About This Class
Music has been an important part of the human experience as far back as our historical records reach, and cultures all around the world have used sound and music to heal and communicate for thousands of years. Recent studies show that music can help speed recovery time from surgery, reduce the need for pain medication and anesthesia, boost memory, recover loss of speech, elevate mood, promote calm, deepen sleep, and even improve the taste of wine. No experience is needed for this class, just bring your love of music and a desire to improve your quality of life. Learn how to choose the right music for your highest level of health and well-being. Create a playlist, and share it with others to spread the good vibrations!

Lisabeth's work in musical medicine has the potential for revolutionizing how we respond to, or better yet, parent anxieties, depression, lack of focus, procrastination, distress, and illness. As a nurse with 30 years experience, I see opportunity for music as either complementary to or in replacement of pharmacological interventions.
I'm a lifelong musician, vocalist, artist, and writer, and an expert in all things Humanities. I have a master of arts degree in musicology, I'm a trained Vibrational Sound Therapist (VST), and also a member of Jonathan Goldman's Sound Healers Association.
My specialty bundles components of neuroscience, somatic psychology, physics, and art into a musical package that's easy to understand and personalize for individual and collective health and well-being. Whether you want to improve physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual aspects in your life, music and sound can help, and I want to show you how to use it!
