About This Class


In this course I shared a lot of tips and tricks to do basic to advanced level strokes. If you are a beginner and you wanna learn to do one stroke painting then yes, you are in the right page. If you search for  intermediate or advanced level ideas to do floral composition then yes, you landed at the right place. I explained each and every details in a simple way. One stroke painting technique is one of the most satisfying and relaxing style. Not only while we do but also while watching others doing this technique, we feel satisfied. In this course,  I began with the materials required like the size of the brushes, palette, water jar, the artist grade acrylic paints and the surface I am gonna paint on. How to use a sponge to create the blurry background?. After that I shared a lot of things about how to load your brush? What is the perfect ratio of colours to load on your brush? How to hold your brush? And a lot more things. Some of the basic and easy warm up strokes in understandable way for the flowers and also for the different shapes of leaves. I explained about how many number of leaves, buds and flowers makes your artwork look beautiful. Finally we composed a beautiful artwork using the things which I explained earlier. Hello, I'm Fathima Aafreen . A happy mother and a self taught upcoming artist. Though I now put in Malaysia, my family is rooted in India. The nature at its best inclined me a love for drawing. What started as hobby turned to passion from the late 2016 and I haven't turned back ever since. They say , inspiration can come from anywhere. Well, mine is from our dear mother earth which paved a way for me to be a nature/landscape artist. From early 2016's, I started with graphite. In  2017, I experimented with oil pastels. 1. Introduction : Hi, I'm quite a mouthful and I must say that I have done few exhibitions in Malaysia, both solo and group exhibitions. And always I have a few online and offline workshops. In this lesson, I'm going to share some tips and tricks to do this beautiful floral work using one stroke technique. Basically eminence kept at this. But whenever I feel lack of inspiration, I used to do once should technique, this gives more satisfying and magical feel. This lesson is suitable for oil level from basic to advanced level. I'm going to share some of the tips and tricks to do some of the basic form of strokes. How do Holy a grayish, how to do the basic strokes in a simple V. And I'm going to share the tips about what is the basic propulsion of loading and brash, everything in detail. Some of the wiggle stroke, some of the bad stroke, some of the half or friend, but strokes, some off the leaf strokes, some of the vehicles through of the leaves strokes and a lot more thing in detail. And I'm going to share the details, the tips about how to do the wiggle, stroke, heart-shaped belief, which many think it's difficult. And also few more leaves like heart-shaped believe, and some easy leave using single stroke. And I'm going to share the deep suburb. How many leaves the make the artwork looks more attractive and how to do some of the filler leaves everything in detail and also what are all the colors and how to blurt them using this fund, everything. Let's see what are all the brushes and other materials we're going to use to create this beautiful walk. At three-quarter inch flat brush, or a half inch flat brush or a filbert brush. If you don't have that particular size, you can use it. Use whatever you have. This one is a quad, the age to flat brush, and this is a liner brush and a ballot to load our brush with paint. So I'm going to use these papers. Actually this is looking like a kind of laminated. So this will be useful for loading our brush, a paper towel. And let's see what it all the colors we're going to use. You don't need to use exactly the same colors I'm going to use. It's optional. So I'm going to use from liquid decks as well as a reefs. Reefs is my favorite and affordable price. You can use any color, any brand you have, but I prefer to use art disagreed, a crazy colors that will be very opaque and vibrant. What did you to wash your brush and to remove the excess water from the brush? I mentioned the colors name. While I'm doing that painting. 3. Basic warmup strokes/basic brush handling/brush loading : Let's see, what are the basic warm-up strokes we're gonna use to create this beautiful floral work using one technique. Now take your palate and loaded with colors. You can choose your own color choice. I'm going to use titanium light and vermilion. I'm going to use my half inch flat brush. You can use half-inch are three by four inch flat brush. Load 1 third with titanium white and 2 third with the dark color you chose. Loaded by going back and forth. Loading your brush properly is really important to get that clean edge of the strokes. So take some time and load your brush properly. Let's do the v good stroke, which we're gonna use for a modulus. This suggests market like abroad v and v glia brash, five times. This is how we used to do normally. Let me do two more times. Tried to do this along with me to get the better idea about and everything. Just hold your brush little sloping the glut, and use your pinky as a support to get the vector brush controller. And if you didn't feel satisfied that time, do you can redo on top of that? Let me do three more times with the random ups and downs. Sometimes instead of a fly. The strokes, strokes, I did not everyone look alike. Maybe the first three stroke maybe look alike as I did like five times wiggling. But the next three stroke might not be the same. So the first three strokes, I did 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, five times. I wiggled my brush for the three strokes. And the second line, I simply randomly I go up and down. So the way my hand goes, I simply wiggle my brush the same way that the three strokes. I simply randomly, I did that pedal stroke. So these are the pedal strokes be going I use to create the roses. Let's do some closed but stroke. This is very simple. Just give maximum pressure on limited to the top. So that's it. Let me do one more time. Light on top, rated the bottom, give maximum pressure and lead to desktop. That's all. Let's do some of the half opened beds. For that. We're gonna market Lake of V and wiggle it three times. Let's do a few more times to get the better brush control. If you've practiced a val, you don't need to mark it like a VAE kind of thing. You can directly do the stroke. So to give the bad feel, I'm gonna sit like. Doing an app open. You can wiggle it a bit or simply you can do leg up, open, connect the starting point and ending point of the stroke. Let's add few more petals around the bed using some commas stroke and dislike this lake. Some petals wrapping of a bed. Just three strokes. Sorry, two commas stroke and a curve underneath. Let me show you once again, just give maximum pressure and Linux, that's it. Very simple. You can change the direction. Just 1, 2, and 3 underneath. Let's do some of the basic leaf strokes, different types of leaves we gonna use. So far that the colors I'm going to use allege viridian green median, a low-end titanium white. I'm going to use my same half inch flat brush. You can use three-quarter inch flat racial half-inch, whatever you have it in your hand. So Lord, 1 third 2 third width green. Maximum dark, minimum light color. Loaded by going back and forth, gives some time. Load your dredge. Well That's really important. The green you can etch a bit of a read and do give the glowing field. You can patch a bit of white on the side of medium yellow dress. Well, by going back and forth, you can attach a bit of water with the tip of the brush. If you feel your brushes dry. Let's start doing the leaf strokes. Firstly, draw the middle line. And after that, just vaguely a brash and lean it to the top. You can redo on top of that. If you are not satisfied with the result. I used a low at the top and green at the bottom. Now, connected from top to bottom. The glia brush. Let's do the same leaf, but different style. Firstly, the same way, a law on top, green at the bottom, the glia brash, and link it to the top to do the second half of the leaf, the second blade of the leaf, I changed the color inside out, a low inside, outside. One more time. Let's do the same leaf, but a little bit in a different way. The fullest half of the Leave, same way alone top and the bottom. To do this second half of the leaf, just turn the paper for your comfort. And our next leaf will be lake, a little bit heart-shaped. Wiggle stroke the leaves. V times, leaving the heart shape, yellow, dark green at the bottom. The same way, I'm going to add three hides that I draw with white pencil. So far the fall is to place mildly v and v equal two times. Now at the second place, the same vagal, 2 times yellow, green at the bottom, you will get the heart shape. The same v to the third place, two times. By marking it like a V, we will get the third heart connected. And let's do some of the single blade. Easy Leaves stroke the same but stroke kind of thing. A low top green at the bottom give maximum pressure and lean in to the top. The same day we can add any number of leaves. I usually do odd number of leaves reg 1, 3, 5, or 7. To darken the leaf too dark and the green, I added a little touch of red on the side of the same easy Leaves stroke. I'm going to do it for five times now. Ivs you can read on top of that if you don't like it. And connect all the five leaves. Let's do some filler leaves. It's like a comma stroke. If you do three strokes together, we will get as kind of beautiful thing. I always use this thing to fail the space in between the leaves and the flowers. Just to give a maximum pressure. Drag it like we do the slider strokes. Now draw the center line and the gonad do the same stroke, but in a smaller version to give the tiny leaves. Some group of tiny leaves. If you are not okay with the half inch brush to do this, you can shift it to acquire the into the brush to get the tiny leaves strokes. So these are little bigger strokes and those are tiny, tiny strokes. So the moles done all the basic warm-up strokes which we will now use in our final project. 4. Creating the blurry background with sponge.: Let's see how the spread that colors for the background. Dip the sponge into the wilder and squeeze the water, squeezes Xist water into the jar and dab it on the paper towel. This much witness is in a fluoresce. Let's see, what are the colors? A little bit off. That color V loaded first, that this fallow blue. After that dash, white. Dab it on white. Now, sure, data brash on the wooden board. Just spread the colors by rotating it smoothly. And again and again, touch white alone, as we'd need the blurry effect. So we need more white and less color. Just smoothen it by rotating us very smoothly. Now, touch more white. And again, the radius. Just blend that color smoothly. I'm going to use little touch of violet and dab it on titanium white. Now, do the same progress. Just rotate this punch to blend that color to get the smooth effect. Little by little, you can add more, right? This multinucleate. We don't need any high ADH. We just need smooth edges. So just as rough day did. And now that's a bit of a red along with titanium white. Do the same progress. Draw DDoS, spread that colors smoothly. Blend colors with all the other colors we applied first. Now I'm going to use a delta H off light green along with titanium white. Now, use the tip of this pen. Before touching that color, we need to wait the Spanish. So the Piton say the wider squeeze the excess water that we don't paper towel and now touch the green. Along with a little ditch of titanium flight. Now spread that colors in a circular motion like we did before. Don't completely covered it. Just here and there. And after that I'm going to spread the colors by rotating the sponge to get this smooth blurry fee, you can use the bell portion of the sponge as well to blend the colors. Now we have completed the background. In our next lesson, we will start adding leaves and flowers. You can reuse the spine, just clean it. 5. Final project: Adding Leaves.: Let's add the leaves first. So the callosum going to use our media mellow, viridian green. Usually I use Prussian blue hue or the color blue. Whenever I paint it on black people. I said I'm going to paint it on the lightest background. I'm going to use litter didn't green along with media may look. I'm going to use my three-quarter inch flat brush as my cell phases little bigger than my size paper. Wash your brush by going back and forth and remove the excess water from the brush by dabbing it on a paper towel or a cloth. Let's add some leaves. First. Load advantage with media may lose. Another tip with viridian green. 1 third week medium. We looked good with the dark shade. Loaded well by going back and forth. Firstly, I'm going to add the bigger leaves, that heart-shaped, vivid, strong beliefs which we saw in our previous lesson, especially the basic volume strokes lesson. First, draw the center line and mark it like an arrow mark at the border. And now wiggle three times. A low on top, green at the bottom. Now for three or four times and linear to the top. The same. Let's add the biggest shocks to the opposite side of the leaf three times. And then we can begin to do the rest of the leaf and lean towards the top. Let's do our second leaf, the same pattern, draw the center line. If you feel your brushes dry, you can touch a bit of water with the tip of the brush. And now do the same technique visually three times, three or four times, and lean it to the top. To do the opposite side, I'm going to change the color inside out. I'm going to use green at the top layer and a blue inside. You'll need to experiment a lot with the basic strokes to get a better idea and bigger brush control, as well as you can as a date the surface for your comfort business. If you're not satisfied with the result, you can always redo on top of that. I'm delegate satisfied. Keep loading the ablation of the leaf. I'm going to add a little touch off at the side of green to get the darker green shade. Again, the same procedure. Draw the center line and then arrow mark at the bottom. After that, wiggle it three times 123. And now do the remaining wiggle stroke, you can check the darkness. So now the remaining petals, I mean, the remaining leaves stroke. So the same. They are going to do a cane half of the leaf. Now completed adding three big leaves. Let's do one more big leaf using the same technique. So the center line and an arrow mark at the bottom. After that, you can do the three times wiggles stroke and do the rest of the leaf. If you practice this technique, you can do it without even draw the center line and marketing like an arrow. And so all you need is practice. Now let's add that heart-shaped leaves, which we saw in our previous lesson. That basic follow-up strokes lesson. This is very simple, just moglich of V and wiggle it for two times. You will get the heart shape, the connecting three hearts to get the single leaf. The same way you can add any number of leaves as you wish. All you need is practice, practice, practice. One stop bending is like cut kind of doing calligraphy. To do calligraphy, you need a lot of practice. So do so much practice with doing the basic strokes to get the better brush control before you start doing the final project. So now let's add some medium-sized leave using some wiggle strokes. To do that, you can mark the center line and an inverted arrow audience. You can directly painted the way I'm doing now. Just wiggle it and lean it to the top and connect from top to bottom. Or you can change the paper, upside down, paper or wood, whatever your pentagon. I am patching a read on the side of green to get the darker green shade. When you are painting leaves, tried to add different shades of green, and also tried to add the leaves in different sizes to make your artwork looks more attractive and beautiful. Let's add some tiny leaves, just give maximum pressure and leaning to the top. You can use this stroke as leave or whatever. That will give that phi. Red and green are complimentary colors. So whenever you need a dark red, you can patch a bit of green. And whenever you need dark green, you can touch a bit of red. And important thing, keep it in mind. Don't add too much. Red with green as the green we'll turn to drown. If you add too much with that, just a little touch is enough to get the dad cut-stone. I'm going to use my half inch flat dish or a filbert brush to add some tiny leaves. Now Lord, 1 third, which made him a low end 2 third bit. Green loaded well by going back and forced. Now give maximum pressure and lead to the top to get the tiny leaves strokes. To darken your greenie again, touch a bit of red to make your artwork looks more better. Tried to add on BRAF leaves. So here I added seven leaves and now connected give minimum pressure to your breath to get the thin strokes. And now this is the commas stroke which we saw in our basic volumes strokes lesson. Just give maximum pressure and limits. So add like three in groups. I used to call this as fillers strokes. So you can use this variable you wish to fill this piece. Adding just simply leaves will be boring. So adding different things in your artwork make your work looks more beautiful. If you practice a lot, you will definitely get the idea of creating your wound. I add few more strokes over there. You can always use your pinky as a support. This is a same comma stroke, but a bit tiny in size. So I'm going to add tiny, tiny commands strokes. The variety of leaves, looking better. Any number of leaves that you wish to add. And you can add some leaf less stems here and there to make it more interesting. 6. Final project: Red orange rose: The completed adding leaves, Let's add some roses. For the first rows I'm going to use media may lose their myelin and titanium light LED screens, some paint on your palette. Media may Louise LD on a palettes, I'm going to increase vermilion. And I'm going to use my half inch flat brush. You can use filbert brush. Lord, 1 third of your brush with medium and low, and 2 third, with any red brilliant trade or vermilion, whatever color you wish to, you can use that. That is no particular color to be used for some flowers its job one wish you can choose your color choice. So loaded by going back and forth. I'm going to touch a bit of titanium light on the side of yellow. I'm going to use the same vehicle stroke for the petals of visuals. Red at the bottom. Just wiggle it. This random absent down. You can draw some sulcus that you feel. You add huge roses. I'm going to add three roses with few buts. Do the same vehicle strokes around that sulcus. You can always redo on top of that. If you don't like the stroke. To make the little dry, you can touch a bit of titanium white. Legally afresh randomly with some ups and downs. As a red and green are complementary colors. The leaf behind the red Druze will make it looks more attractive. You can just continue doing it as it goes against stop adding. But this, once you complete the circuit, and then you add up better in between the two pedals in the previous layer. One stroke painting is enough. The most satisfying technique, all you need is the basic volume of strokes. Once you got the idea of how to create those volume strokes and he kept the practicing. You can definitely achieve super cool Vaux. Instead of using either our best work as a reference, tried to use a photograph as a reference. In a photograph, you will get a lot more idea and it will be really challenging. Our rows. Start to look more beautiful. The most completed this rose venue are getting closer to the center portion. Tried to add more white to give the highlighted C. And also the strokes will get smaller venue, come closer to the center, combating to the petals which are in the background. Keep loading your brush often whenever you feel your brushes dry. And also you can touch a bit of water a day if needed. Only do they shall not too much water. This stroke just give maximum pressure and linear to the top. That's all. This is very easy one. 7. Final project: Red rose: Now let's do our second draw. For this one, I'm gonna use drilling tread and titanium white. Like a told you before, you can choose any color of your own choice. Like they did before. Start adding faders around the so-called white on top, red at the bottom. Just to regulate a randomly with some ups and downs. You can mark like a broad v and Ali can do that in R. You need is practice. If you practice the basic strokes, then you can easily do these kinds of strokes without UN marking those kind of V-shape. V completed adding the first layer for the Druze. Now let's add this again layer. I'm simply adding each Baden in between, two pedals in there. Well, previously I don't rush, take some time to relax and enjoy this progress. For the third layer, the same V, I had better in between two bidders in the previous layer. And also the size of the petal may decrease. Then you come back to the layer which we added first. Let's add some bytes for that. Draws the same stroke, which results in a version previous lesson, that basic warm up strokes lesson. Just wiggle it three times and do the up open curve to give the vaccine itself diverts, maybe like a giving maximum pressure on leaning towards a dog. You can add any number of buckets as you wish. But I prefer adding odd number of bytes. For this bird, I'm going to add some tiny buttons like rubbing the same definition. This is also V saw in the previous lesson that basic strokes lesson. 8. Final project: Violet Rose.: Now let's add our third flavor that violet rules for that. I'm going to use violet and titanium white. Just mark the silk with white pencil if you have. Now, why don't talk violated the wigglier brash randomly with some ups and downs. Firstly covered the so called may adding two petals. You can mark it like a broad v and legally or brash, it's okay if your Flavel covers the leaf. As acrylic is opaque, we can collective of mistakes by redo on top of it. So for the next layer, add Baidu in between two videos in the previous layer. Just relax and faint. You can reload your brush when you feed your brushes dry. And also if you feel your strokes. Good, some broken ages, you can touch a bit of water. And again, you can reload. So for the next layer, and by day in-between two pedals in the previous layer. For this violet flower, I added more petals to the upper half of the Flavell first. And now for the center portion, I give the stroke leg down up and go and end up open, close. And then you can fill this space. Completed alerts reduces, let's add some but that single stroke, the stroke kind of three times middling and giving the closed. 9. Final project: Final details with liner brush.: I'm going to use my liner brush to give the ring shapes to fill the space. Using green with a little touch of a law. I add a little water with this and a little shelf, titanium white. Firstly, let's connect the bytes flavors leaves using some stem. This will take some time. So have patience and do these things. Even small, small things make a difference, make a big difference in your artwork. So relax and do it with patients. One should painting technique is not only giving the satisfying feel why you do it. Even if you watch someone doing this, you can feel some satisfaction. That peace of mind. Your painting doesn't need to be exactly same as your reference. Whatever it is, either it is a landscape painting all in one stroke painting on anything related to nature. You're painting doesn't need to be exactly same as the friends. You can remove some things, you can ignore some things which you don't like it. And you can add up something with your own idea. With the tips and tricks I shared with you here, you can create your lawn composition, one floral composition. Let's add some links here and there. It's okay if it got broken in between. You don't need to read on top of that legend b, that will make your artwork looks attractive. Happy accident happened. Almost completed this beautiful painting. I hope you do did this painting along with me. If you did, then I'm shell that you will definitely got the idea of creating this kind of floral composition in a easy way, using the basic warm-up strokes In the back side of the brush. Let's kill the final detail by dabbing it on a low mid. And so congratulations. Then finally completed. 10. Conclusion : So finally we have completed beautiful artwork using the very easiest and satisfying technique called one shot technique. We have learned a lot of tips and tricks to do one. So painting. I have shared a lot of things in this course. The star does from how do load of a grayish, in what proportion, what ratio we need to load a bridge and the brushes, which is full effect for doing that declared strokes. Everything in detail. We discussed in this course.
