1. Introduction : I'm Submarino, architect designer on three. The artist from Giorgio. Today we are going to cover motion tracking in cinema 40. I started learning this after my graduation. What? I continued to express my artistic vision, but with different. I jumped from papers 23 days afterwards. More than architectural work. I start a Serie Off experiments in three D Software's. At first it was just for me. It fed my passion, my vision off artistic life. But after that, I started to get called for work that I created my own design company, the Maverick box. In today's class, we are going to your cinema four d toe a three d object a real life for stage. First, we are going to export the footage in a secret off J by fires using evidence. After then, we take to cinema four D to make the track and using the new motion tracker off version released 20 toe at our three d object. Then we are going to render it. Finally, we are going to compose everything in Adobe Premiere Pro. This is a really good start point for beginners who want to be Tedy and Vfx artists. Once I had my own thing. I start to feel more freedom. Now I have more time to learn new skills like photography and a didn't. When you complete your project, make sure to upload it in the gallery. I can't wait to see all your projects and let's get started. 2. Adjusting and Preparing your Footage : So first we are going took over How toe are just our foot age and preparing it for cinema four D. U. Is in an editing software. We are going to fix it by changing the Contras and the situation than we export in it In an image sequence off J backfires today I'm using Premier prove You don't have to worry. If you don't have it, you can use any other editing software. This step is very important because it's going to effect the quality off our truck and later in cinema for the upload your footage. Bar DoubleClick in the projects partner. Select your footage and hit open selected and drug it into this little box. So it shows up in the timeline manager. I'm using this footage that I shot with a GoPro hero. Five. It came a very flood. We almost have no colors, and it's very bright in some areas. It was a foggy day. This is the worst case for sure. I can be considered for the candidate texture like points on a flat video. It uses the contrast, but we are going to fix that. To do so. Go to the project's panel click on new item adjustment layer hit okay and drug it on top off our footage. By the way, let's a little audio. If you're gonna need it later, you can keep it. See like the adjustment layer and go to the limit. Treetop. If you can't see the remission tub, go to window and say, like Dimitri Color senses a video is flat. Let's modify the contrast. Change it to 50 or, um, maybe 70 this change. Or for the blocks minus 50. Maybe that's a good if I click on this, I you can see clearly that the difference between before and after, let's tweak also the situation for 120. Now our footage is looking better than it was before. If you need more modification on your foot age, you can go to the razor tool or hit see on the keyboard to cut your video. You can also go to the effect control. You can tweak the rotation or maybe scale it a little bit. It depends on what you have when you finish with the modification, go to fire export media, go to form eight. We have to render it in an image sequence like PNG and Tiff today. I'm using the J. Paige much, sir. Sounds good as choose a specific location to export it. And you folder, Name it like a then hit export. So we finish this first lesson. See you next time with cinema four D. 3. Motion Tracking In Cinema 4D: in this lesson. We are going to open the new City mall for the motion tracker. The new layout, designed for the version released 20 and they released 21. Then we are going to upload our footage on Blast. We are going to make full salt, so we are in cinema for day. Toe open the new motion tracker Loyalty. Click on Window Customization layouts Motion Tracker. We can see that the interface has changed, the material manager has gone, and we have all these little buttons here that will help us with shark in in just few steps . Click on the first button that says Motion tracker Toe a motion tracker Object or double click on the motion tracker of you Both will bring up the motion tracker Top. Now let's abroad are foot age. Click on this little button here, go to the location of your footage that we exported earlier in the first lesson. Select the first image and hit open. This will load your entire friends. You don't have to say like them all because anymore for the knows, it's an image sequence. You can drag this arrow to check your foot age or just hit play. Let's get back to our footage Style underfoot. Age we have the resemblance. This defines your footage Quality in the view port by default cinema from decided to 33.33% . So you're seen Want to be so heavy you can change it if you want a better quality. I'm just gonna leave it like that. By the way, this won't affect you. Render quality. Then we have some other information about our footage Like the film aspect and the number or frames the number off frames has something to do with your original video frame rate, which means if you have 10 seconds video, shoot it in 30 frames per second. You are going to help 300 frames in cinema four D. So next we are going back to those buttons and hit food Soul. So what does it mean full sold? If we look at this, my right here we noticed that Cinema four D is preloaded our footage processing frames, running three diesel over doing pretty optimization and the optimization off our footage. The steps that you would do separately in the previous versions off Cinema four D. You can skip them all in just one click. This is why I choose this version for beginners in just few steps so easy to use and to memorize, even if you're familiar with cinema for the This will save you a write off time now. Cinema four D has finished solving. We noticed this little paying circles or triangles. They represent our check points. If I click on one off them, the area around it pops up in the Emotion tracker track of you. If you click out some Red and Green Point's going to show up on our footage, if we click on the motion tracker and hit this. Plus, we noticed that now we have a camera. If we click on this box right here, we go out of the premier of you. We can see the View Port and the camera with many during 100 circles. Let's click again on this box to go back to the common of you. Let's see what we have also. Now, if I click on auto future, we can see all the track opponents that are presented on the few report. As we scroll down, we see that the green points are fading and turning into red. Actually, the green poor answer present the good track points. The red ones are not good to use in charge. And if we scroll through our footage, we noticed that the green points are the ones who last longer on the red once disappeared. By the end of our footage, let's choose the 1st 1 since it lays in the area where I want to put my three d object and drag it out. This is a very sold truck in It has no sleeping in this area. Let's try it. If it's assorted one, create a box, jog that box into the point we choose and make sure the arrow is pointing them. Go to object and change the size because it's very big for our scene, then zero or positions. This is really good, actually. Let's click out to see the different views change the position. Maybe that's joke. Drug it so we can see the entire object as we like by we can say that the hard work has finished. Let's meet in the next step where we are going to upload our three D model, which is the car 4. Importing your 3D Models : in this lesson, we are goingto applaud our 30 model. Put it into the scene and they're under it back to our scene with this little box. Now if I hit, render or we are going to see is the books on a black space to make the footage shows in background, Go to motion tracker, Go to the footage Tub hit, Create background Object Now if I hit render, We're going to see the entire environment where my object lays I will hide this cube and bring my three d model Go to fire Merge! She was the modern hit Open drug it into our track point. Make sure arrow is pointing down. Go to codes zero All positions you can feel that you're seeing has become more heavy. This is due to the three d modern Jog it a little bit at this point. Depend on the visuals Put it in a good position for the Camaro. Take her time and see what works with your sin. The chicken is actually really good on this one. Now let's create a shadow for the car. Create disk, Go to the top of you. I just said to our modern rotated the access so it lines out with our model. Make it inevitable. Andi. Scale it on their sides. You can always go to the four views and Jack how it looks from the different sides to make sure it's a nine. We are trying to create something similar to the shadows off the other objects. In our footage, we gonna create a new material. Go to the start of play out click window Customization Lie Oats Startup. The We click on the Material Monitor to create a new material, double click on it and share cooler on Jack. Reflect ins, Jack. Only transparency. Go to fixture, radiant. Click on it. Choose to a deserter there. Apply it on our desk hit render to check it. Maybe I will drag the blacks towards the whites to create some sort of black hello beneath it and make it look like it fades on the edge. I think it looked dark. Let's make it great. I will add another wise to get rid off that defined edges. I think this looks good. Let's around the roads. Go to the render settings Chuck. If it's in 30 frame per second, chooses, render all frames go to, say, chose allocation for your render. Create a foreigner. Name it head. Okay, now the format. Choose the tiff. Since we're going to render with Alpha Channel, we are going to render without a background on Compose everything in adobe career, Bro, don't forget to hide the background hit lender. So you in the next lesson with the composite. 5. Compositing in Adobe Premiere Pro: in this lesson, we are going to do the composite in an adobe premiere Pro. We are going to upload the three D object were under the incentive for D on drug it on our footage. Then we are going to apply more effects to blend toe objects and make him look like they belong to the same context. To do so, double click on the project top. Choose the first picture. Make sure that a much sequence is checked and hit open jacket on top Off the video Off our footage, you will notice that it's a little bit longer. It's OK. You can shrink it down by two weekend refrigeration to make it a line and sing with our footage video. Let's check it again. The scene is really heavy. As you can see, we are going to add some effects on our model to make it much up with the environment. Go to the project top, create a new adjustment layer hit, okay, drug it on top off all the other videos. Put it on first position because we want to effect both of the three d model under scene. But let's drag down the contrast off our model. First, it looks best darker than our footage. Select it. Go to limit tree. I will do like minus 20 O. R. Minus 30. Let's go back to the adjustment layer selected. Go to the effect stop. You can find it in window if you can see it. Let's add Channel Blur to make some coolers. Pop drug. The effect on the video her We can make the modification. That's odd. Summered. Then maybe this will make the right shows off warmer on both of the car on the ground and make them look like they belong to the same context. Andi, like, were shooted with the same camera. It doesn't show, so I will change the blending mode to light him. Let's add some other colors. Change the bringing to five the blue to town. I think it looks good when you're done with your project, you can export it. Go to fire expert medium through the form eight h 80.264. She was output name and where you want to place it, then hit export 6. Conclusion: So we came up to the end off this journey. Congratulations for complete In this class we covered everything from a Justin and exporting our quotation Adobe Premiere Pro Churkin and added three d objects in cinema 40 rendering on the final touches to export in our final project.
