I loved Lucia's class and her way of teaching the technique to make paper flowers. Although I already have experience, making paper flowers, it is always possible to learn new ways of doing what we know, and learn from other talented artists. Her way of teaching through videos is didactic and easy to follow. I loved it!

Paper Artist

I'm a Paper Flower artist living in Boston, Massachusetts. I love all types of color palettes and can never settle on a favorite color. I started making paper flowers while researching real flowers for my wedding and was blown away by all the creative possibilities. At that point, the two flowers I could identify were daisies and tulips (and probably roses?), that's it, no botanical knowledge at all! But I was attracted to the colors and abstract shapes in flowers and my floral skills have been growing since.

Before becoming a paper florist, I got an Art degree at the Art Institute of Boston where I focused on Illustration and Printmaking. And before that.. I got a degree at the University of Chicago, where I focused on Economics and Statistics (what!). But my heart was always in all things Art, so I was lucky I eventually got to pursue my passion!
