Tools: For this painting, you would need the Leinart printed out atik watercolor paper Vancil and a razor for tracing the liner waterproof black pants for inking the liner around student brush, watercolor palette and the jar off water. 3. Painting the Shadows : painting the shadows for the shadows. I mix up some Petersburg violet color with a lot off water until I got a light Pastor Violet like this, this color is nearly invisible, so it's perfect for creating light shadows. All right, let's imagine the light is coming from the upper left direction. So the shadows are going to be at the bottom right off the objects. So I paint a tin shadow line at the bottom, right side off the candy cane. You can barely see the color, but trust me, it will create a lovely Freedy affect later on. I also pain the shadows at the bottom, right parts off each and every objects on the painting. I speeded. Abdel Fido. - All right, let's paint some shadows on the white stripes off the candy cane. Here I pain the pastor. Violet, toe the sides. I use light creek brushstrokes. I moved the brush parallel toe, the black line arts. I only pain the sides. I leave the center right. I speed up the process. All right. We are finished now. Lead like shadows. Completely dry. 4. Painting the Leaves: painting the leaves for the holy leaves. I use various shades off green, all these green sub green and the darker green color for the first layer. I put these colors randomly on the holy Leaves. My aim is to create a vibrant color layer. - I let the holy leaves try in the mean vile I pain the little leaves with sub green and boots and olive greens at the bottom off their leaves. You can add the olive green by painting little dots, or just simply add vat or, if green paint toe the vat sub greens. See how I did the believe that on the sub green. - Then I add really dark green as the second layer for the Holy leaves. I pain the contours and the veins off the holy leaf. - Then I clean my brush with water and smudged edges off the dark greens at the upper left, half off the leaf. I add some more dark green pains, toe the bottom right half off the leaves by Remember that the light sources shining from the upper left direction so the bottom right part off the leaves will be the darker sides with the shadows. I repeat the same process with the other holy leaves. That's it all. When you are finished, let it completely dry. 5. Painting the Berries: painting the Berries for the Berries. I used Mango oaks, Mother Lake Light and some Petersburg claret colors. But a lighter red and the Bordeaux color do the work as well. So let's paint the battery first. I paint a globe pick light red, and I put a dark red on the bottom. Violets tear that I paint a teen stam and some tiny dots on the top off the battery. Another version for the berry used to leave some white space inside the globe. It's the highlight where the sun sparkles on the Berries surface again. You put dark red on the bottom and paint the teen stem and some that's on the top. I speed up the video, - All right, we are finished, led the Barry's completely dry. 6. Painting the Candy cane: painting the candy cane, so I will use a light and the dark rat for the candy. The technique is similar to what I used in the shadows lesson. First, I paint the light red on the sides, leaving the center area vied. You squeaked in strokes parallel to the lines. - I mix up the red with a lot off water and thin divide stripes off the cane. With this reddish tint, - I continue with the dark red I painted over the light threats stripes. Be careful to leave some fights and even some light red areas unpainted. Our goal is to create a rich red and white colored candy. You can even paint very teen red lines into the fight striped areas, paying the red lines parallel to the stripes. I repeat the process on the bottom area as well. When you are finished, let it completely dry. 7. Painting the Bow: painting the bow. I start with a light orange, and I don't mind if right areas remain on the reborn as it were. Make the texture more interesting. - I continue with a bright red. I put it under the loops, off the ball and on the sides off the bottom rebounds. I blended well with the oranges. I also put the red on the upper part off the bow at the center, and I paint quick strokes towards the sides. I intensified the reds with even more colors okay than the other loop reds on the sides and blend them. So now I use board or red. At some areas which supposed to be darker as they are in the shadows, I use quick tin brush strokes, - so Bordeaux red at the edges, quick strokes towards the center and blend in very well. You may want to put some orange pains. He ran there to make the texture look more interesting. And don't forget to put Bordeaux red at the center as well. Finally, I put some dark on the rear side off the loop. This color is violet, mixed with Bordeaux red. When you are finished, let it dry 8. More Freebie Line Arts to Download: Congress.
