Project Description

Don't wait until you have finished the course to start posting your class project! If you do the exercises as you go along and share them with us, you will learn much more!

ASSIGNMENT

Paint A Tarte

The final assignment for this course is to paint a piece of fruit or a leaf using all the techniques that you learned in this course. Try to be realistic in your color choice. An excellent painting will have a range of shades and colors including lights and darks as well as both saturated and unsaturated color.

WHAT YOU SHOULD UPLOAD

Start your class project as soon as you can! You don't have to be finished with your painting. Please share your charts and your palettes with us as well!

Your complete project should include:

  • A list of the colors you chose for your split primary palette
  • The swatches you did of your six colors
  • Your color wheel
  • At least one of the different types of charts that were explored during the class ( Palette Mixing, Watercolor Spectrum, Tonal Chart..)
  • Your painting of a┬átarte

If you have any questions about any of this, don't be afraid to ask!

RESOURCES

Make sure to check out the attached resources! I have included templates for each of the charts , a photo and outline of the tarte, as well as a list of the materials that I love working with myself.

MY LINKS

Don't be a stranger! I'd love to see you elsewhere around the Internet!
