About This Class

In this course you will not learn how to design slides. Instead you will learn about the concept of presenting in its entirety, be it at corporate meetings, in sales pitches, or during product events. I will teach you various tools and tricks to being an effective presenter, able to deliver your content in an impactful and memorable way. You can apply these skills to whatever goals you have that involve presenting.

Every time we present, we’re always trying to convince and sell. And when we have a huge screen behind us, the effect of our words should be even more powerful. But this is rarely the case. Presentations end up dull and incoherent. Complicated slides confuse both the audience and the speaker. I bet you saw presentations of this nature a million times.

So this course is for those of you who want to disrupt the status quo and start doing fascinating, interesting, and simply understandable presentations. From now and forever!

The course covers the following aspects:

- What "presentation" actually means;

- How to prepare correctly;

- How to make your message accessible and fun;

- How to do it yourself.

This course is suitable for:

- Corporate employees looking to advance their careers;

- Startup entrepreneurs refining their investor pitches;

- College graduates starting their careers.

The great news is that there are no special technical requirements for participants. If you ever made a presentation with slides or plan to do it in the future, this course is for you!

The course will enable you to share the project with other students on the platform in order to get feedback by recording yourself giving a presentation and uploading your recording for peer and teacher feedback. To complete the course you will be required to upload at least one full presentation in which you apply the skills taught (more details in Class Project description).

There is no prior knowledge required to take this class. Software requirements include Zoom, any presentation software convenient for you (such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi or Google Presentation). You will need a computer and a smartphone.

Meet Your Teacher

Hi there! Welcome to my page!

I am a seasoned expert in public & government relations with 18+ years of experience under my belt. I am an acting member of the Board of Directors in a large multinational corporation.

My previous work experience included tobacco, alcohol, car manufacturing, and the mobility industry.

A substantial part of my work involved presentations and public speaking. I consulted numerous companies on how to incorporate business storytelling and add pizzazz to their presentation and slides.

During this time, I've come up with a few rules of my own that can help anyone radically change their lives within the corporation by making their presentations fascinating, interesting, and simply understandable. Regardless of whether you are a yo... See full profile
