1. Introduction : Hi, I'm Fatima offhand. I must say that our desk, I have done you exhibitions in Malaysia, both solo and group exhibitions. And always I have a few online and offline workshops. In this lesson I'm going to share some tips and tricks to do this beautiful slaughter work using one stroke technique. Basically eminence kept at this. But whenever I feel lack of inspiration, I used to do once should technique gives more satisfying and magical C. This lesson is suitable for oil level from basic to advanced level. Share some of the tips and tricks to do some of the basic form of strokes. How do hold your brush? How to do the basic strokes in a simple way. They gonna do these two paintings as several final project began to learn some of the basic strokes like shale stroke. How do you use that chair stroke as a better by adding more details to that, using that same technique in a very easy way. How do create the center portion of the rules and how to add the slightest strokes that add the slightest strokes and what are all the free strokes. We do not apply everything in detail. I several first project we're going to create this beautiful rules. Along with those tiny, tiny leaves add-on that rules. And also tiny, tiny flavors using the basic form of strokes. And in the world's second project, Reagan and create a beautiful floral arrangement in the y's, in a very easy technique. Before start doing our final project, I explained everything in detail about how to create those tiny, tiny flowers are decreed. The rules, how to create some daisies, everything in DJ. At the end of the session, you will definitely go the idea of how to create a floral composition using some basic form of strokes. 2. Materials Required : Let's see, what are the materials required to do this beautiful piece of artwork using one technique, 145 GSM black sheets are any colored I really sheets. You have brushes, flat brushes with size like three quarter-inch, half-inch and aquatic Ange. And around race. Or a liner brush to clean your brush to remove the excess water from your brush. I've mentioned the names of the colors while I use. You can choose your own brand of color, but I prefer using our district grade acrylic paints. 3. Basic proportion of colours to load your brush.: Let's see how do Lord of a glacier and some of the basic strokes we need to bring this beautiful flower. Load, one to fit any dark color. And the 35th titanium white. 1 third width, white, do third with any other dark color. That is d, will affect an issue of loading your brush. Go back and forth until you get the smooth field. Whatever color you are choosing. Mates shell. You load your brush properly to get this smooth edge strokes. You can attach a bit of Waldo. If you feel your brushes dry. 4. Project 1: colourful Rose, Basic strokes: Let's see what the basic volume strokes to do this beautiful rose using one technique. To do this, I'm going to use my half-inch flat range. So Lord, 12 fit any dark color and analytic fifth light color here I'm using dialogue blue and titanium white. I'll first stroke is a teardrops, true? Just like this. The next stroke is like a heart shape. So for that ligand I use teardrops, true? 2 times. Just wiggle it two times. R. You can mark it like a V and you can connected like we usually do. Third one is a shell stroke. You can regulate five dimes. You can mark it like abroad v, and then also you can connect it. Let me do one more time. Just get like a drop V and wiggle it five dimes or any number of time you wish to do. You can IVs redo on top of that. Acrylic is a big. Now we're going to do that. And he was shared stroke, dislike this. As acrylic is opaque, we can always do if you find your strokes didn't come out well, like you might have the broken ages or something like that. You can always redo on that. Now the stroke is legged plaintiff giving maximum pressure and lean it. The way I'm doing this is what we're gonna do on our petals drew. Just give maximum pressure and lean it. Slide this. You can always practice with a different direction. I'll show you how to use this on top of the petal. Now, I get to dock at the top and the bottom. Let's do the shared stroke again. So for that better, for the lowest pedal we used to do this shell stroke, wiggle it any number of time. And now we're going to use that particular stroke, which we did just before. Dark, color at the top, like glared at the bottom. And Vigener give maximum pressure and lean it to this end devotion, we started with blue. Why did the Board them just give maximum pressure and twisted start with blue and also end with blue. So just like this, this way, linkable by the looks more bright and vibrant. The same way you can do this for the next. That also. So this is how we're going to add this particular stroke on our petals to give that bright field. And for the center pushing a fall off level, we're going to use the stroke to give the bed Feel that those work. You can wiggle three times. And then in the center of that you can use the Development Goals stroke and again connect it by using that open just like this border the corners. The same way to the center of that draws bird. And these are all called the slider strokes or commands strokes. Practice it in different direction. And you can wiggle it a few times and then also drag it. You can either use simply that comma stroke audience. You can use wigglier brash and then lean it. I mean drag it. Tried to practice these in different directions. This will help you to create the rules in a easy way. Now, these are all the warm-up strokes we're gonna use to create the rules. Let's see some more of the other strokes which we go now use in our final project. So it's like the kind of leaf straw. So starting with white, like this, give maximum pressure and go up. And we divide, suggests a kind of s. It looks like a leaf, right? So one more time, the same V, just like this, start with light and give me mum plays Sheila, I mean medium pressure and then lift it. So we will get this kind of pattern. So I'm not done give maximum pressure and limit. So this one we're going to use to create tiny leaves in our final project. And to give the tiny curves, I'm going to use my liner brush number 1. So load your brush with the paint any color. I'm loading my brush with medium a low along with the little dash of titanium white. Just in a free hand movie or brash. Just like a loose stroke, give minimum pressure to get a thinner strokes. Again, do it like a wheel or you can do like a silk or anything. You wish to practice these things. Also, you can use the same brush to give the borders to our betas using titanium white. So these are all the basic warm-up strokes we're going to use to create the final project. Practice these strokes Val before you start doing our final project, I hope to see you in my next lesson. 5. Project 1: colourful Rose: Let's see how to do this beautiful Slovak in this final project. So firstly, I'm gonna draw a circle with my pencil. You can use any round thing to make the outline. I mean, do draw this. And I'm going to use my lid of the war. They jack. This really guide you that to add Flavel. I'm going to use my half inch flat brush. For the rows. I'm going to use fallow blue, ultramarine blue, and titanium white. You can choose any color of here. One choice. For the first layer of Vedas, I'm going to load $1 blue and ultramarine blue on the side of the aisle, somebody in blue, you can fetch a bit of titanium white and load it again. We need Lipton color for the bedroom pedals, combating to the bitters, which are in the upper layer. Let's do the shell strokes to create the buttons. You can wiggle any number of time. So here I'll summarize. White at the top. That little blue at the bottom. You can always redo onto both your stroke. If you feel your strokes are broken, are very transparent. Or if you are not satisfied, then you can always redo on top of that the same V. We go now add buttons. Actually, we are not adding vectors onto above that circle, which we draw before. So inside that circle, via creating this rose, you can add any number of factors. It depends on the size of years rules, and also the size of the Bechdel depends on the size of the brush you are using. If you are going to paint a big growth, then you can go with a 40 inch out, one inch flat, flat brush. If you feel your brushes dry, then you can batch a bit of water with the tip of the brush. Not too much water. Just a little Dutch. Let's add the second layer of petals. Add up better. That usually causes facing towards which direction you are roses facing to it. And after that, you can add that point. Stroke. I'm going to add to Donald been curves inside that single wiggle stroke. Better. So now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to wash my brush completely. Wash your brush immediately once you complete using that and diabetes on a raft got to remove the excess water from your brush. So now I'm gonna use my climate change flat range. And Lord, wanted titanium white and innovative. Hello, blue, loaded by moving back and forth. And now I'm going to add that stroke which we saw in our previous lesson to give more highlighted bright field to our Betas. Suggests to give maximum pressures and lean it towards the same devotion. Keep it in mind. White will always be at the border. I'm adding this straw to one coordinate of all the bidders and now giving like a kind of tiny, tiny drop strokes to give more high fee to debate those. Alkane. Now I'm going to use my half inch flat brush again to add more Vedas in the center pushing stuff off level. Load 12 fifths titanium white, and another div with the dark color you wish to add. So now I'm adding the yellow, blue, one tip, titanium white and adaptive loaded way back and forth, going back and forth. Just add the stroke up open. And now adding the slider strokes to fill the space in between. The sand deposition are full of lava and the button set around it. Just add the slider strokes in different direction. You can always redo on dope both the Vedas if they didn't come out well. So don't already be patient. Relax and paint a few more tiny leaves over there and again here this side. Okay. The completed adding details to our roles, knowledge and the dyes to the circle which we draw before. I'm going to use. 6. Project 1: Final composition, adding tiny flowers and leaves around the rose.: The completed adding details to our rose knowledge and the dice to the circle which we draw before. I'm going to use my glad that inch flat dish. And for the tiny flowers, I'm going to use orange and titanium white. So lowered 12 fit, titanium white and analytic fit or range loaded by going back and forth. At least loaded three times to get the brush loaded properly. Now I'm going to do that heart-shaped a stroke which we saw in the previous lesson. So forth. Betters for a single TSH level, for better load 35 is possible. It's up to you. Leave some space in between the flavus. You can always throw DTO people for your comfort minus VP shunt. Don't rash. Enjoy the progress. I hope you do painting along with me. If you're painting along with me, I hope you can definitely got the idea of how I'm creating this in a very easy way. And you will get the idea. Just feel more flavus. Legal, not complete this on most. Let's add some green things like leaves. And so far that I'm going to use medium yellow and tallow blue as valid. Lewis elderly may pallet. Usually I use Prussian blue hue and media may look for the leaves and on. But today I am going to use tallow blue and medium a loan. And I'm using my quarter inch flat brush load 12 bit, duller blue and analytic fitMedia middle. So loaded value by going back and forth. Now I'm going to do that yes, kind of stroke, which we saw in a previous lesson, sat with me. They may low and give medium pressure and go up. That will give the stroke. And When we need that, like the way I'm doing now. So let's connect all the tiny PH levels using the straw. This will give you the feel like a kind of you're looking a bouquet from the top angle. The almost completed adding, this is true. Leaf or something which connects above level. Let's add few tiny leaves. Need of a tiny levels. I'm using my same glad the inch flat brush loading the same colors, duller blue and medium-low. You can't measure bit of tidy invite to give the brighter, right phi. So given maximum pressure and limit that soil. So one leaf outside, one leaf inside. All Def levels, they can add those tiny leaves. I'm using a Luan top bluer the boredom give maximum pressure and lean it. The size of the leaf depends on the size of the branch and the pressure you are giving. Let's add the days to this center portion of the lead tiny flavor. I'm going to use the backside of the brush handle and David medium a little. And the average of the center portion of all the flavors, including Alicia rules. Now, I'm going to use my liner brush and load it with media may look with a little touch of white. And also illegal the Jove blue to get the light green shade. And you can add a bit of water to get the strokes there. Just add some loose strokes, give minimum pressure to get the tiny strokes. Though the same progress needed oil, the tiny flavors. And just to be via hand. That's a bit of water if needed, and keep loading your brush often. Do give the highlighted strokes it can. And a bit of titanium white with media may learn and do that free stroke. So now let's add some more the days for that. I'm gonna use titanium white with the bank side of the brush handle, dab it and dab it like the way I'm doing. So, feel free less. The, I almost completed adding Phyllis to our sharp, jagged, and white borders to our rules using the liner brush. Always give minimum pressure to get the thinnest strokes. Take some time to do these things. Don't trash, to relax and paint. And you can always reduce paper for your comfort. And also, I'm adding a few details to descend the portion as well. They almost completed final project in a very easy way. I hope you got some idea about how to compose a floral work using very easy, basic strokes. So I'm adding few bodies to the leaves. Using media may low-end titanium white. Now we have completed our final project. 7. Project 2: Flowers in the Vase, basic strokes: Let's see what the basic volume strokes we're going to use to create this beautiful piece of artwork using one stroke technique in a very easy way. You can choose any two colors, one dark and one light color. Today, I'm going to use titanium white and deep turkish to do these basic warm up strokes. While we do have a main project, we can choose different colors. And the brushes I'm going to use are acquired. They inch flat brush, number 1, round brush, and a very small flat brush. This is number two. Before using your brush, just voice sheet and dab it on a paper towel or a draft lot to remove the excess water from your brush. And now I'm loading my dark color. And with the tip of my brush I'm going to touch titanium white. Firstly, I'm going to do some easy levels, easy tiny flowers for that. I'm going to give maximum pressure and release to this center portion. For some flowers, you can add five videos. For some you can add four or three, or two, or even one. And also you can add more white for some bitters and more dark color for some faders to give different shades of colors that make good artwork looks more realistic. Keep loading your brush to get the better strokes. So now for this one, I'm adding five petals. And for the next run, wine 2345. You can, if you observe it carefully. Not all the petals, audience same candle. I add more white and also more blue for some flowers. And here I added a three bidders alone. Now just one lead one. And here it is two bidders. So you can add painters as you wish. Keep it in mind, tried to give dark colors for the flowers in the background and add more white to the flavus as a highlight, which are in the top layer. With the backside of your brush handle, you can touch a loose and the dense to the center portion of the flavor. But here I'm not using, I'm not adding detail to the center portion. I'm just showing you how to do the petals alone. When we do over final project, I will show you everything. Now, our next level, I'm going to use my clock, that inch flat brush. So this one, this is quite the age, lord, completely with the dark color first. So before loading your grace, you need to wash your brush and dab it on a paper towel to remove the excess water. So like I said, Lord, completely with the dark color and touch, right? With the tip of the brush. Now, it's an adult Lavoie. So give maximum pressure and lean it to the center. So you can do three strokes to create one fitter are just two strokes to create one petal. It's all depends on the size of the petal you need. And tried to add 50 meters or three bidders if possible. And you can always redo if you don't, like the stroke issue did before. So let me do one more flammable. The same way you can touch the dark color and then you can test Y given maximum pressure and lean it inside. Linear to the center portion. You again create a pattern by doing just one stroke for the small lipitor, two strokes for the medium-sized 13 strokes to create the product one. And this is how we can create different types of flowers, I mean, in different angle. 8. Project 2: basic strokes : Let's see what the basic volume strokes we're going to use to create this beautiful piece of artwork using one stroke technique in a very easy way. You again create a pattern by doing just one stroke for the small lipitor, two strokes for the medium-sized 13 strokes to create the product one. And this is how we can create different types of flowers, I mean, in different angle. 9. Project 2: final project, Flowers in the Vase.: Let's do our final project using the basic strokes which we saw in a previous lesson. Firstly, I'm going to paint the wass. Let's draw three straight lines, starting one and England and the middle one little below those two lines. You can use scale as I'm painting on black people, I'm using white bins and connect all those three lines. Like the way I'm doing. Five device that are less than gonna use are red and gray. If you don't have a gray color, then you can mix a little bit of black with titanium white. I'm going to use my quarter inch flat dish washer British firstly, and remove the excess water by dabbing it on a big potential audience F clot. Load. Your brush with great occurs and painted the way I'm doing. Just play with the colors. Imagine like the light source is coming from the left side. So I add the brighter, don't do the left side and the dark good, don't do the right side as that will be shadows. I'm just playing with radar good and gray. Until you get satisfied, you have to paint it. I kept playing with those two colors, radar good and the gray. I'm giving the vertical strokes. I'm trying to give the highlighter see to the left side. As the light source will be on the left side, we need the brighter tones. So I'm trying to give the brightness to the left side. Now to give highlight, I'm going to use titanium white. Now again, play with white. Acrylic is big. We can do on top of the previous layer until we get satisfied. So don't worry, don't give up. Keep playing with the colors. I'm trying to give the wooden feel to my vase. Now let's add some flowers. For that. I'm going to use my very smaller size flat dish. This is like number one. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to load my brush with medium, low and titanium white. Firstly, load your brush with medium mellow and devastating invite with the dip of the brush and dab it like five times. It's like a tiny Flavel group of tiny, tiny flowers which has five betas. So far, few PH level you can add 5, 4 few, we can add to a three. This is the one which we saw in our previous lesson. Firstly, they did this floral work. I explained how to do that in D-Day in the previous lesson. Now again, I'm going to do the same flooded work, but I'm going to change the color to violet. Now I'm going to use violet with titanium white. The same v0. Load your brush with violet first and then you can touch a bit of titanium white. And also, I'm using ROS matters. The same group of tiny flowers with five bidders. Just dab it five times to get the breeders, the tiny, tiny pedals, fore few flowers, you can add five breeders, far fewer. You can add just three. And tried to give the DAG good. Don't do the flowers which are in the background. The codon means add more violet and less weight to the flowers which are in the background. And for the flowers on the top layer giving highlighted field, add more white. Now I'm going to add a few flowers, which results secondly in our previous lesson. So for that I'm going to use my glad the inch flat brush load red or Kirsch, and then that should be white. And do the strokes like I'm doing, just give maximum pressure. And Linux towards the center portion. The same they add Floral works. Those flowers variable you have is to add not all leaf levels need to be look alike. So you can change the size of the better and the direction of the petal. You can add four bidders for some flavors, for some flowers, you can add five or six. It depends on always the size of your Flavel valleys depends on the size of the brush. Now, I loaded my brush, wanted fitMedia mellow and enolate, if it's titanium white, give maximum pressure and leaning towards the center position. To create a single level, the added three strokes, this one also we saw in the previous lesson in detail. First sons levels, you can add more white and for some flows you can add more yellow to give differentiates self colors to your levels. Once you're done with the single color, you have to wash it cleanly to touch the next one. Now let's add some roses and rosebuds for that, I'm going to use violet and titanium white. So Lord, wanted with violet and additive with titanium white. And the basic warm-up strokes we saw in the previous lesson. Once you practice to do as well, this will be easy for you. For the rose petals, VD do use that v good strokes. You can wiggle it any number of time. It's okay if you have rows cover the flowers which we painted before, that we'll look more realistic. Our first roles will be fully open. So I use five petals for the base layer of Israel's adding better in between two pedals in the background. So after that, do give the rows, but the center portion of the rules, you have to use that down open go and open Girl, which we saw in a previous lesson. And then you have to use the slider strokes to cover this base. Keep loading your brush often whenever you feel your brushes dry and you can patch a bit of water with the tip of the brush if needed. So let's paint a few more rows and rows, but the second rows will be like the look from different angles. So firstly, I'm adding three pedals using the wiggle strokes and do the same definition. I'm using the down open girl and the app open girl, and then giving the leaf stroke to cover, to wrap the center portion. So that's it. We created this beautiful rose. Let's add few more bytes. Give maximum pressure and linear to the top, do the same stroke two times. To create this beautiful one. We can use this stroke for leaves, for the beds, four petals as well. Our next two rows bird will be like half or band 1. So for that same technique. And then add the center portion by using the downward going curve and the EpiPen curves stroke and then add the lead stroke just by giving maximum pressure and lean it to the top. So that's it. Now I'm going to add some white and a little rows. So far that I'm gonna load 12 yellow and analytic fifth titanium white, loaded by going back and forth. The same legal stroke. Just use a wiggle stroke. You can add any number of petals. It depends on the size of your roles. And violet and yellow, orange complimentary colors. So they will definitely make the contrast and make our artwork looks more attractive. So I have chosen violet and the ALU, you can choose any color of your choice. It's like fully or pencil. For the second layer, I'm gonna buy goods in between the bidders in the background. Again to the center portion, I'm going to add tiny, tiny petals. To give a little more detail. I'm going to use my round brush. I'm gonna load it with titanium white and gives some seekers. This is also V saw in the previous lesson. I clearly explained it in the previous lesson about how to do those C strokes. Now I'm going to add the second light as rows. You can add any number of levels, any color. It's up to you. You're one choice. I mean, few White Rose bets. This one also, I have shown clearly in our previous lesson, just how do you see a brash feel more here and there. So technique. This is three by four inch flat brush from Princeton. So whenever you buy, a British tried to check it out whether the distance not too long, it should be in a medium height. If it is too long or strokes may not be good. So don't buy the blisters with long hair. Especially when it comes to flat brush search. I do buy it with a short hair and four liner line, a grayish. The length of the blister will be long. That will be perfect for doing those loose strokes. If it is to shard, it won't be that good. So whenever you buy a fly, British tried to get it with shot height of resistors and four liner brushes. It's okay to have a lengthy bill sense. And also venerable you buy your flat brush, just check it once you wash it. And the Hamiltonian be able to have a lot of Escalade. The tip of the blisters should be shot. The sharp tip will give us the clean strokes. So when you do like this, the tip will be very sharp. With this brush, we can create the clean energy, the strokes. So now let's see how to wash the brushes. If you're using a round brush dot tried to wash it in a circular motion like I did just now. And you see a paper towel to remove the excess water from your brush. And for the flat brush, I'm just doing this by going back and forth like the way I'm doing now. And remove the excess water like this and dab it on a paper towel or the rough clock. So if you do like this, the lifetime of your branch will be longer.
