About This Class

This class is the number 11 in the Music theory series and is dedicated to learn what a chord progression is and which are the two basic progressions in music. If you want to go deeper into music theory understanding chords and how this is related to your playing, this course is for you. Even that taking the previous classes is recommended, if you are familiar with chords and scales, specifically major scales,

you would not find this class difficult.

This class is divided in lectures which explain:

- What is a chord progression?

- Tonal functions.

- Understanding the I IV V I chord progression.

- Understanding the I VI II V I chord progression.

- Exercises using chords with the seventh.
