Project Description

ASSIGNMENT:  You will start off drawing individual icons that will then be scanned and arranged to create a repeat pattern in Photoshop. Your lines will be colored digitally, so use black and white media to create your drawings. With that in mind, feel free to get creative! You can use ink, pencil, charcoal, watercolor, brush pen, etc..

THEME: The theme for your assignment is FOOD. This can be taken literally or abstractly... everyone will interpret this differently.

Deliverables:

  • Draw several pages of icons. These will be scanned in and brought into Photoshop.
  • Arrange your pattern square and post a progress shot.
  • Color your pattern.
  • Post your finished repeat.
