This course was created not just to show you how to paint an impressive realistic strawberry, but to give you all the tools you’ll ever need to deal with red subjects and highlights! so whether you just want to paint cute fruit, or you want to learn brand new tricks that make your paintings look super shiny and bright, there’s something for you in this course.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

These are the tools that I recommend you use for this course. It’s not necessary to get the exact same brands, or the exact same colors, but these are the ones that I have had the most success with.

  • Watercolor Paper : I recommend a hot press paper because it is smooth and perfect for details. My favorite is Fabriano Artistico 300gsm
  • Watercolor Paint : I recommend a range of red, yellow, and orange colors. See this document for my recommended colors.
  • Watercolor Brushes: I recommend a synthetic flat and a synthetic round brush. My favorites are the DaVinci Cosmotop line and the ProArte Prolene Plus line.
