1. Introduction : Hi, I'm quite a mouthful and I must say that I have done few exhibitions in Malaysia, both solo and group exhibitions. And always I have a few online and offline workshops. In this lesson, I'm going to share some tips and tricks to do this beautiful shoulder work using one stroke technique. Basically eminence get at this. But whenever I feel lack of inspiration, I used to do when should technique, this gives more satisfying and magical feel. This lesson is suitable for oil level from basic to advanced level. I'm going to share the tips and tricks about how to hold your brush when doing one stroke painting. And how do you load your brush? And how to do some basic warm-up strokes and also the finite beautiful composition. You don't need any experience to do this technique. All you need is practice, practice, practice, and also the techniques I shared with you and try this at home. Do painting with patients. And if you have interest, you can definitely achieve what you really want to see. I'm going to share the tips about how to cover the base layer and how to add highlights and also how to add leaves. That to add leaves, how many leaves makes your walk looks more beautiful? And all the days, I learned through extremely painting, tried to do painting along with me and end up decision. You will definitely go the idea of how to create a beautiful composition using some basic strokes. It can start painting with any material. You have it in your hand. 2. Materials Required : Let's see what are the medial zirconia to do this beautiful piece of artwork using one such technique, a black sketchbook or Amy colored I really sheets you have. I suggest you do use any 140 GSM paper. If you don't have that, you can use a nice colored white sheets. You have it in your hand. Let's see what are the colors we're going to use and the size of the brushes, everything. A half inch, flat brush out, a filbert brush. What did just to clean them ablaze and also to use random movie feel. Our brushes dry a paper towel or a left glove to remove the excess water from a brash. And the colors, I'm going to use our titanium, white, and medium NLU or any illusions. And for the lease, the one I use Prussian blue hue and medium and low. You can use any brand. But I said artists quality, that is the only important thing. 3. Basic brush loading and warmup strokes : Let's see how to load of a glacier and some of the basic strokes we need to bring this beautiful sea level 1 to fit any dark color and undertake fit titanium white. 1 third with white, do with any other dark color. That is the ratio of loading your brush. Go back and forth until you get the smooth. Whatever color you are choosing. Mates shell. You load your brush properly to get this smooth strokes. You can touch a bit of Waldo. If you feel your brushes dry, you can choose any two color, one light, one dark color. I'm gonna use titanium, white, and red. Now I'm going to use my three by four inch flat brush to do these basic strokes. So lowered one tip, I mean, 1 third width, light to dark with dark color here I'm going to use a red. This is actually a million. Load your brush by going back and forth, loaded properly. Otherwise, you will not get a clean aid to the strokes. Let's do our first straw. This is a flat stroke. Hold your brush a little sloppy and drag it while you start with making a blush 100 straight and lift. You can read on top of that, if you feel the strokes didn't come out well, that looks very transparent. You can redo on top of that one more time. Keep practicing the basic strokes again and again to get the brush control. And more time, use your pinky is a support and deliberation little sloppy. And while you stop it, make your brush a 100 straighten lift to get the clean, aged strokes. Let's do the second stroke. It's like a kind of down often curve. Load your brush again and again. You can read on top of that, just hold the ablation little sloppy. You can use your pinky as a support. Let me do one more time. My three points, starting point and ending point and the point in Moodle connect all the three. We will get the stroke like a kind of Donald been curl. Let's do our thirds show. It's like a kind of an open curve or a kind of use drug. The same way. Mark three points, starting point and ending point. And a point in the middle, which is little below the points which we mark that before. And connect all the three, we will get used stroke neatly. I will afford the strobe is called as the interrupts through. You have to market like a V and a Malkin. Same to connect all the three, we will get the good Drop stroke. Our next stroke will be like a kind of the eyedrops, true. But this will give you the field like a petal. So markedly Covey and a Markin Center which is above that V. And connect all the three we will get the beautiful petals draw. Our next stroke will be like a kind of leaf stroke. Are, we can use it as a pedophile flowers also. Just give maximum pressure and link it to the top. Lift one end. Before you start, we will get a beautiful leaf stroke. Just make your vistas little sloppy and give maximum pressure. You can change the color inside out. You can use white on top and dark color at the bottom, a dark color on top and white at the bottom. Let's see some of the basic strokes for that. I loaded one to fit a low and innovative with viridian green low D2L and give maximum pressure and release on top. You can change the color inside out. They made these leaves with single stroke. We can create leaves using two strokes or it's all the same. They give maximum place shell and lean it towards the top and comes from top to bottom and connected. Plot this against stroke. You can change the color inside out. The same way you can create a longer leaves using the same technique which we used to create those tiny leaves. In our next lesson, Let's see how to create a beautiful floral composition using these basic strokes which we saw in this lesson. 4. Floral composition / Plumeria/ Leaves: Let's see how to do this beautiful, easiest flooded decomposition using the basic strokes which we saw in the previous lesson. I'm going to use the black people. So this is like A5 size. I cut my A4 size paper to have. And with white pencil just mark like a Dalit variable you feel you're gonna add your Flavel. I'm going to add five flowers. So I'm gonna create five donuts. Creating donor, it is easy, just like an oval shape and a Smiley in the middle. It's like which side you are Flavel gonna face so that you can create a smiley. Let's add some leaves. First for that I'm going to use media may look, and Prussian blue hill, I'm using my half inch flat brush load, 1 third bit medium yellow and 2 third with Prussian blue hue. Or you can use the color blue. Claudia bridge by going back and forth. If you feel your brushes dry, you can touch a bit off wider with the tip of your brush. So now a yellow on top, blue at the board, then you can draw along a line as our leaves gonna be longer. So a on top, blue is inside Sham Top Dubois them all from bottom to top. You can connect it. If you feel you are strokes looks very transparent. You can redo on top of that until you get satisfied. So the same way, the opposite side we go now create another blade of our leaf. So a low on top and blue inside connect from top to bottom. Tried to add ordinate of flavors and odd number of leaves as well to make our artwork looks more attractive. As our leaves or longer than usual, we happen to be duff one go or fail to get these strokes without any broken edge. Just a little bit touch of water. Let's add the leaves closer to the flowers first. The donuts, which we draw with red beans and rice. So near those flowers, Let's add some leaves here in there. You can change the size of the leaves, some longer ones, some sharded and broaden one's. Once you got the technique, you will definitely enjoy doing this. This is like really satisfying technique. Tried to add leaves in-between those flowers. It's okay if the leaves covered the levels which we mark because after it dries, we can. Redo on top of that, as acrylic is opaque, you don't need to worry about that. We can easily covered the background. You can rotate your paper as well for your comfort minus, you can give the glowing feel to your leaves by adding a little touch of titanium white on the side of medium ILO. Now you can feel the difference between the leaves which we added before and after adding titanium white, medium, yellow. Keep loading your brush often. And that should be DOF Y if needed. That in the delta H of Y with the tip of the brush. You are painting doesn't need to be exactly same as the reference. So don't worry, Don't give up. Everyone's side will be different. Acrylic is a fast drying medium. Sylvain. Use Greece, Spain from the toolbar, from the model, tried to squeeze less amount of paint. Once it dries, it will become like a kind of plastic. It will become permanent. We cannot react with it like we do with watercolor. So keep it in mind. Let me share some of the information about the acrylic medium. Self-assemble acrylic, water-soluble so we can use a clear liquid water and so we can clean our duels with what day it says. Point to just because acrylic is water-soluble, doesn't mean you can make so much water with it like we do with water column. If I add so much while they are with acrylic incident period of time, your artwork may end up creating some cracks and definitely that will disappoint you. Point them a tree, like I told you just before, acrylic dries faster. Once it dries, it will become like a kind of plastic and it will be permanent. We cannot reactivate it like we do with watercolor. Acrylic is opaque. So whenever you try with acrylic, you'd only do variable debt. As it is opaque, you can correct your mistakes by adding another layer. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can completely cover that with another color and let it dry and you can read on top of that. So these beginner friendly. So yeah, v have completed adding those leaves. So some are longer, some are shorter and broader ones. Let's see how to add flowers in between those leaves in the next video. And don't forget to wash your doodles once you complete your work. 5. Final project/ Plumerias/ Flowers and buds: Far those flavors, I'm gonna use titanium light, and medium yellow. You can use any yellow shade. You have. Just load one tip with a loop and ended up with titanium white. 1 third, 2 third with titanium white. Now white on top a lowered the bottom. Market like a V and a mile in center, which is about that BY connect all the tree. This stroke we saw in our basic strokes, basic bomb of strokes lesson. So the same fiddles, shrugs, Egan, I use for all the flavus. If you've practiced those basic strokes where you will definitely get this stroke easily. So we're going to add five BY does for a signal flow. If not, give the Bender feel to your bed days, you can simply mark it like a V. And that particular mark, we usually do incentive about that V, right? You can simply, I mean, slightly change the direction and connect it. You will get the vendor ID field to your headers. If you practice well, you will definitely go at that. As acrylic is opaque, the adult, the pedals on top of the leaves and the leaf portion is disappeared on that particular area. The second level will be like the level which is behind the level which we added before. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to add three petals, like we do for the first flower. And the remaining two painters, like half folded kind of thing. That pedals will be slightly shorter than those three pedals. Now, the third level, the same V. The first three buttons will be in normal size. Same technique market like a V and American Center, which is little bit about that v connect. All the three. Remaining two pedals will be shot dead combating to the other three petals. It's okay if you added the better about the pedals. I mean, about the flavus, which we added before. It's okay. Now I'll afford the flower will be completely open. If you wish. You can add any number of lovers, but I prefer to add odd number of flowers and leaves as well to make our artwork looks more attractive and beautiful. So now our wealth of the Flavel, the same technique. One struck bending, is like a kind of doing calligraphy. To do calligraphy, you need a lot of practice. The same way. If you do a lot of practice with the basic strokes, you will get the beta brush control. Completed adding flowers, Let's add some beds. I didn't wash my brush, just lowered little bit of blue on the side of yellow. And the delta H of medium yellow underside of titanium white, which we loaded before. Lord it by going back and forth. So now it's like a kind of leave straw, just one blade leaves drop, which we saw in a very basic warm up strokes lesson. I'm doing like single leaf stroke and stroke a little lower than the previous one. And again, doing that, that will give the bud see. You can add those bytes variable you wish to add just to cover the space. Once you've completed adding those beds, just connect those beds leaves and Flavell using some tiny stem. Give minimum pressure to get the thinner lines. Or you can shift the brushes to the smallest size, small flat brush, or a liner brush. I'm using medium, a low one side and the blue shade at the side. Let's add some highlight and veins to the leaves. Now I'm going to add the border lines to the leaves first. Like color on top, dark color at the bottom. There, a low added with little dish of white one side. And the dark blue converted to dark green. So that is the Boyden connect the corners. Now, add some veins. Like I told you, you can shift your brash from largest size to smile one and veins to all the leaves. I hope you are doing this painting along with me. You are doing this, then I'm sure you will get the idea of creating this particular floater composition in a very easier b, v. I almost completed adding details to the leaves. Let's add some detail to the Flavell, particularly the center portion of the flower. I'm going to add this. They chose orange with the back side of the brush handle. Just dab it and like a dot to this center portion of each flower. Little touch of orange and liberal than just a low, and Aberdeen is in the bush. So finally, we have completed this easiest floral composition using the satisfying on stroke technique. 6. Conclusion : So finally, we reached the last byte of this class. I'll be happy if you recreate this particular floral composition using the technique I change. In this course. So far, so far, we have discussed about the basic materials required. And after that, we have discussed about how do hold of a branch and how do Lord of a bridge with colors, with paint? And we have discussed about some of the basic easier volume of strokes and some of the leaves strokes as well. And we have discussed about the nature of acrylic medium. Finally, we created some easier to leaves and floral Vaux using the basic strokes which we discussed in our previous lesson. I will be happy if you shared your project in skill share class project.
