About This Class

In this class you will learn the basics of setting up the user interface in Paintstorm Studio, which is fully customizable. The goal is to set it up in a way that is most practical for you, thereby reducing what could initially seem like a cluttered and overwhelming UI. We will have a basic overview of essential tools and then learn to create easy seamless repeats and mirrored pattern designs. If you are new to surface pattern design or are looking for an easier way to accomplish it, this is a great place to start. Hope you enjoy!

Please provide feedback so that I can improve on future classes. Thanks!

Note: I use the word "mandala" throughout the class to refer to mirrored patterns. I have updated the class title and cover image to better reflect this, since I am not teaching traditional mandala design.

Hello, I'm Andrea. I am a seamstress who also does surface pattern design. I am a strong believer in customization, hence the combination. I look forward to being able to share some of my skills with our Skillshare community.
