In this class, we’re going to cover everything you need to know about Notion from a student perspective, showing you how to use the powerful tool of Notion to organize your Academic Life and to apply the 2 most effective study techniques: Active Recall & Spaced Repetition.

For those who haven’t yet tried Notion or know little about it, we’ll start with the Basics, going through all the features Notion offers one-by-one.

Part One - Building

In the first few lessons, we’ll learn how to build the different parts of an Academic System in Notion.

You’ll learn how to Create your Individual Classes, How to build a system to track your assignments and to stay on top of your classes, how to make a Revision Timetable and Quick Links.

We’ll understand the logic behind these systems through a step-by-step process that you can follow at the same with your own Notion.

Part Two - Using

Once we’ve Built our Academic System we’ll learn how to use the Toggle Feature as well as Advanced Math & Chemistry Notation.

1. Introduction: We all know that being a student is hard. Lots of classes with demanding content, constant deadlines for relevant assignments and exams and high levels of pressure to achieve the grades that we need whether it be to get accepted into university or to get more job opportunities within your desired field. Welcome to my Complete Masterclass on Notion for Students here in Skillshare, My name is Mario and as a student myself I have found Notion to be a great tool to approach my academic life in a more healthy, organized, and effective way. Basically, this class is going to be a way for me to help you achieve that. I have been using Notion for over a year now and I have found it a great way to organize my different classes with their respective notes to keep track of upcoming assignments and exams and to actually studying for my exams. As you will see, Notion does not only enable you to access your system from any place at any given time, but it also helps you improve your organization and the learning process. If you're watching this, you're either a beginner with Notion, or, on the other hand, you have already watched some videos out there on how to use it but you want a more specific approach tailored to students. This class is going to be divided into two parts, which are going to be building and using. In the building section, we will go over how to create your individual classes, how to keep track of your assignments, how to create a revision timetable and how to make quick links, we will also go over how to use the toggle feature, applying active recall in our Notion, which is a study technique, we will also learn about math and chemistry notation. So you can write a visual notes in Notion for these two subjects in I will also show you how I personally use notion. So hopefully you're gonna get some inspiration, some insights and ideas on how to use notion. Before all these, we will start with the basics for those of you guys that don't really know that much about notion. And also for those more experienced who might think that they have missed something out. Apart from this you will have free access to my Notion Student template as well as Math and Chemistry notation sheet. That you can use So I that you have it handy whenever you need it. Both of them will be in here in the Projects & Resources section. And then you can decide whether or not to duplicate my own template and maybe get started with that, or maybe do some minor adjustments. So remember that you have all that in the Projects and Resources section. This class will be great for those that just want to get started and that don't require the understanding behind the systems they are using. But it will also be a valuable guide for those. that want to get started doing some more practical stuff, building systems within notion later on. So this will give you a very good foundation on the logic and on the tools and how you can use Notion in order to make different systems. You can pause the videos at any given moment to take notes as this class is going to cover lots of staff. So you can come back to that in the future, and, after this class, you will not have only created your own academic system in Notion But you will also be able to use the features Notion offers at full potential from a student perspective. I hope you guys find this class valuable and I will see you guys on the other side. 2. Basics: So things were entered into the class and even transplant me. In this first video, we'll cover the basics of notion for those of you guys that don't already know how to use it, if you, on the other hand, already have some experience using notion, you can skip this video, but I do recommend you to stay here in case you might have missed something out. Okay, so let's get started creating a new page on notion. So physically, pages are the pillars of notion. You can do everything within them and create all types of systems, ranging from simple things such as to-do lists or bullet points, to more complex stuff such as databases like a revision timetable or a calendar, which are going to be more difficult, more advanced malware, we'll see them later on. Yes, the patient focused on lease on learning these and understanding a bit and then we can get onto the best and most complex staff VD would say so by far, the most interesting stuff as well. So we're just going to name it new page because it is going to be for showing you their features of notion in what you can play with. So as you can see, we have a blank space in here and we have lots of options in here. We can get started with an empty page. We can also use some templates which you can take a look up. You can watch them later on. You can just go in there and see the whole gallery of template. So we're just going to get started with an empty page. So I can tell you a bit of how notion works and what you can do with it. And let's go with the slash. And in here we can see we have all the options of the things we can basically do within the app. So we're gonna go through them so that you can understand them except from the databases that we won't cover in here because you learn about them later on. And they are a bit more complex. But apart from that, we will cover everything that you can see in here and yes, started. So let's start by writing some text. And for these, you don't even have to go and click this button. You just have to write. Might be fold. So whatever is right, whatever. And yes, very simple. Xhr already is its text. So let's go into the next thing which is a page in, as we already know, we create a new page going down here into the new page. But you can also do it from here to create pages within pages and you can see how they worked right here. We have another new page as before, but this page score it. Once again, whatever. This page right here, we can go and see that it's a page inside a page. So you can do pages inside pages. And that's one of the main features that makes notion such a great place to store stuff, interconnect different systems and pleasures obviously in this case. So we agreed pages within pages. And like for that till the infinite, as you can see in here, we can just create a page in Coursera page inside a page. But early on, because that's not very useful. So there's yes, get out here and try the next feature which is a to-do list. And this is pretty cool. So he has to go in here and you can write your task, your to-do. So it's a film, this video that we're filming right now. And if we completely, we can just go and hearing here and boom. It's also very aesthetic. And you can see in here it is crossed out. And here we have the tech with a blue background. Let's go. You're going to use it for your daily to do it if you want. So that's recruiters, you know about them. We're going to see the different headings we have in here. So we have three different types of headings that are in order of size. So having one, let's write whatever once again. And let's compare the three different headings or whatever. And Let's go to the other one or whatever. So you can see in here that the size changes and they are basically a bit smaller as you go down 123. And these are also very useful if you are taking notes or you seen anything with having, basically if you're writing an article. And it can also come very handy, let's go and continue. So down the headings, we get into a bulleted list, and this is just bullet points and you can write whatever. Once again it's just text. So whatever. You can also use a shortcut for this. It will basically clicking these buttons are going to be showing you right now on screen and formed. You go through this and you click Spacebar. And you have the whole point. If you don't want to go over here and going here and click, you can do that as well. Very important in note-taking and in everything. Basically, if you want to go to the shop and get some groceries, or if you're a script in a video, you can also use bullet points. And yeah, so very useful, very useful. And we go into the next one, which will be a numbered list. So a list containing numbers, but you can also do this guess, adding the number and dot and then Spacebar. And you can go in here and whatever. So I don't know physics, math, computer science. And you can see that it just goes straight down and you can see that it keeps going on. You can write til infinite number list. And yeah, so now that we know that, let us go into the next one, which will be the toggle. And this is basically one of the most useful features of notion. You will see a video, yes, uh, specifically made over these two later on in the course. But the tunnel feature is just amazing. The, the main thing of a toggle feature is that you can write something, we think something, and that keeps itself hidden. So basically, you can write whatever, once again, whatever, and you can expand this and write something beneath this. I don't know. I don't know. And you can see, we can click in here and wow, boy lab. So easiest, able to appear and disappear. And this is also very useful if you're. I'm doing some note-taking. You're with some topics. Let's say you're covering gravitational physics. And you have all the notes in here, or the notes. So you can basically hide them or just using this and now way you can keep your notes very tidy. And we will also later on see that they have more uses than this. But currently, this is already a great way to use it. So then we can go and continue. And we have the option of making a quote, Life is whatever. Let's say that. So we can just how this kind of has this design. I don't know. It's not that different from from a text by, you know, some people like it. So then we'll have a divider. There's recipe, something more aesthetic to divide your page. So now we're just gonna go and see what's the link to a page. The good thing is that in here, you can basically link any page and that is not within that page. This is a bit more complex, but you'll basically see it later on. And we can link any page that is not inside the system to enter in here. And that's very good because you can have a quick access to basically any page you need. We can, yes. No. And adding here link to my exclosure, just go here where I write everything. And we will have in here the quick link to it. So the next thing would be a call-out, which is basically just another way of texts. We saw that normal text. We saw the quote and we now see the call-out, which is basically just texts with kind of background so that I can be more visible. And you can also have an emoji in the site and you can choose from an emoji. So once again, we like saying whatever. So right, Israeli correctly. So we can see this aesthetic. And so you can change everything you want in here later on with a color. Let's say we want a pink, pink one. You can see that it changes in here and well, the customizable, and we've gone through most of them in here we have, have mentionable version, mentioned over age and date or reminder. These are known as used. We will later on use equations and stuff. So you will see that in following classes, I have a class about math and chemistry notation. Right now we'll just skip that. We're not going into the databases. So then we can yes, images at bookmarks or we can also embed a B from YouTube entering the link near. And then we're gonna also emit audio and then code if you are using this to learn computer science. And this may be a good way to these notion. You can write k any coding here for any programming language. And we're just gonna go with Python, print, hello, world it like any other code writer, a bit less complex body. You know, you can have some coding here if you're studying for computer science. And this can be very useful to have different codes in your pages. And yeah, we can also embed PDFs, Google Maps wherever I will derive frequent even at tweets, Google Maps, and then other apps that have kind of connection with notion. So this is basically everything we're going to cover in this video. We will see a bit of the equations later on. And the table of contents is just simple stuff. You can test it out yourself. And yeah, so let's just go into the next video. 3. How to Create & Organise Your Classes: So in this video, we're going to go over how to create our own class pages. We can notion so that we can later on start shrugging our exams, our assignments. And so we also have a personal space to be able to store our notes and everything related to the subjects so that you can organize your notes for more strategic and effective studying later on. Okay, so let's go and create a new page. So let's go into it. New page. In here, we're going to create our class's page. There is going to coat all classes any year. What we're gonna do is we're gonna go and start with a database. In this case it's going to be list. So go and click list, and there we go. So you can see that we have a three-phase already made, but and the air completely blank as you can see. So first we're going to create some properties and you're going to see and understand more properties. So this is going to it. So we really have a property that is the created one. We will see later on, what is it, but we're just gonna create properties. So first we're going to click properties for a last final grade. So this is Jose, final grade. So we're going here, I'm gonna say select because we're doing include some options such as an a, a, B, a, C, whatever it is, you know, knew kind of what it means. Now we're gonna go and create, for example, teacher, so that we can also have a teacher, teacher as last professor, depending on how you name it. And we're gonna go in here and do a select so we can select the teacher were also gone and go down in order to search for a URL link. And for here, we are going to use a syllabus. So in here we're gonna go and add the syllables that specification, however you want to call it. There we go. I'm going to also use year, whether it be your university or school school year or university the year. So we can track when our class took place and what we could also, even at the place, location of the class if you really want to. So we're gonna go straight into creating the pages. So we are going to enter one of these pages and when we change the name into physics, for example. So here you can already see that we have everything that we've created. We don't want this. And in here we can start to tweak things up and select, select junior teacher, whatever. Mr. wherever, you know, very integrated and syllabus as specification or you can just go and put our link. Wow, whatever yearning guests not come. And final grade, we can just register a NEH, we can register B. We can raise the a c, and then we can go and choose from these. So briefly forward location, we can just type plate. Now, we could also add Colbert, an icon for physics. So I could just go and say It's Mozart's time of physics. So like space. There we go, good, even light for physics. And we will also cover, we're going to go and do that. So changed cover. You already have by gathering here from an splash, which is great. And you can just go and put whatever you want to hear. Says put our Albert Einstein here. Preposition, Woo. Kinda scary though. So you can kind of get thing. And then here we could, yes, great whatever. So we will later on see how to make this a bit better. But you already have the pillars, the basics for how to create your own class within notion any later on new couldn't hear at your notes. So I don't know, we could create a page for a topic five, gravitational physics. And we're gonna go and just type our notes in here. So this is great. We're gonna use some of the things we code in the basis x one. So as you can see, them entering into plates basic formula, Let's go formula. We're gonna learn about foamy layer on. But yes, I don't know whatever formula. And then you can also use toggles or oscillator on Medea. You can basically get the logic of this and we have already created our fares glass or notion. And you can do basically the same with these other two and then create another one and yes, do the same. So we're just going to go into the next video. 4. How to Keep Track of Your Assignments: In this second video of the Boolean section of this class, we're going to learn how to build a system for you to get started tracking your exams and assignments so that you never, ever again, four, get a deadline and are able to get started working on something before cramming becomes the only option. So this will not only serve as the ETL planner and organization system, but it will also help you come up beards to procrastinate, as you will clearly see in advance, where exactly you have to do for which subject and for when that has to get done. So let's just get straight into it. So you can see we have started a new page and we have written course t2 plus calendar. And this is going to be where we're going to do the system. So let us just go straight into building it. So let's just start by using a table. And well, we already have this course to do plus calendar and we have a table. So we're going to start adding some properties. And for that, we are just gonna go in here. And first we're going to name the title, basically the title of the objects we are gonna be entering into the system. They are going to be called assignments, as they are going to be the tasks we need to accomplish and to complete for our course, then we're going to start adding other properties. So such as class, which is going to be the type of assignment we have. So this is going to go here interested. Let me take this out because we don't want tax routine. You're adding properties. So the next property would be subject. So we can categorize each assignment for each subject. So we're going to hear once again and to select, and there we go. Now we're gonna go and add a view. So we are going to write new for the time that the assignment is due for. We're also going to add checkbox so that we can have a complete and we can track whether or not that thing has been done. So there we go. And apart from that, we are also going to add the grade just text so that we can have a great host to our assignment, whatever it is, if it's an exam, or if it's a discussion, or if it's an essay. And we can have the grade right over there. So now that we have finished all our properties, I'm going to change the order of them so they're a bit more intuitive. So first going to be the class than a subject. That's going to be the due date and then the complete and the Great. Yes, that looks very intuitive. So I'm just going to enter an assignment using the example we used before of gravitational physics. Let's just enter gravitational physics. And we are going to copy these so we can use different classes and subjects. So first class, we're going to create the types of assignments. So it will be unexamined. Discussion, NSA, homework. And then we also add a quiz. And now we have all the categories for the class of assignment. So we can just add them straight away. So let's say this rotational physics thing is an exam, and this one is homework. And this one is a quiz. You say that. So then we can also create our subjects. So let's create Physics one and physics to, that's it. So we can add in here, for example, physics one and then Physics one, and then physics too. So we can compare with the subjects. And then we can also add the due date. And for that, we can use this. And for example, say this is for the 30th of December, eighth. And then let's say this is for the fourth random numbers. So we can see later on, and then we will have here the complete to know we have done it or not. And then in here, we could also have a selecting here too, enter a different types of grades. And then to be able to choose like a, B, or C Madre. Now, losing a little bit like that, another important thing is to sort. And for this we're gonna go into the due dates and we're going to sort it by descending the faraway tasks before. And the other ones that we have already done or that we should already have done are a bit down. So much important. And there we go. So basically we already have the table. So now what we're going to do is to create a candle. So as it's going here to add bu. And in here we're going to go into calendar and we're going to name this calendar. You know, we're not there. We also create and in here we're going to have a calendar. And as you can see, we already have some stuff in here. The three events, the three assignments that I made up, they are already in there. So I'm just gonna go in here and going to the properties and we can see that they have the same properties as the table. So we're just gonna go and activate and you can see that things start to pop up. So once we have activated everything, we can see that we already have lots of information here. We have accountable in which we can cross things out. We know from which subject gives it for, when is it did they wouldn't be useful anyway. So we as activate all this. And we're gonna take this off because we're in no date because they are in here already. So we see everything very clearly. And yeah, I really like this because we can also complete in here and that's done. So it's a great way to have a nice calendar. So apart from this, we can also create a view that is for just this week. So we're gonna do that right now. And in this case, it is going to be a list. We already have the task, but they are in sorted out. So what we're gonna do right now and also activate all the properties. And we're going to go into Filter right now where we're gonna do is the effect in order to achieve the highest a selection of the week so that we only have those tasks that are needed for the week ahead. So for that, we're going to go into Q and we're gonna go to ease within. And we're gonna go into the next week. So in here we already know that the only thing we have for next week will be gravitational physics exam. So you can already see here that it has filtered things out. And here what we could also sort this descending so that we have the most recent on the top. So we can do that as well. That due dates. Descending. We could also do that. And yeah, so that's a great way as well to see what we have ahead of the week. And now we're going to create one view, which is going to be for the entire month. So we can see the month ahead. So this month and this once again is going to be a table. So this is going here and create. So we can see here that by now it is the same as the default. More or less, at least. It's similar just a bit not sorted out, but yeah, so we're gonna do right here, once again, apply a filter that is going to enable us to only filtered those that are within the month ahead. So we're going to go in here, our filter NGO in todo, we're gonna go and use ease within the next month. So we've already seen here that currently is its 27th of December. And I can see that within the next month I have this thing's gone. That's also a great way to see what's ahead. We can have all these views that are gonna help us a lot. This basically the general one. Then we have a calendar in which you can see when do we have our assignments in a more kinder view. And then we also filter them by just the following week. So we can focus just on those tasks. And then we can also have those for the month so that we can look ahead. This is basically we grow, so yes, change things in here, make it a little bit more tightly. But that would basically be, or we're going to do, is to see how this links with a glass roof had before in which we created our classes are only below classes. So now we're gonna see how to integrate this system inside our classes. So let's go into our classes. So this is a great integration because we could have a huge template like this one in which we have all our classes and insider classes. We have those things we need to complete. So this is basically the template you get. I think there's a link somewhere down here, so you should be able to get it. But as you can see in here, we can sort things by subject, just as we did in that trial. So the good thing is I have a huge system including all our tasks and all our views so that we can have everything very, very clean, very tidy, very sorted out. So right here, we're going to end this video and let's go into the next video. We typing your love. So as it straight into creating a revision timetable. 5. How to Create a Revision Timetable (Spaced Repetition): In this third video of the building part of this class, we will look into how to create a revision timetable, which to many of us has been great in helping us with revision policy in our knowledge of the contents for the last months, weeks, or even days before the final exam. So this is for me one of the best systems that are going to be inside this course with the one you saw before of the kinder and the table for the assignments. So I think this one is a bit easier to do and to understand what is going to be key in your effective studying. It helps you seen a study technique called spaced repetition, which basically consists on revising content so that you never ever lose the concepts. So your memory keeps up to date with it and you are able to retain more effectively the theory, the concepts. So we're just going to go into building one straight away so you can see how it works. So you can see we already started a new page and we have named it revision timetable. So Origen time table is basically a table, as evening obviously says. So we're just gonna go and create a table. So now that we have a table, we're just going to get started working with the properties and staff. In this case going to be ways here and way more basic. And what we have been seen for the last two videos in energy is going to be changing the title is we can do in here, are in there. So we're going to name the title topics because normally we want to have a subject divided into topics so we can focus on each of them and evaluate them separately. Because evaluating your knowledge on a huge topic and also making sure that you are covering everything. It is very difficult to, without using a specific topics. So in here we will have different topics. So let's go and have some topics. I don't know, I'm just going to continue with the physical sample I used before. So seduce electromagnetism. Let's use as well gravitational. Then as well, I'm going to use mechanics versus US mechanics. And then one for fluids. So you can see a bill. So now that we have our topics, we are going to change this into text. And this is going to be called breadth one. Basically, our first repetition, the time we're gonna go and cover everything and evaluate our understanding of the topic. So basically, the way to work with these would just be to add the date of your revision. So today, for example, is 27 December 2020. So that's running. So this will be the date in which we have revise this. And we would next to that add value. So we can basically give a tangible measure to our understanding of the topic. So we can do that in many different ways. We can do it in a more minimalistic way. Yes. And in, for example, four out of five or eight out of ten, wherever you want, you know, you can work with whatever scale you feel more comfortable with then for those guys that like flashy and interesting stuff. But we can also use emojis for those of you guys that like that. So I mean, dashboard doing this. You could also copy paste or Arno. How do they do it? But you can add them. Oh, yes. So we could add a stars certainly is going to go and search for a start hearing my touch bar. Yeah, so it will be a nice way to do it. So you could do, for example, four out of five. So this will also be a nice way to evaluate our learning. For 5-stars, we grow. So use colors. Emojis too, for example, we did badly. We can use these one. If we did less badly, we could also use this one. And then if we did more or less, we could use these one grade. We will also use this one. So we would play with whatever notation we feel is nice and we are comfortable with this visually as the reader of customization. So they'll basically will be the thing, how to work with it. And then we would create more repetitions because we weren't just study onetime atomic. So let's say we're up to, and then let's say grep 3D. So in here we already have everything prepared, 43 repetition. And we will also use this not only to track ourselves, but to know which things should we cover. So let's imagine that we, the, say we did three out of five in here and with the, and here four or five make it a bit more clear. So let's say we did these two on, these days. And we're, for example, on day 29 of 12 to one. So we would use the results we had before to know which one we should tackle first, we would focus on the one that we are in asker so that they prioritize doing the one we got 3.5. And the good thing of this is that then we could evaluate how our performances on each one answers. And this is a great way to be able to, as I said, use space repetition and we can keep track of the dates and repetitions of our topics. And he's also a great way to evaluate ourselves, to test ourselves, which is also called active Rico. And it is basically that the space repetition, they are considered the most important and most useful as study methods. So from this table, we can basically prepare an exam and I have personally used it and when pretty, pretty gray. So for example, in here is an exam I did more or less recently as I'm a Spanish, I did cameras examination of English. And in here we can see that I use the repetitions and I used it to be able to track which type of questions I struggle the most with. And I was able to improve. And as you can see, more or less, there are more or less improved results. And Indiana, I really did a great exam thanks to this, I was able to cover all the different types of questions and I was also able to evaluate myself on them in a very detailed way. You've seen these revision timetable. So I hope this was useful and I hope this time table also helps you. And let's get straight into the next class. 6. How to Create Quick Links: In this last video of the building part of Nick's class, we're going to learn how to create quick links within notion that we can make notion not only a part of our academic system, multi-center of it. So you can know starting to Notion and I have access to all the external resources that you need within a matter of seconds without having to go into the Internet and search for them. This video is going to be quite short, but I found it very important to me in this class as it is a huge detail that is going to change the game when approaching our academic productivity doors, getting more things done in less time. So let's just go straight into it. So here we are inside Notion, inside a page and you base that we have created called weak links. So in here, I'm just going to show you how to basically make the links. So it is just very simple. We can link anything we want related to our academic life. So I'm just going to use, for example, calendar, calendar. And I'm also going to use Google Classroom for example, which right now is being extremely used by students, including me. With the pandemic, our schools and universities are using Google Classroom as a way to basically half a classroom, a digital classroom. So that's also a pretty useful thing to have. Now, we're also going to add a Google Drive, for example. This is just random stuff. You don't really have to add these. You can add whichever you want, but I'm going to show you how to do it. So let's go and select the kinda basically go over it so that we can have the option of adding a link. So in here, we're going to add a link and we would add the link to our column. So it's going to copy that. And I'll tell you right now. So now that I've copied it, we can link to a page and we can see that is clickable and it shows the link as well. So 30. And this is basically the concept screen here and have access to our kinder. So very easy, very quick. So now we're good customize these mega bit more flashy because this is maybe a bit to minimize for some. So for example, let's use Google Classroom as an example. In week that a monkeys and everything to make it more flashy. So we're just going to go and we could add an emoji, for example, an arrow or something like that to show that it's a link. So we are just going to go in here and search for it. So this ammonia, for example, would be quite nice in Week. Good. We got the link here, linked to webpage, and there we go. And that looks a bit better. So that's nice. Apart from this week, Rosso, use change the color of the letters and of the background. So that's also customizable. You can use a yellow one and we want, you can use another all types of backgrounds in here. So we could use an orange background. Let's go and say that. So it's down to a bead out. So yeah, that's basically it. And we would then add any other emojis or how we want to customize it. Monday thing would be to have it in your main page that you'll be able to create once you know everything for how to create a class, how to create the kind dining here, so you can hide all in the same page. So you could also have a central page of your academic system. You could have these links so that you have quick access to wherever you need. So yeah, so that's basically it. We would class but just wanted to let you know that this is an option. And there it is a very good option indeed. And yeah, so just go into the next class. How to Use the Toggle Feature (Active Recall): In this first video of using section of this class, we are going to cover how to use the toggle feature in notion. Basically there are two unconventional static techniques, code active recall and space repetition, that are proven by scientific psychological studies that they are the best techniques we've already learned, a way to apply space repetition. You seen reaching time table in which we can track when we review topic and keep our evaluation of the topic in there so that we can see our progression and make sure that we test ourselves repeatedly on the knowledge. But now we're going to learn a way to apply active Rico, also called active retrieval, to insist on testing yourself on concepts and therefore trying to recall, retrieve, and remember the concepts that you are trying to learn. So the toggle is going to be the way to apply active record to our studying in notion. This feature is incredibly simple, but it is possibly the most useful feature notion offers from a CD-ROM perspective. So let's go and see how to use the toggle. So you can see this time we are going to start with a blank page. I already prepared these so that I can go through it. And so you can see the logic behind using the toggle feature. So by now you should already be able to make the toggle EVDO and what the basics and you still don't know it. It is quite simple. You just have to click the slash n-type toggle. So go and using here toggle list, so it has harvest. And then we can write whatever we want. So yeah, bears right wherever. Once again, as we did in the basis e1 and in here we could also add an answer or something within this toggle so we can hide it later on and test ourselves on whether or not we know this answer. So let's just go into the next video. 8. Math Notation: In this video, we're gonna go over how to use math notation in notion. Many people including me, half for that notion is moderate, but only for those students that are closer to medical and language studies. However, notion of adequate way to do math, notion uses the K-S test library to render math equations and includes a great variety of latex functions, living technical details QSIF, basically, latex is a programming language that makes math symbols, so there's a straight into it. So you can see we are in a blank page, in a brand new page. So it says math notation in religion. They go over everything you need to know. Basically, I also wanted to tell you guys that you have nothing chemistry notation sheet in the project and Resources page. So you can go and have after we go through all this and they're doing fine circuits and everything you need. So yeah, let's just go straight into it. So first we have to know that there are two ways in which we can write math notation. The first one is through inline equation. Okay, so in here, we would write whatever some Islam and go and write the most simple thing. We can write the formula a straight line. So after this, I wanna show you the other type, which is the Bloch equation. And there we go. And basically the difference between these is that they enlightened easiest in the line. It's a smaller and is one of the four margin of the page. So we can see that we are at the same thing and it's just centered. So it's basically the same thing. So once we know that there are two types which are the inland and the blog equation. So we're just going to get straight into it as we've mass that you can use an inline inner block equation to make chemistry notation, we're mainly going to use inline rigorous is the most used and the easiest to use as well. So yeah, stranger. So as r by a simple equation, so you can see how it works. So like H2, there we go, this straightforward enough. Plus O2. And then for the arrow, we're gonna go in here and say Right Arrow. And there we go. And let's say H2O. So there we go. And yeah, so in here we should balance this. And yeah, and then I also lead, oh, my poetry stuff in here. Having all the poems, as you can see, is amazing. I use these facilities was the most important and useful thing for which I used notion before. And I recently learned every single poem thanks to this, in the fact that you are able to have an icon, an emoji, having it's pretty good because you got already relate each poem to an emoji, to something you can understand and you can retrieve later on in the exam. So for example, if I wanted to retreat a poem when I was in example sample, I get this one by several doctrine plenty. In what I would do is I know that I have this icon, which will be the water. So this has to do something with water. So I know plenty is a poem that talks about the contrast of the author's life when he her childhood CV than half, basically anything including water. Do you have any water? She talks about droughts and now she says that sees in a luxurious place has tons of water. A good way of memorizing this is y using this. So yeah, I mean, as you can see, I have everything here including a brief summary, the former instructor that bush and tone, language, things sort of a way to understand the poems. Just tie them.
