Create your own unique cut paper illustration. You will choose a subject that excites you, concept, illustrate, cut and assemble an original cut paper illustration. At the end of the project, you will upload a good photo of your cut paper piece to the project gallery. Regardless of your design experience, this class will walk you through the basics of cut paper creation. This media is extremely unique and popular and can bring a unique twist to designers, illustrators as well as the casual creative. This class and assignment will help break down the necessary steps to create a beautifully unique illustration. 

Materials Needed:

  • acid free paper
  • acid free glue
  • exacto blade and knife 
  • cutting surface
  • picture frame with at least 3/4" depth (optional)
