it. There are also two games played, so there's an obvious there is a high school back. So we're on one of the other two. Frets for strain. Seconds. 31 slides, 10 position with 131 were striking position on the third straight in a 414 straight slide to fifth position. Okay, one on the fifth string slide position, half major scale, three office. Yeah, we had, like, any one of those moles that we didn't breathe this lesson on his position. That we are way so way, right? I I have those positions. Yes. Yeah. I'm just one way of moving from one you find okay. Both of work is practicing and studying. Don't just learn one thing for one way to put it. Once you learn it and you know the nose, start looking for wisdom around from one to the other that is in place. That's exercising. And that's how you study. Because not because it's not just a little one way. One way is your starting points. You sit down and work with it. So what? You get recorded three or four way and that's how you learn to use that skill. Skill progression. This is the basis of Started to improvise. The first thing we're already other than the native because, of course is also a time scales. So that's it will see you next season. That will be of course, G the F sharp major. So the same thing we working off, he's okay. This class is only 8. F# Major Pentatonic Modes 3A: welcome back is next lesson with the F sharp major moles so into most Okay, it was a different style is a continuation of that The moles united So moving from one to the other way 61st position. OK, six Sharps G. Now what are you here? Was second finger all the same. Strength 24614 on the fourth floor is going to be on the first thing to four to first position. We're happy, obviously. In defense, of course. Figures Office off for a second Sharp. Four positions now. So let's start off with what? 3613 53 4th That would go back. One freshly to third position. One more on the third back. 4th 1 friend, fourth position on the second. Okay. You want for here? Also first, that was 4141 30. Get in for position after the 4th 1 31 Also everyone on the same play that for you always. Max 1/6 position with a sharp for the first figures will six positions. It's strange. First finger One for four, 3/4 32 4 on the 2nd 1 on fifth. Okay, this is the first words 444 We ate position, starting off with second fingers on the nine threats. Never second finger. Okay, Before for the history. 14 on the fourth string 14 34. The first was for 1442 on the fifth for you on the six. So it's gonna be the 11th position with our first fingers. 11. Friend Also position for spring for six straight. One for six more, three on three on the 4th 1/3 1 for a second on the first, when that was 31314141 On these things, this is also has a minor pentatonic. Explain that before I called the 50 years of age you is correct was about signals just being is no as my never mind, Changeable said. It's also the history of the major 50. We'll see you. We'll be putting them all together 9. F# Major Penatonic Scale Modes United: Okay, so let's start putting all these, uh, pulls together. To four on, then to on the first for straight on for two. 1/3 for 1/4 for 231 on the other 50. We moved to the 10th position on 31 on the move with figures. So what happens was Okay, now slides that promises to be the first slide. A little 12. Okay, there. First finger. This might want one for 16. 12 13 of the 51 3 before 13 on the 3rd 14 seconds and one on the first. And we're going to slide back to the 10th position with one. Okay? For a string. OK, 31 on the the one on the second. Um, all right. And we have 41 on the third string 414 straight, Going back to the 10th position. So we slipped a night. That was nine. Position before. 1 1/3 and the fourth string way position. We're back in that position. 31 off history. All six straight. Now it's gonna happen from a six string with a slide back with me, which is our seven was a jury 14141313 to 4 on bomb first. Okay, My name to strengthen. That's where this one street my screen with I said That's a serious is. Always knows on extreme was flying to the fifth with first paper. OK, and ready to go for one on the second string. Ok, so with a years old a first string OK, now for one second straight on, then have four on four story but we moved to the fourth position. Never go back to 31 on the fifth position of four String a 31 So history Okay, that we're slide with 12 second position that's being over there and have 41 of the six that brings us with the first morning. It's right that we're going down with first bowl two for 4 51 for fourth, 13 other, third to four, right. And so now I could I could like 13 wants they want. Okay, we're 20 The string over on first position and the 30 to 0 to zero 2030 Okay. And then here on the the So I'm gonna play this off, OK? - Or I was the first was in Spain, and this next video we put together how it will be a different way all in one scale, you may feel three office. Plus, we're basically the same thing. 13. G Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves +: Okay. Area again for flash up for you. So here we have G major pentatonic three Office Plus Plus, because we're the fifth degree or fifth mold. What? Lower Also. So we have to two moles regarding the minor. Okay, B 12 position. First position was open space. Okay, Okay, Now start off with it right away. G first finger, third position. OK, slide the fifth position with for stringing them. Play free on sisters. Let's all just for position, position, finger, first finger on the fifth string. OK? Still sad position with first finger, but more of this right now. Well, I know On four string slide, climb to the ninth position. Okay, Four. Okay, I have one on the third string were slack glove. Okay with three. So solve their spring. Right? Want On the second second string. Ok, well, friend, slide 15th fret and we play three their second straight, and then I want the first. Okay, now what's gonna happen? Go. Were so three while the second and slide 12 1 on the second. Still 31 Officer a slide. 1/4 as slide. Seventh position for one on the fifth slide in the fifth position for strengthened position Three. Okay. 31 on the six string. OK, slide Instance the position. Okay, now we're not finished. Do the first for itself. Have freeing in. Okay, 16 never ended. Second position 14 on the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 All these 13 on the 3rd 13 On second, we moved to third position. Okay. On one. Okay. On the first strength when their position 31 Like you didn't off about. Who's anything here? Go back open. Strain zero zero on four. Straight to zero on the fishery. And 30 on the six string. There we will. But again, that way. 303 16. That zero to on a string. 02 on the four straight. Zero to on the third string. 01 on the second string. Moving my hand position. Did zero, my friend. 13 seconds. One. So then we go back 31 2nd and built a second position on the third string. Who won again? Okay, More for one on the fifth. And then 31 on six. Why everyone? Not to four. Because skeleton wants. Right. So I basically sure what I just did not weigh. Wait, Did the three office forward? We came back. We had that little park back. Okay, A little. Just just going back and forth and bring us back to the third. Fret off. 16 for strangers. Lay off one time, so to start. Slowly. Way, Theo. I should have it back. Do you have you true? There also this to show you how you get more out of this with with I have always been saying we always do any more in anyone else. Twice scale example. First way you have those singles morals we've put together from more, more, Ramon. And we're going to be another also in three off the scale. So because this is Josh Scale is just say we're coming up plus scale is just completing what you just learned. We're always and I say, this is every video off these skills, always repeating the same five notes over and organised differently side. But we're always big. The same rules. That is the idea. We're doing the G major pentatonic scale then said the fifth degree of if more is called minor give this case will be called the minor Pentatonic is considered. Also, remember what you're really doing, what you are. You realize what you're doing is you're starting with G Major marathon starting off with E . Okay, it calling my thought because it's not a minor angel, obviously, are my using my structure. But because the rest of the G eight specials that's the whole idea, you're using the same five notes over and over. We'll see him in the next video. We'll be doing the flat. Take it. 14. The Ab Major Pentatonic Modes 5A: and welcome back. This is the a flat major pentatonic molds. Where a flat major. Four flats. B e a deer flats. Okay, we're starting off in third position. First finger's gonna be covering the third fret, but we're starting off with the second finger on the six string. So that's the fourth fret. So for I would have won for the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the third. Have to four on the second and two on the first. Then we'll go back for two seconds. 31 Okay, on the 3rd 1 is going to be on the 4th 1 on the 5th 4 to on the sixth. I'll play for you way directly to the six position, right? Yeah. Six position were to start off with one free. The 6313 on the fifth, Free on the fourth. Move to fifth position. Have won four on the third that we're back to six. Position on the 2nd 14 again and then one of the first. So then we go back for one on the second. Still 4 1/3 when we moved back one position, so we'll move into fifth position. They have 31 on the fourth, but we've moved back into fifth position as expositions. Are that 31 on the fifth string and one of the six. They play that for you. Now we're moving to a position. Okay, so this is our third mold. Eighth position was done off. See, First finger is gonna be 14 on the six. Four on the fifth. What? Three on the 4th 13 on the third to four. On the 2nd 1 on the first, they're gonna have four to all. The second going backwards. 31 of the third. Full 31 on the fourth. Okay, then what happened on the fifth floor? One on the six. I'll play that for you. Okay. All right. Next will be in a tough position. Okay, We're starting off with the second finger. Sweets could be the 11th friends. We'll start off with 24 to four on the fifth, then would have one form on the 4th 14 is going to be on the third story to floor is on the second at two is on the first. We'll go back for to second for one on the 3rd 1 on the fourth before, too. The fifth and four to on the sixth. I'll play it for you. Now, This one here is one of those that when we go put them all together will change a little. Fingers would be like 131314141131 way. Don't do that when we're sitting in the position will do with the foot with the with the two Because we're remaining this if you remain in position, but using two. But anyway, like I said, the finger is are optional, as I always said, so you can always just use whatever figuring is comfortable for you as long as a pathological new movements. This is what you have to learn. Okay? Logical movements all the time are next. Um, I will be moved in to first position. So instead of doing it here in 13th will be doing it in first. Okay, Now, this is our minor pentatonic. Okay, that's going to start off with F first position. We have won 43 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 14 on the 2nd 1 on the first and 41 of the 2nd 31 of the third, every one off the 43 on the fifth at four. On the safe. Do that. Okay, so as you see the fingers, the figures that we're using are always the same finger rings. So I'm always giving you basically the same fingers in different keys. Obviously, we're going up on the fretboard over doing someone being behind us and some in front of us . So the further up you go, the more will have behind us. And remember that off the opt if you could always restart. But we're not. You don't have to. What is important is that you've got these figures down and you start putting them all together. We'll see you in the next lesson for the the flat major pentatonic moles united. That means putting them together, going up with thing 15. The Ab Major Pentatonic Scale Modes United 5B: Okay, so we're going to start off right away on the 6 3/3 position. Second fingers left the fourth fret whether the A flat major pentatonic scale United. So we're putting them all together. Number from one to the other. Start off the second finger. Six drinks off. Third fret. Third positions are and that's the fourth. Fret. So to four 14 other 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on 3rd 13 on the second. But we moved to fourth position and one on the first life in sixth position with the first plate of force. And for one, we're gonna have it on the second for one on the third, but move into fifth position. We're gonna move back to 4th 6 positions 31 on the 4th 3 Run on the fifth at 31 on the six that would slide to the eighth position. Okay, 14 on the 614 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 2 on the second slide to the 10th position. But that's the 11th from the second. Okay, but we're 10th position to four and then to on the first. Then we're gonna go back on the second floor too. Okay. They would have 41 on the 3rd 1 on the fourth. 31 is going to be the fifth. So we've gotten toe. 11th position would win 31 Not for two. Okay. On 31 on the six strings. Like back to the eighth position. 1414 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 24 of a 2nd 1 on the fifth of other first rate . Okay, Let it slide to the six position game with your first finger. And for one of the 2nd 5th position. For one of the first, we will back one. Fret that would back forward again. One friend. 31 on the 431 on the fifth. Not here with the slide to third position. With the first thing you're playing it, of course. And then 42 on the six. So we're back at the starting point. So four. Okay, so we've played. The two were played for again. 14 on the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 is going to be the third that 13 on the second with the fourth position. One on the first slide. The first position with 141 on the 2nd 31 on the third. That would have 31 on the 4th 31 on the fifth and 41 on the six. Now we're gonna do that again, going downwards. I'm gonna go back to the other one. So four. Right? So we've already played once in 413 on the 5th 13 on the fourth, monthly on the 3rd 1 on the first slide to the fourth position with first finger on three. Then. And then one and 31 Go back. One fragile third position. Everyone on the third for one of the fourth. For one on the fifth, back to the 31 So we're back to fourth position on the six string instead of staying on to for you to forward using 13 because we're moving around with once. It makes it a little bit easier for us to move around that I am going to start this with to remember. Okay, So start played all over for you. I'm starting with two. Theo, There you go. they put them all together, not they. Just to give an example. After we've done it all together. Here on the in a position 14141313 Then choose two. We slid, right. We could avoid sliding with 2 to 4 and then one slide into 11th position with one. And that 31 31 And therefore one going back. One Fred to the 10th on the third string. Okay, so that would be another way of moving around. But this is for you to do at home to experiment with these, taking two at a time and putting them together in different ways. As long as you have a logical movement in what you're doing. Don't jump around. Make it nice and smooth on each movement. Okay? We'll see you at the three active scale lesson. Right? Next. Right. Next video. Take care 16. The Ab Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves + 5C: Okay, so we're ready to take off with the A flat major pentatonic, three octaves scale. That means we're putting basically the same moral together. What we're doing only And three officers. The a flat major pentatonic scale where you can stop off at any point and do the molds. I flashed up the music before you think your screenshots or download the pdf in the with the broader section. Let's start off right away. We're gonna be four. Threat this type fourth position, this time with our first finger. Okay, I'm gonna go one on the 16 1 to the sixth. A position and three. OK, there we have one on the fifth straight. Slides the position. And before 114 right and one on the fourth string slide attack position. Okay. And four against 114 again and on the third string one, slide to the 30th fret and free 113 year. Then on the second string, where the first finger slide to the 60. Okay, on then with three again. 113 and we have one on the first. Go 31 slide back to the 13th. Okay. Then 31 year slide back to the 10th. Okay. Then we're gonna have three for one now has, like, back to the eighth position. OK, then we're for one of the fifth. Okay, slide to the six. Position 31 on the for on the six. And slightly to the fourth position. But we're not finished here. We're gonna continue three, and we're gonna go back to the third position. 14 on the fifth straight, 14 on the 4th 13 on the third, there were 13 on the second because we moved back to the fourth position and then one. Now we're gonna basically the same thing we did was done over here on the second string, 31 on that slide one. Okay. Here. Whatever. May still free one on the 3rd 3 won all the 43 run on the fifth, and then we'll have before one on the six. Now, we could just end it here with one, but we're gonna go back up again because you have to remember these movements of 14 1313 of the 413 All the 3rd 1 Slide to the fourth position with your first finger on the second straight. And then with the one, of course on then three and then one on the first, they would have 31 on the second string, OK, and then we're gonna go 31 on the third string. But we moved back to the third position for one on the fourth string for one on the fifth, and we're back 1/4 position 31 So you have this right thing. We're doing that movement instead with a to four because it permits us to write. Get a nice, smooth movement one back and forth. So I just played all for you thing. As you see, the further we start moving up on the net, we have more on the back. But we're always maintained that state movements of its A three octave plus scale. Now it's not just three often anymore. You can move from one to the other. Okay, So give you the position for the molds. Also used the weather positions top. You have the more there, but it's a major pentatonic scale. Three doctors, the whole idea. We're always doing the same. Five notes turned around over and over again. So doing the three officers started with a flat and finishing with a flat and coming back and going backwards and coming back again. We're just repeating the same nose and different octaves. Okay, that's the whole idea of what you're doing with this type of scales. You're always repeating the same knows whether you do with the wards or whether you're doing the better tonic. Major Benetton scale three octaves. Everything is referred to the major pentatonic scale. It's all our fifth degree of the major pentatonic scale is also called the minor pentatonic . Okay, which would be the sixth finger she of the majors get any Forget what? That does not get into that. It's a minor pentatonic, but it's also the major pentatonic Starting off with the with different. No, that's the whole idea. Okay, we'll see you in the next video. That will be the a major were just repeating. Remember, we're gonna get through 12 keys on these and obviously further up you go, the more we'll have you back. Ok, actually, that's video Digger 17. The A major Pentatonic Modes 6A: Welcome back. Well, proceeding with our pentatonic scales. Major pentatonic scale molds. Today we're working on the A major pentatonic modes. Okay, once again, the finger rings are basically standard that I've given you up until now that you can learn . We're just moving them up on the fretboard. Obviously, we're, um, free the part of the back. So we have open string. Fingering is also to do so. Let's start off with the the major pentatonic scale. Okay to optimise mold. One call this Okay, Degree one. Whatever you wanna call it was don't often. Fourth position, we have three sharps and key is taken from the A major scale. The first, the second, the third, the fifth and sixth degree of the major scale. Okay, I want to start off with the second finger. Okay. So forth position with my first fingers on the fourth, friends covered four. Threat second finger is on the fifth fret. So if I start off with 24 off the 614 on the 51 4 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the second and two on the first syllable back for two on the 2nd 31 Right on the 3rd 1 on the 4th 1 on the 54 to the sixth. Just play that for you. Next notice. Be so you see it with your four. Figure their first figure, this or in seventh position. Now we're starting off with our first finger on where have won three of the six 13 on the 5th 13 on the fourth. Then we're gonna go back to six. Position on the third and one for back to the seventh position on the 2nd 14 and then one of the first. Well, backwards for one. Back to six. Position of the 3rd 1 Back to the Sabbath. Position on the 4313 Other 53 1 on the way. Oh, no. Our next goal is here, which is C sharp. Okay, so we're gonna move here with our first finger. So we're now on in ninth position on. We're gonna have won four of the six. Okay, 14 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the 2nd 1 on the first. And then we're gonna go back for two on the second. Okay, I have 31 on the third. Sorry. 31 on the 4th 1 off the 5th 41 on the 60 play that next is R E not see what four finger here were to go into a lab position. So that's going to play with our second finger on the 12 France. Okay, so we're in 11th position, have four okay to four on the fifth, One for the 4th 14 off the third to four on the second, and two on the first. Then we're back. 42 on the second. Okay, that one on the third full on on the fourth for two other 54 2 on the six. Not we could do that with one instead of 241313 So, B 12 position, then to the 11th 414 And then 131 Well, as I always said when were stable in one position, we're gonna use this fingering way around. This may be better off Is that the idea is always knowing Mawr fingering for what you are doing. Okay, All the time. Now our next one, it's f sharp. This will be our F sharp, minor pentatonic scale. Okay, now the whole idea, instead of doing it over here, we played it over here because we're going behind the neck office behind the first note that we started off on the six string. So have sharpens. We're always using a six string has a Z first position, so as the starting point. Okay, so here we have the second position. First finger, one more. 13 on the 5th 1 suite on the fourth, three on the 3rd 14 on the 2nd 1 on the first and 41 on the 2nd 31 other 33. We're gonna have it on the 431 on the 5th 1 on the six. Play that for you. Our next More. That is the E one often lower. So what way? Obviously, different figures have open strength. So 02 on the six. Four on the 5th 4 other 4th 2 on the 3rd 02 on the 2nd 0 on the first. That 20 on the second to the third for two on the fourth. Okay, We're gonna have more to zero on the fifth. So 06 played again and on. And that is our separate molds that would be doing for this. This part of the major battle? Well, next part of this last sentence will be putting them all together. And then 1/3 part, of course, is the A major pendant hung three officers. Okay, so we'll see you on the next lesson. 18. The A Major Pentatonic Modes United 6B: Okay, now we're putting them together. Thean major pentatonic. So we're going to unite them all together. These these moles. So we're start off again. Fourth position. Second figure six. Strange. So that's gonna be on the fifth strap. Okay, for one for the 5th 1 for on the 4th 13 on the third. Then we're gonna move up one free on the Sackets. Work in fifth position one on the first were to slide to the seventh. Fracked Okay, with your first finger. Here, play it. Okay. Before one on the second, for one thing, But we moved to the sixth position. Move back to the Sabbath. 31 on the 431 on the 5th 3 on the six. Them were to slide to the ninth position on where to go one. I was playing that one for 14 again on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the third than to slide to 11 position with the two on the second string and then four and then two on the first strength. Of course, we're in last position with two is on the 12 front. Right, then floor, too. Okay, They're gonna have 41 for one on the fourth. There were 31 on the on the fifth straight. Okay, but we moved to 12. Position at 31 on the 12 eso 12 position with the six string and would have slide back to the ninth with one playing it before again 14 again on the 15th. 13 They have won three other father third to four on the on the 2nd 1 On the first, we're gonna slide to the Sabbath position, OK? And we're gonna have 41 on the on these second string for one on the third. Also. What? We've moved to six. Position back to the sabotage. 31 on the four on four straight 31 of the faith that we're going to slide in fourth position with the first record play it and then four do on the six straight Now were to repeat the first degree. The first mold for 44113 Sorry, That 1 3/5 position. Where 4th 1 more better fits with 131 with our first finger. Okay. And then we're gonna sly to the second position with our first finger. for one on the second strain on 31 on the 3rd 31431 of the 5th 41 on the six. That open zero. Move my hand. Second position. Zero to write that, we're gonna have 02 for that to four again on the fourth. There. Have zero moved. Hand to the second position. 14 Okay, one. And there were to go back up with the minor pentatonic. Here. They're sharp. Myers for one second straight. 31 on the 33. 1431 on the 5th 41 on the six. Now, we could just simply slide with a first finger here. 1314 against one. Bring on this the fifth. Fret on 14 of the six. Or start with four here. Okay? On the six string, playing one on the fifth year in second position and then slide into fourth position. First finger while you're playing. And obviously you played 141413 to 4 to You're not gonna move to 13 to get his put back up for 214 Play it all for you thing . And there you go. Just the A major heart molds. I'll keep repeating this every every time we talk about the major marathons and this open this whole class, all we're doing is moving those five notes in across the fretboard, using starting out with a different each time. So even if this one is called a minor F sharp, minor cuts on it. We could also call it the fifth degree, the fifth degree off the A major pentatonic, which is the sixth degree of the image of scale. If I, if I count the reason, the major skill but where the major pentatonic holding a flag knows that that's the fifth degree, because we will have that if I start off with my fourth figure. No way. And sharp minor pentatonic is also the fifth degree of hate major. So we're really doing is just doing repeating the same notes of the eight major pants and we're just moving them around, around around. We'll see you in the next class for the the A major pentatonic three octave plus Okay, 19. The A Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves +: Okay, so now we're gonna do the A major pentatonic three operatives. Okay, so basically e three office plus the back part also behind a So start off the 55th position for his finger won six straight. One 3113 So we sleep the 73 That one was, like 29141 and 11 with the one on four straight. Now for one of the third. And we're gonna slide to the 43 one off the second, then we're gonna Okay, so look where I am here now. On the 17th. Fred. OK, 31 Okay, so now we go backwards. 31 back to the 13. Front of the second string side. 40 friends. Okay, The 31 on the third. Back to 11 for one on the fourth, back to the ninth for one on the fifth, back to the seventh. Give 31 on the on the six. And that Back to the fifth position. OK, with our first finger. That three again. Then we're gonna go 14 So we moved to the fourth position on the on the fifth string 14 on the fourth string 13 on the third string 13 on the second string. So we moved back to fifth position. Okay, that one on the first at 31 on the second. Slide to second position 33140 Okay, that one for 13123131 of the second slide to the fifth position with one free. And then one of the first at 31 on the second and the 31 off the third string. But going to fourth position one on the E four string. Ok, then we're gonna have 31 again. So I throw one again on the fifth string of that. Everyone on the six. So this time I finished with one. I don't have t e o feel comfortable just moving around. So going around with the molds that way. So I could this scale your where I stop off, I'm gonna have a more So I just played one time for you. - And wherever I stop off, I have more. Practicing is useful of busy because muscle memory, but stopping off in each position and running over the old every time I try to scale. So I recommend that you do that run over each more than do the scale and run over rich. More on that movement there also. So you have another way of putting back together the molds also at the end. That's all it is. You're just moving the same five notes over and over and over against basically showing you two different ways of doing the same things that one with the most like we did before from one multi other, this one going straight through the scale. But remember, you stop off at any point and one of the moments, okay? Just as long as you remember the fingers of the most as you saw when I did hear what happened myself after this is my promise to come out. I can't keep my thumb over here. Describe. It would be too much strain on us. You're gonna have toe way. So when I moved to the 14th position, the woman I was smooth The woman that moves to the 14th position I take up with some. I did that while I'm sliding and I underneath my something's up four like, Okay, work on the scales and we see the next lashing, which would be the B flat major pentatonic. Okay, take care 20. The Bb major pentatonic Scale Modes 7A: and welcome back. This is the B flat. Major pentatonic scale molds molds me that we're taking the same scale. But we're starting off with different notice time so you can call degrees moles, whatever you like. What's important is understanding what we're doing here. We're breaking up the scale five times and we're starting off with a different notice type . So B flat major scale is two flats in keys or B flat. Major pentatonic has two flats. Keys will be flattered. Flat. Um, what is important to know that B flat major, but it's on a scale has been taken from the B flat major skills of 1st 2nd 3rd 5th at the six degree of the major scale. Okay, we're gonna start off right away in fifth position. The six string. So my first fingers, Good friend. We're not gonna stop first. Start off with the second finger. So it's six. Right? Okay. We have to four on the six. Write one for the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 4 off the second, and two on the 1st 42 of the 2nd 3 1/3 for one on the fourth for the fifth and for two on the sixth. I'll play that for you. Okay, Now move your next 1/7 eighths or eighth position. OK, we're stuff. So a position first finger would have won three on the 63 off the 5th 13 on the floor. I'm gonna have 14 on the third, but we've moved back to seventh position with that. Now, with the second string, we go back to the eighth position and play 14 again. Then have one of the first. Then we'll go back to the second string. Full one, back to the third straight Moved seven. Position for one. Back to the 433 1/7. But with eighth position now. Okay? And three run on the 5th 31 off. The with six. Now, let's just put it together. Play for you. Okay? Next one starts on the 10th position, where with our first finger and salt on the 10 frets off position. Friends have our 14 on the six 14 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 on the third to four. On the 2nd 1 on the first, we're going back for two on the 2nd 31 on the 3rd 31 on the fourth. That, for one is going to be our fifth at 41 on our six. I'll play that for you. Our next one would be here in 12 position, starting off with their second finger. But we're not gonna do it here because we're gonna go to our first position. Use the open strings to play. You could do it there, too. Also do that. But we're not gonna do that. He would do it here. Okay, first position using the open strings. We're just going to the five moles. Like I said after the 12 fret from the 12 everything repeats so that this will be repeated , but with with the other figuring that we've done in the other scales, that was two for two for 11 for before, too. Right here. Ystad in first position. Have three on the six 13 on the 5th 0 bring on the 4th 03 on the 3rd 13 on the 2nd 1 on the first. Go free on the second straight. Okay, 30 on 33 0 on the 431 on the fifth straight at 31 on the six string. So I play that for you. Way quickly to our next positions of third position. Gino Here, face of third position. This will be our G minor pentatonic scale. We're calling it the fifth degree or fifth mode of the B flat major pentatonic scale. Okay, So safe they it means the same thing we're using. The same knows we call it also minor pentatonic. Because of the minor interval between the 1st 2 notes. I it's it's okay, but if I like to make it will reflect that what we're doing It was just moved moving the same notes around and around and around, starting over the different audience time. Okay, so 14 So third position. 6314 Okay, One full. 13 story on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 off the 3rd 14 on the 2nd 1 on the first. We'll go back for one on the 2nd 31 on the 3rd 31 On the 431 of the 54 1 on the six. I'll play that for you, as I will say if instead of starting with my first finger on the six string with the same fingers I started with My fourth wait we're always doing is we're just moving from a position to another starting over the different No, they're called moles that called degrees. Whatever you want to call them important is what you What's important to understand that what we're doing is just moving these notes around and around, repeating this for all the other last. I'll say it again and again and again. What's important to study them in your cheese? We'll see you in the next part of this last said. We'll put these molds together. So you're like, OK, so B flat, Major pentatonic scale United five moles. You okay? See you next lesson. 21. The Bb Major Pentatonic Scale Modes United 7B: Okay, so let's start off right away with the B flat. Major molds United, start off fifth position. Second fingers. That's the sixth fret 24 of the six straight. Okay, 14 on the 5th 1 for off the 4th 13 on the third. OK, then we're gonna go 13 on the second. So we moved it to the six position and then one, and we're gonna slight to eight with her first to the eighth position. And they have 41 on the second or backwards, But we're gonna go for one on the third. But we've moved to Sabbath position, moving back to eight on the 431 So we moved back to the physician 31 on the fifth at 31 on the six with a slide to 10. 10th position 1 4/10 position is Also fret because your first finger is okay. 144 on the fifth. And we have 13 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the second. Okay. And then one on the first. We're going to slide backwards to the eighth position with one. Have 41 on the second string and 41 on the third, but moving to seven position moved back to the eighth position. Everyone on the fourth, 31 of the fifth. And we're going to slide the fifth position with the first finger. Play it and then 42 on the six. Okay, now we're gonna repeat the first degree. The first moments will be flat Major pentatonic to for we don't have to repeat. But it was 414 Okay, on the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the third. Then we're gonna have 13 on the second. Moved. Moving to the six position at one on the first straight with a slight with third position with our first finger. Played for one on the second string. That 31 on the 3rd 31 on the fourth, they would have 31 on the 54 1 on the six slide to the first position that played 13 on the first of six straight, 13 On the fifth string 03 on the 4th 03 on the 3rd 1 fool 13 on the 2nd 1 on the first slide back to third position play it have one on the 2nd 31 on the 3rd 1 on the 43 run on the fifth, that 41 on the sick. Now I could slide with one on the six and going to the set to the six from six straight from the third. Threat to the six for X 13 and then go back position with one four. Or I could just do this plate the next note. So for war on the six string on the third position one. Then slide fifth position one again and play it on four. Okay, then we have 14 on the 4th 13 on the third and then we don't have to move here. So for the 2nd 2 on the first, go back for two seconds. 31 on the 3rd 1 on the 4th 1 of the 54 to 6. I said, We don't have to move. Remember if I had said from the third from the six string we have slid directly to the sixth position. I would want three for staying with before to without once but anyways. Either way, like I said, figuring their personal if you want to just learn one fingering. I've always had learned several types of figuring for the scales. At least two of them. Because it helps you when your plane. So when you're playing in one position, I'm just coming down with four fingers the other way. I'm moving my hands using for figured out with my hand back and forth, Right? So when I don't need to do that, I won't do that. I try to stay. Stand still. Okay. We'll see you with the next. I'm sorry I have to play this for you before I say we see you in the next lesson. Applicable scale for the whole off fighting most together. United. Okay, okay. Thing No, we put the more they gather, I played it for you. Um, when the next one is off course, the B flat, major pentatonic scale. Three operatives were just starting off with our first finger moving around from But what we could stop off in any position of that scale there and do the bulls that we just didn't . Now it's a different finger. Doesn't start off with. Two will be starting off with one and moving forward with what? But at the end. We're having the same. We're getting into the same positions where we could stop off anyone. Any one of those positions. So it's the three octave plus because we're gonna have him in the back part of the neck to work over. So we're gonna go +543 office, come back and then go back a little bit and then come back again. B flat. So it was here, the next lesson. 22. The Bb Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves +: - Welcome back. That's the B flat major pentatonic scale three office plus. So we went up three doctors, we came back, and then we did a little bit of part of that backwards and came back to the starting points . All this is just in the gate that we those five notes are put together in three office. I can stop off at any point of that scale and do one of the most that we have learned before. So this is another way of moving around on the They get our this type, starting off with our first finger at the end, that's all. You have to really understand how to use your different different finger rings to move around on the guitar, to perform the same scale, to perform the same improvisation, using moving around on the neck ports of having those five golds changed from one point. Just five notes just started again, with each buy expensive here in this case here, of course, we're doing B flat to be flat, to be fun, to be flat and then back again before we went to F on the first position and then remember all the way back to the flight again. Okay. Okay. So this time we're going to start off with our first finger on these six. Strange. But on the six Frank. Okay, so six position. So, aside from sex to the pain, I have three. And on the fifth straight have 114 or so from the eighth with a slack to the 10th. And then before down and on the fifth. String one, slide to the 12 1 before again. Okay, then on the third string. OK, one with a slide to the 15th position. OK, three. Okay, so 31131 of the second would have 18th position 3113 on then, blonde, which is B flat. Right backwards. 31 15. Position 31 12. Positions with straight. Okay. Before 1/10 position, that's a four string. Okay, for one on the fifth straight and sliding the a position. That's one. Okay, so that's that. We have 31 on the six string slide, this six position. Then we're gonna repeat the first degree. So the first mold 1 3/5 position. One for this. The fifth string. Ok, Fifth position History four on the fourth straight. Three off third, going back to the Sabbath position. We're gonna have won three. Okay. Satisfied with six. Position on seventh. And then why? On the first straight. And I was a second street about 31 stable. What? We didn't We hear that? The top. We're gonna go back. OK, so we're both 31 Want to the third position? Okay, that 31 on the third string over string were at first position. 30 OK, then. 31 on the history of everyone on the 63 back. Forward threes. All six once the fifth. Carol three on the fourth, 01 on the search strings. We're moving to third position three. OK, we'll have one on the second straight. Slide to the six. Position. 13 and then one on the first. Straight. 31 on the second string. 31 on the third. But we moved back to fifth position. The 4th 5th and then 31 All the six back. This exposition. Okay, so how they played it before I play again for you. - One thing I'd like to remind you when we here what happens here thing. All right. The same movement we're just We're three doctors, Lord. Okay, that's about it for the scale, as you see where we're adding three officers here, but we're also adding a couple officers in the back, so that s o B 55 officers, Plus, But anyway, with the three officers for that's just to demonstrate how you doing world using the same freedom is at that point, we're gonna have a little bit of figuring change in the C Major Benetton for the three octaves up there, then from C sharp on there won't we won't be able to complete a three octave total brothers . We don't have any more friends here, and we're just out the back. So this is basically this is fretboard knowledge of how to move around on these moles that we've done up until now. Okay, we're almost there, Rose at the end of the 12 here. So if you were to go, what's important is you study the more you get to know how to move around from one from one position to the other or the three off the scales. We just showed you We'll see you in the next Last one will be the be major. Take 23. The B Major Pentatonic Modes 8A: and welcome back, Andre More. And this is the beat. Major pentatonic scale. Time moles. Sorry. Okay. Banzai. Skilled. Broken down into five moles, five degrees called. Whatever you like. Be major scale. Major key has five Sharps f c G d and A Now where it will be major. But of course, we're only using five notes of the major skills. 1st 2nd 3rd 5th with six The greed of the scale. So be C Sharp D sharp after and g sharp. Okay, now start off. Starting off right away. We're gonna be in sixth position. We start off with 24 on the six string. So six positions to seven from to write who form 14 on the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the 2nd 2 on the first, Backwards for two on the second, 3 1/3 41431 on the fifth for two on the sex play that for you. Now we're gonna move T o c sharp. Okay, so we're gonna be here on the A nine threats. Okay? I'm going to start off with the first figure. So nine threat ninth position. First finger 13 of six on three. The 5th 13 on the fourth and we will eighth position on the 3rd 14 on. We're back tonight. Position on the 2nd 1 for one. Okay. Then work backwards for one second with 41 of the other. But we moved to a position. Everyone on the fourth, back into the ninth. Positions one, the 1501 of the six. Play that for you. Next. No d Sharp. We're gonna move to the 11th position with our first fingers. 11th position for his finger. Also 11. France. What's going 14 on the 614 on the 5th 13 on the 4th 13 of the third to four off the 2nd 1 on the 1st 42 on the 2nd 3 1/3 3 fourth for one on the fifth floor on the sixth. Please get our next no is f sharp, but first position start for their second finger. OK, that's could be a to force or second fret second finger to for six straight before 51 4 on the fourth floor on the 3rd 4 on the second and on the first, I were to go back for two on the 2nd 1/3 1 fourth or two on the fifth. And for two of the six I'll play that for you. We're gonna move to the fourth to the last note. The fourth, France, that's G sharp is also known as the G Sharp Minor Bennett on it. Okay, we're gonna be calling at the 55th mold off the B major pentatonic. OK, It's the same thing. Same name, same thing, just a different way of calling the same. Okay, we're going to start off with the 14 of the six pixel four threat. I would have won three of the same three on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 14 on the 2nd 1 of the first. Well, backwards one on the 3rd 3 on the fourth. And then we have 31 on the fifth floor on six. Play that for you, and that's it. That are five moles and be major pentatonic scales. Don't find most of the major pentatonic. Remember, we're using a standard fingering for the single positions I'm showing you. But you could always start off with one like that. of sharpest that's over to you. Start in second position with 113 months first back to back and three. That would be. That's what's gonna happen next one. We put them together. Use that fingering their when we're stayed in the position and we're working to that position. We used one type of figuring instead of were hand around like that's That's why using two fingers. So I'm showing. Obviously we're always saying more, you know, with finger rings and more. You know the nose the easier it is to play in and to improvise with the scales. Okay, see the next lesson to the major Benetton moves united. 24. The B Major Pentatonic Modes United 8B: Okay, let's start putting these skills together. These most together center. We're still started off on the six position with our second finger and were to be playing 246 Spring home case six position, second figure. That's a seven French for 14 51 4 The 4th 13 on the third. Nowhere to move to the seventh position. 13 Again. Okay. And then one on the first. And we're gonna slide to the ninth position of it with one and played, of course. And 41 on the second. We removed back once for frets. So a position for one on the third. Then we're gonna go to the four to get to the 8th 9th position. So 31 on the 431 on the 53 1 on the six. And we're going to slide to 11th position with her first. Play it on for more okay than 14 again on the fifth. 13 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the fifth. Okay, then one, we're gonna be played that on the 1st 50 to 4 on the 2nd 1 is gonna be on the 3rd 1st I want to play another first. Okay, Then we're gonna slide back, okay? To the ninth position with one and play it. And then we'll go for one second for one of the third week to a position that we're gonna have 31 on the 4th 31 on the fifth of Brokenness. Slide to seventh position. Okay, So play one and then finish it with four, and then to the sixth. Okay, so we sleep. Then we're gonna continue this again, going the first position first. More again for we're not gonna repeat what is good for 14 1 4/4 13 on the 3rd 13 on the second. Moving to seven. Position one. The first we're gonna slide to fourth position. Play that note. Okay, that's too short. That played for one on the 2nd 31 on the third, every one on the 431 on the fifth. Okay. And then we'll have 41 on the six and slide to second position. 13 on the 613 on the fifth. Go to first position for and one for the third also, and go back to second position. once Lee on the second friend. Okay, that one on the first string would slide to the fourth position. OK, again. And we'll go for one of the 2nd 31 on the 3rd 31 on the 431 on the fifth. On that floor. 16 Play four again. That one on the fifth and slide six position with one plate, of course. And then four on the fifth string. Ok, 114 again. Okay, 13 on the third and then to four on the second and two on the first before to the 2nd 1/3 for one of the 4th 1 of the 50. And for two of the six, I would play for you all together. - That's it we put together. You have the music. You can download the information part of this of this of this video of this course. Okay, just 12 you'll find all the doubles you can do there. It's all written down in music and taps. As you see when we're moving around, I'm using different figuring is right. Sometimes here with before. I didn't want one because I move from one. There are various ways that you can study to move around. I've been saying this up until now. I'll say it again. Study even by yourself. Find other fingering for yourself. Like starting with two. Like this one here with trying around with to see what you can do with that. I prefer using the one, but there are other ways I do use them. It's not just one way of playing. Okay, we'll see you in the next last, and that will be be major pentatonic scale. Three off. There's plus Okay, so we're putting all these most together, one scam have Major. But that's what basically played the same skill over and over again. We'll see the next lesson. 25. The B major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves + 8C: - That was the be major pentatonic scale. Three office placidly with three optics for we came back a couple of walkers also. Okay, No one a couple of observations. Um, the idea, obviously here is just putting all these most that we've done together in one scale, and you could stop off anywhere on that scale there. Now, here you've noticed I started with one or two. I could work out a fingering for you to not gonna do that. I prefer using it with the one. I liked it that way, but like I said, experiment people whose stretchy I like sliding my hand rather than sweet stretches. It all depends on the size of your hand, Kale. So and I say prefer with using always covering four France and not having to do this branching with my forefinger on my first finger. There are types of ways of doing that was stretching. Okay, so, uh, you'll find that that type of fingering, even people use that type of finger, But I prefer using this. Start off right away. Okay. We're going to start off with our first finger on the seventh fret of the six string case. Instead of over the second stop there. First. Slights. The knife one. Okay, three. So 113 on the six way Have fifth string. Would have won slightly elaborate for four on the fifth. Okay. From the knife with 11. Okay, then on the 4th 1 way, slide to the 13th 1 before again. And on the third string one slight. 16th. 13 Okay, we're gonna have one on the second straight with a slight to the 19th. 13 That one of the first. That's our reactors. Okay, then we go by three, one one. So back to the 63 1 Back to the 13th. Okay, That would have 411 back to the 11th for one one. Back to the night. Sorry. That would have 311 back to the Sabbath. Never go three again. They were to go to the sixth fret of the fistic 1414 on the 4th 13 on the third. That would have won three on the second, but we moved back to seventh position. Okay, one. So what happened down here? 19 is gonna happen over here on the Sabbath. We have 31 slash two The 4th 131 It's like the 1st 1 24 the six right? So that would have four again to 451 for the 4th 1 want. So we slipped forth again on the third 31 slide, the seventh on the second and 3131 on the 2nd 31 on the football. We moved to six position for 1/4 or one of the fifth at 31 of the six months of the seventh position. I'll play that off slowly, - and that's your be major items on three office, plus all three office up there and talk a little bit more on the bottom here. OK, so it's basically five officers, plus a little bit more now recovering five marked results. Got three on this front to back, plus a little bit. A couple of also reacted. Plus is a that is skip the originals, canceling three off scale. We're adding also the back as we can ignore that. Okay. And as you saw what I did over here, I did over here also when I was going backwards. So it's basically the same movements and every time you had on the neck in the back. So you're always started the same way I'm joined. One way you could find other ways of moving around on the from one position to the other, doing the whole three office. And Bassel, that's up to you to study that first ones I'm giving you. Then you can experiment. It's always nice to do that. Okay, We'll see you the next lesson. That will be the C C major penalty box. That's gonna be a little bit changing in the front. Okay, Take care. We'll see the next lesson. 26. C Major Pentatoni Scale Modes 9A: and welcome back. This is the scene. Major pentatonic scale, broken down modes. Uh, C Major says it all. Nothing in Kino flats. No Sharps, okay? It's taken with Pentatonix have made up. Antarctica is taken from the first, the second, the third, the fifth and the sixth degree of the major kid scale. See, e g and, uh Okay. Okay. So, 1st 2nd 3rd 15 6 Now we'll start off right away. We're gonna have off six string seventh positions. Eighth frat, second finger. Seven. Position is my first finger is on the seventh. Fret second figures, but the case was starting with a second figure. So still for okay on the six train. Then we have one Thor on the fifth straight, 14 on the four straight, three on the third to four on the second, Sue on the first. Well, backwards for two on the 2nd 3 Third, fourth before one on the fifth. And then we'll have for two on the sixth. Okay, so let's play it. Let's move on to the next one. Okay, so we've got C d. Now with our first finger. So the 10th fret. Okay? And we'll start with 13 on the 613 with 13 on the fourth, we're gonna pull back one fret. So, my friend 14 on the third, back to the 10th fret one four on the second and then one on the first. We go backwards for one second for one of the third Double back, one friends, a life position back to the 10th position. Have 3 1/4 everyone fifth and 31 all the sixth. Play that for you. Now we're gonna move T e 12 fret 12. Position for his finger. OK, 14 of the six. Okay. 14 on the fifth for three on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the second and one on the first. Backwards for two. Okay, on the 2nd 31 on the third, free one of the fourth for one of the fifth and one on the safe side. Play that for you. Wear the same scale here, but we're gonna do it in first position. So we're gonna move back to the first position and use the open straight to create the same scale off the obviously adoptive lower. But we have that position when were played. All Socialists Look at that. B 03 on the 60 K 03 on the 5th 02 on the 4th 02 on the 3rd 13 is going to be the second and zero on the first of backwards free one on the 2nd 2 0/3 20 on the 4th 30 on the 53 0 on the sixth. I'll play that for you. So our next one will start off with G. We're gonna be second position to start off with the second figures. What's on the third? Fret on the six string have to for fifth straight to 414 on the 4th 14 30 to four on the second to the first. Then we'll go backwards for two on the second for one on the third foot on the fourth for two on the fifth, at 42 on the six. Play that for you and our final more of the C major pentatonic scale is also known as the A . Maybe a minor pentatonic. Okay, but we'll call it the fifth degree of the C major pentatonic 15. Okay, we're gonna start with our first finger, fifth position on the A with first figure and 14 of the 613 is going to be the 5th 13 will be the 4th 13 is on the 3rd 14 of the 2nd 1 The first stumbled backwards for one on the 2nd 1 33 bundle 431 on the fifth and 41 on the six. Play it the way most broken down on the C major. Okay, and now all we have to do is start putting together some going from one to the other, like we've done with the other ones previously. So if this is the first time you're watching, you're just watching this one. Go watch the other ones first. I have to learn them all. It's 12 different keys that will be playing. That's 12 scales broken down into most has you see the figuring basically remain always the same. Except maybe when we use the first position with the open street fingering. So instead of maybe five moles have a six more because we have on October of one of the most repeated on the first position. Okay, we'll see in the next booth 27. C Major Pentatonic Scale Modes United 9B: Okay, lets start off putting them together. The seat major pentatonic moments across the fretboard where your night ones we just did before in the previous lesson. He was part of this lesson, I should say, because this is a three part lesson broken. This lesson broke it down into three parts. Okay, so let's start off here again. So we're gonna start off seventh position six string with our second fingers were the eighth fret, and we're gonna go to four on the six. Have 14 on the 5th 4 on the 4th 3 on the 3rd 1 free on the second straight, moving into eighth position with our first finger. Okay, so fret that one on the 1st 3 that would have slide to the 10th position. Okay? With the first figure played, of course. And for one second for one is going to be on the third Street. But we moved back to the ninth position. Know where to go back to the task. 31 on the 43 on the fifth and 31 on the sixth. That were the slide 12 position with our first finger. Okay, play everyone for Okay, then 14 again on the 5th 13 on the floor. Thor three is going to be on the third to four is on the second string. OK, then we have one on the first string with a slide back to the 10th position one. Okay, a little backwards. Okay, for one on the second for one on the third, but moving to the ninth position back to the 10th. Position. 31 Okay, on the for 31 is going to be on the fifth, and we're gonna slide to seventh position with one and playing on, then four to on the sixth. Okay, so on the fifth, we have that slot that we're gonna put it together, going down against a two for 14 of the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 13 Moving to the eighth position with the second string. OK, then one on the first. Now we're gonna slide to the fifth position, okay? With our first finger, play it for one on the second. Then we have 31 on the 3rd 31 on the 4th 3 is going to be the fifth, and then we have 41 on the six. So that was my thought. Right? Or the fifth degree he makes. Okay. Slide to the third position with our first finger. Play it. Three. Gay. 13 on the fifth. Old social on the 613 Other 5th 1314 off the four string. But we moved to second position. 14 on the third. Back to third. Position three. Okay, now we're gonna have the open of the E. Okay. Straight move. Hadn't first position. Okay, then. 31 on the 2nd 0 off the 3rd 0 on the fourth, three zero on the 5th 30 on the six. Okay, then we're gonna go back to the third position with our first finger. 1313 on 5th 14 on the fourth. But we've moved a second position, four on the third that we're back to third position. Then we're gonna have one on the first string and slight positional. Play it. Okay. And then we have 41 on the 2nd 31 33 1 on the 4th 31 of the fifth at four. Run on the sixth. There wouldn't play four again on the 61 again on the fifth and slide the seventh position . Plate one for war on the fifth. Still. Okay, 14 on the 4th 13 on the third to four on the second. And two on the first. Okay, then we go back for 42 Okay. Then we're gonna have 3 1/3 one on the 4th 1 Gotta have it on the fifth. Okay. 42 on the sex. So we've finished where we started now, played all 41 time, - and they say you put them together. That's for this Last we were doing it in three officers. Plus, So the scale see, May have been on that scale three often. We went forward backward and plus the back part also. So three octave plus game. Okay, we're basically doing the mold still, but just put it all together in the same in the same skill. Just to show you that we are always playing those notes over at Oregon. 28. C Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves + 9C: - Hello . And this is the third part of the C major pentatonic scale. This is a C major Pentatonix, go three octaves plus. Okay, So what we're really doing is we're always going through those molds. But we're just putting out together in one scale now so you can stop off at any point that I just played and performed one of those polls that even before degrees, most call it whatever you want. I got the most. Let's start off. Okay, so we're going to start off with our first finger on the eighth, fret with a slide, right? Playing and slide right with death, right? Three. I just saw the sixth straight. Okay, then would have won all the fifth string side to 12. Fret. And I have four OK, on a shoestring That wanna on the fourth with a slight to the 14. 18 Fred. Okay. They would have four and one on the third and slide to the 17 3 Sorry, a 17 threat and play with third old social. 1314 Ok. And 14 on that one for the 2nd 1 For on the first. Now going backwards. Right? So we don't repeat before was the one on the 1st 41 on the second. We have 31 on the third, and we're going to slide back to the 41 OK, for one on the fourth. Slide back to 12 for one on the fifth. Okay, slide back to the right. 31 on the six. That slide back to the eighth. Okay. They would have free again. Number seven. Position 14 on the 5th 14 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 1 Start with three on the second, and then one on the first. Okay, then 31 2nd slide with position. Okay, free one on the third. Okay, a slight to the second position. So from the fifth, we're going on the second floor. One string and bring your hand to the first position. 30 on the 53 0 on the sex. And three, we have Jeffrey zero. That would have three again. Okay. All the six and three on the fifth. Okay. Zero on the fourth, But we moved to second position. Four, Still on the force. Spread that one on the third slide. Okay, wait. Three. Then one second slide to the 8th 3 That one on the first. OK, go free one again. 2nd 31 on the third, but were moved to seven. Physician. Okay, okay. On the fourth for one on the fifth. And then we're gonna have 31 again on the six. But we moved to the A position. OK? I'll play it one more time for you all together. Okay? Now, if you've noticed that we've got down here, so I just get there a second. We didn't continue sliding. I use a different finger this time compared to the ones before this. Give the other skills before this would finish with the second finger, right? With first start now afraid with their fourth. This is all because of the France. I can't go further if I do it the other way around. Well, I won't have any more fresh to finish it. Something with people over the fretboard. So we have to change the fingering so we can adapt it to get that last note. Now some people have less press tonight us. Some of my students don't have the same my friends, so they have to use this fingering even on the on the B that we did before the major pentatonic. So this is all depends on the friends that have you doing an electric guitar. You should have sufficient arrested with the way I'm doing it on this guitar here. Otherwise you're gonna have to adapt your finger rings to the type of friends that you have . You have to change them. Okay, remember that I do it the other way around. Show you here. I don't have a friend anymore. I have this friend here, but I don't have this friend here, so I can't do it that way. So I have to put that there 14 and not finished with one. Okay, this is all because you know, you know you your positions and you can fix your scales. Okay? There will be one scale that we won't be able to complete. The three operatives appear. That's the last one with the shark or the e flat e flat. It's going that way, but we will have more back here. So at the end, we were recovering the whole fretboard with this type of gale doing it this way. Three other coming forward and back, just showing you how you can play and move around on all the friends that you have a disposition using those same notes that stuff like that and we'll see you in the next lesson it would be. 29. The Db Major Pentatonic Scale Modes 10A: and welcome back. And this will be the D flat major pentatonic scale in mold form. So we're getting the flat major pentatonic scale. We're breaking up in molds fighting. It's OK, we've done this up until now. We're almost at the end now. There's gonna be a D after this and then the e flat, and then we're finished with this part, this course here. So, uh, we've covered all recovering all 12 keys, which is fundamental to learn playing golf keys. That's why we're learning the scales, right? That's the first. The first part of an improvisation is toe learn more around the fretboard in a decent way. Okay, so let's start off. So we're gonna be blowing D flat, which is also see Sharp will be done in D flat. Okay, six train, eighth position. Okay, Second fingers, less than ninth. Fret. Okay. And we're stuff. Second finger. Okay. So, to four on the six train there would have won four on the fifth, 14 on the 4th 13 on the 3rd 4 on the second, and two on the first. Go back for two of a 2nd 31 is going to be on the third. Okay, food 1/4 1 of the four to on the safe. So let's play that our necks will be on in the 11th position, OK? No, this will be the e flat and we're gonna start off with 1 11 position for his figure. That's a lot of friends. That's going 13 on the 613 on the 5th 13 fours that would have won four on the third. But we moved 10th position. We're gonna move back to a level position on the 2nd 14 again on one on the first. Go back for one second for one on the third. But we moved back. Until that position, I would go back to tax position. I would go back to 11. Position 31 431 on the fifth and 31 on the six. I'll play that. Our next will be the F bots. We're not gonna play it over here. We're gonna play in first position. OK, so it's 1/3 mode in first position and have 14 on the six four on the fifth, 13 on the 4th 1 3/3 for the 2nd 1 on the first that I have for two off the second. Okay. 3 1/3 1 on the fourth, full 54 6 I'll play that. Wait, wait. OK, start with tools. Away in third position. Second finger. Six for six strings off with four frat with the second finger. Okay, for then we have 24 again. Fifth, they have won four on the 4th 1 for on the third to four off the second and soon on the first, Backwards four to second for one on the third floor running the fourth before two of the fifth. And forward to the six. Play that, then we're gonna have to be flat on the sixth position. Okay? First finger is your minor pentatonic scale. And they said what? We're calling it the fifth more of the major pentatonic scale. So let's start off one for okay. They have on the 6th 1 free on 51 3 or 4th 1/3 14 off the 2nd 1 will be on the first backwards for one of the second. Very 1/3. Everyone on the fourth. Okay. 31 on the fifth. Okay. For one on the sixth. Let's play that and that's it. Those are the moments that's the D flat. Major pentatonic scale, broken down molds. Okay, we'll go right next to the next video. Now, I learned how to put them together across the fretboard like we've done with the other videos. Okay, so we'll see you in a way. 30. The Db Major Pentatonic Scale Modes United 10B: Okay, Welcome back. And now we're going to continue with the B flat. Major Benetton Moses put them all together, Okay? Moving from one to the other. So let's start off right away. We're gonna go to the a threat. Okay? A position. Ninth fret with her second finger. So eighth position is that first fingers there? Hanley Threat. So a knife, frank second finger to for that would have gone for the fifth. One form of the 4th 13 on the third to ninth fret ninth position with our first finger on the second string into 13 again. And then one on the first we're gonna slide to the 11th position with our first finger play itself 11 threat for his finger That would have four want on the second string. Okay, for one of the third street. What? We moved to task position. OK, we're gonna move back to the 11th position to 31 Okay. Remember, more moving positions will be the first finger to the 11th position, not the third. Okay, 3131 on the facial, 31 was up 431 of the fifth. We're gonna slide back into a position on the fifth string. OK, Playing. Of course. 4 to 6. Play floor again on one floor on the 5th 1 form on the 4th 13 on the third. Moved to ninth position 13 of a second. Okay, then one on the first string and slides to sixth position with the first ring. Play it And then 41 on the 2nd 31 on the third. Okay, three is going to be the fourth. Have 31 also on the fifth. And that. We're gonna have throw one on the sixth. Okay? Straight with slide to fourth position with our first finger playing one free. Okay. One thing. And on the fifth were move to third position for on the 4th 1 for third, back to fourth position 13 on the second, and then one on the first slide to the first position. Okay, first finger. Okay, They have 42 on the second string. 31 all the the third straight. 314 ST for one on the fifth and four on the six. Now we're going to slide back to fourth position 13 with first finger with Slade. Okay, One free on the fifth. Go to four. Third position for the fourth. Straight. Okay, 14 on the third string. Moved back to fourth position 13 on the second string. When I play gone on the first slide six position and play it first. Okay, they have 41 on the second. 31 is going to be on the 3rd 31 on the 431 on the fifth and 41 on the sixth. We're gonna play four again on the sixth. Okay, that one on the fifth. And slide the collision with our first finger. Play it and then have from, or all the fifth string Still okay, that have won 314 on the fourth string. They have one free all the third string and they have to four on the second story. This time. When it happens, we'll finish it and to on the first string. So we remain in position. Remember that. We didn't have to move it up. 42 on the 2nd 31 on the third way. Have 34 1/4 for one on the fifth and four to on the sixth. Now play for you, Theo. - That's it. We put them together on this scale. Here, we've got two more skills to go. But in the meantime, we still have to do the three officers of the Deflect Three office plus of the D flat Major pentatonic scale. So we'll see you in the next video. 31. The Db Major Pentatonic Scale 3 Octaves +: - Theo . Welcome back. This is the third part of the flat major pentatonic scale. This time is a three octave plus I just performing for you. So what were just doing is taking those moles and just doing one scale up and down across the fretboard war. We can stop off on any note that I've played on perform one of those molds that we have done before. Okay, we're going to start off on the ninth position of the Six Straits of Nine friend with our first finger played and slide to the 11. Okay, then we're gonna have three. We're gonna play one on the fifth straight, slide to the 13th and play for also won on the fourth string and slide 15. Play for one on the third string. And I were slight 18. OK, and play three also. Then we have won four of the 2nd 1 four on the first. Okay, then we'll backwards. 14131 Okay, now we're gonna slide from 80 to 50. Okay? What with one? Of course, Were 41 and okay, slide here to the 13th. Okay. On the fourth string. OK, that would have 41 here. Okay, slide to the 11th. They have 31 on the sixth. Okay, slide to the ninth and have okay. Three on. Go to the eighth, friend. 14 on the 5th 14 on the fourth. 13 on the six 103rd. Ok, then we're gonna go to the ninth, fret here and do 13 on the second street and one on the first. Then go back to the 2nd 3 wine and slide to the sixth position with our first finger. 31 on the third. Slide to the third position. Okay. With the first thing before Bun with the fourth. Like to the first position on 41 of the 54 on the stakes, They will have 414 on the 5th 1 here on the fourth. String of slides into third position with four, then. Okay, One slide in the sixth position. Three. One of the second street. Slide to ninth. Position three one. Then we'll have 31 on the 2nd 31 on the third, but moving back to the eighth position. Okay, that one on the fourth for one on the fifth. And then back to the night was going 31 So we've completed it. A play it once for you. But Theo, that's it. We are three octave plus d flat, major pentatonic scale. As I said, stop off in any one of those positions that you're moving through and perform one of those molds that we have studied. Okay, so we've covered the whole fretboard with these scales. That's the whole idea. Governable, Frank, We're not what we did. The e. We only covered the 1st 12 but we could repeat the same movements here as long as we have friends. That's the whole idea that more friends in the end, some guitarist have more friends than others. So you have to work a little bit off fingers at the end of the year. But everything else is the same. So we've just got to more lessons to go, obviously to lessen broken down into three parts, as we've done up until now, eso we've got the d major pentatonic and then the e flat major went up and then we finished this course here and you've completed your Benetton and scale course across the fretboard. You have to study them. It becomes daily practice every day just to sit down and do your skills. Okay, so we'll see you in the next lesson. Take care and have a great day, Week night. Whatever it is for you, take care. 32. The D Major Pentatonic Scale Modes 11A: and welcome back. This is going to be the D major pentatonic scale. Most of the major Tosco broken down modes. We're gonna start off on the six string second finger, but we're gonna be in a nice position. OK, So I think our first finger will be on the ninth. Fret in a second finger will be on the bathroom. So we're starting with the second finger when I have so for four on the fifth. 24614 on the fifth, 14 on the 4th 13 of the third to four on the second and two off first. Then we'll go back for two on the 2nd 31 on the 1st 3rd story for 1/4 1 on the 54 2 on the six. Play that for you directly to 12. Position with our first finger. This will be our second mode. OK, so it's starting with e 12. Fret. First finger 13 on the six. Train 13 on the fifth string three on the fourth and 14 on this, sir. But we've moved into 11th position or go back T 12 position of the second with four and then one on the first string, then 41 off. Second strength. Get back to 11th position for one on the third string back to 12. Position three on the four straight. 31 on the fifth string on 31 on the six train. I'll play that for you. Okay, Now we're gonna move here to first position. Do the exact same scale, but with open strings. Okay, so the exact same old second more with the open strings. Six string open. The second figure on the six train. Fifth straight, Second finger off four string open, second finger on the fourth. And then there was a girl fourth. OK, then we're gonna have the second finger on the 3rd 2nd string open figure on the second and first back since spring finger, third string. Same finger forced with full fingered. Four straight. Saying finger for string or amended. Okay, we have the 52nd finger fist, A 62nd finger on the six string open. I'll play that for you. Our next moda starts with our first finger in second position of the six drinks. So on the second fret with our first finger. Okay, then what? I play. This will be the 3rd 1 OK, because we just played two versions of the second more one on the 12th fret and wanted open position on the first fret first position story. Now we're gonna have first finger finger on the six string that first of four money Fist 313 on the 4th 13 of the third to four on the 2nd 1 on the first. We'll go back for a second, fourth for one of the fifth. For one of the six. I will play that way. Slide with first to the fifth position and we will be playing with our first figure again. Six string, one for 13 Then we're gonna have 13 on the fifth straight and then we go to fourth position , one form on the fourth string, okay, for the third string will back to fifth position one thing and that one first. That will be the with 31 on the second again for one officer. But we go back to fourth position, one of the fourth, back to fifth position on the fifth straight free one and then 63 1 Play that for you, our final minor pentatonic. Okay, which would be fine in this case here. Or the fifth degree of the the major pentatonic. Okay, as I always call them the 55th degree. So we have one for six seventh position. OK? 14 on the sixth on three on the fifth month, three on the 4th 3 is on the third and we have 14 off the 2nd 1 on the first, going back for one second. 3rd 4th 31 of the fifth and 41 on the six. Let's put together. Okay. And that concludes these major benefit walls. Okay, separately. The next lesson will be putting them to gather the next part of this. Last we put in the address so we'll just proceed to the next video. See there 33. The D major Pentatonic Scale Modes United 11B: Okay. Welcome back to the second part of the D major scale Moles United United. So we're putting them together. We're gonna be moving from one to the other. Has we've done in the previous lessons regarding the other escape the other pentatonic scale. So here we start off again with on the ninth position off the six straight. We're starting with the second figure. That's the 10th threat were to be playing to four 14 on the 5th 14 on the 4th 10th position on the second, wife free. Then why all the first? Okay, then we're slide 12 position with first finger and play it. OK? There were 41 on the second string on. They were moved to 11th position on the third string. And for what? I get back to 12. Position on the fourth string 31 three on the face with a slide to ninth position. Play it Wanna Okay, There would have 42 on the six were to play four again. That form on the 5th 14 on the 4th 1/3 Moved back to 10th position. 13 of a second on the first slide. South position and then for one on the 2nd 3 Bottom 3rd 31 of the 431 on the fifth and 41 on the sixth. Slacked. Fifth position. 13 fifth. That's the six drinks, right? Okay, straight. 13 I'm gonna go forth position on the fourth string and more for back to fifth position. 13 on the 2nd 1 The first. Okay, slide second position and play it. So second fret. With our first finger. I have four to on the third straight. A second string story 3/3 31 on the fourth would have pulled off the 54 1 while the six and I would play the frustration in first position and then played. Do. That's the second friend of their second finger. OK, zero to two on for fourth. Okay. Then we'll have to third open string on the second mover hand in the second position put too. Okay, so that's the third fret. Second finger for and then one with first. Okay, now what happens here with this more going up now. So four to second string 31 on the third. Everyone on the fourth have full. But on the 5th 4 run on six there would slide to sit in the fifth position and one brain 13 other fifth or the fourth position. One more knot for the third. Also.
