About This Class

This class is for people who want to create mobile app prototypes with the help of their JavaScript and React Skills.

I'm going to show how to setup a development machine, iPhone and Android Tablet. Then we going to implement a simple todo list.

Important

I will run the app on the iOS simulator on a mac in my screen cast with:

yarn run ios

you will have to run:

yarn start

if you want to run it on your physical device via Expo-client and barcode.

Also, I forgot to add that you need to install glamorous-native before you can start. You can install it with:

yarn add glamorous-native

Some additional documentation:

Software Consultant

Hey!

I'm a software consultant from Germany.

Currently I'm developing mobile applications with the help of React-Native and try to tell my clients that UX is something worth paying for.

I have over 10 years of experience as developer, both in web and mobile, mostly front-end, but I also created a few APIs in my time.

I'm trying this "video teaching" stuff for the first time so I don't know if it's worth your and my time, haha.

Hope you like my classes!
