Project Description

Easily paint grapes that glow.

This skillshare is designed to give you something that is easy and simple to paint, and which looks good too!  You can let the brush do most of the work. They won't be perfect (not even mine are perfect), it's about having experimenting and playing around.  It was adapted from a book called Oil Painting Secrets from a Master by Linda Cateura.  It was written about a wonderful artist named David Leffel.

So, pick up a paintbrush, squeeze some paint onto a palette, and have fun!

Supplies/Equipment Needed:

  • Ultramarine blue
  • Terra Rosa
  • Cadmium Red light
  • Cadmium Orange
  • Titanium White
  • No 6 filbert (or any size filbert), works best with a bristle brush.
  • canvas
  • odorless mineral spirits
  • paper towels
  • a willingness to make mistakes and try again!
