About This Class

In this class, students will be given the tools and understanding to compose their own amazing black and white photographs.

Students will build their theoretical knowledge and their practical skills with one goal in mind: allowing the camera to become an extension of their bodies, and vice versa.

Black and white photography is a great basis for understanding photography - after accomplishing their first project for this class, students will feel comfortable with how black and white photography works. The class also covers several concepts which can be applied to any kind of photography.

a great example of "do it old school... but with your own rules"
There was a lot of information given in a short period of time. I like the project assignment which I am still working on. This is something I will continue to do with my Photography. A project makes me very focused. I highly recommend this class.
This class is for beginners new to film. Alot of solid advice. I didnt quite understand the project assignment, but her main emphasis of shoot less and frame your shot, understand what you want to accomplish in the photo, were strong points.
