1. Introduction: Hello. I'm not trying to hypnotize you here. I'm trying to teach you how to make such an animation. I'll go over a quick, simple and very entertaining workflow off how to create certain animation. We will create all the layers were create old elements, will restrict the layers, will create this nice background. Then we will add some go some depth into it. And finally we will look this animation. So this will be our aunt. Result. Not only circles can be used obviously any type of objects. Any type off shape can be used here in the middle. So let us go ahead inside the class and let's learn how to do this very nice product. 2. Make it pulse: all right. Our first step will be to make a circle and make it pulls. We'll create something like that. So let's jump right in. So I o click here to create a new composition and having a totally weird composition, I will change it to full HD 1920 per 10 80 30 frames and five second. Well, let's make it seven. Just in case we need more space to work with. Okay, this is our very first composition. And I'll press control K to open my composition settings. You can also go here the composition, composition, settings and I'll call it Eco. Now I can work on the first object. I'll open up my title action safe clicking this button. Just so I see, we're in the Middle East. I'll go here and I will decide to work with an ellipse too. You can, of course, work with different shapes. But for the basics. For the first time you do it. We can work with on the lips and I want to stroke not a film. So I click on Phil. No, please. I click on stroke. Yes, please. Okay. From here I will make a circle. I press my shift key. So it's in perfect proportions and holding down the shift key. I'll also hold down the control key. So now I'm snapping from the middle. Okay? I want us to be fairly weak because this is like our background. Okay, so I have this circle. It's a regular circle with a 10 point stroke. Let's make it 10 just to be equal. No, I think I can de select the title action safe. Having that, I'll go within the shape layer within this ellipse. Let me open it up. I have the Lipstadt as I take on the Alex Pat, I have my size. So I will go to two seconds or maybe one second, 15 frames. This is the amount of time I want the animation to play. I will go right at the beginning and I'll press zero Now we have an animation like that. Okay, We have one grow here, but I would like this to be pulsating. I would like more off those circles. So there was a reason why I called this this composition echo. It's because I want to show you the effects and presets. The echo effect, the echo effect takes a lot off work from us because we can simply duplicate the circle as many times as we want for the beginning. Please make about 16 or 20 times and work with echo time. I just like my control key to make it slower. But you want a negative value, a slight negative value. About 0.1, maybe 1 50 Let's see how that looks. OK, so this will be our first animation. Really mesmerizing, isn't it? And maybe I'll drop this up so I have more circles. This simply will play this animation longer. Okay, I think for the very first lesson we are done. We have our circle. It pulsates, it pulls. It's pretty fast. So in my opinion, we may be overdone it with the number of echoes or this little delay. Yeah, it's a bit slower. Okay, I have negative point to. This will be a tiny bit slower with later. We can still remap that. Let us take a break right here. And in the next lesson, we'll try to make something different noted, and we will try to restrict the area off this entire animation 3. Prepare the coloristic: Hey, in this lesson, I will show you how to prepare it to be ready for work. We'll have it pre composed. We'll have it colored. We'll have it extended until seven seconds. So we have a continuous innovation playing seven seconds along. Okay, The second step will be to colorized it properly. And maybe I could make it a bit bigger. So I don't see the the white overlaying each other lines so I could simply go here, go to the contents. To the slaves to the ellipse pat. And here on the second key frame, I could make it bigger, like, really big. So it extends over the screen If I want to have such a big composition. Well, naturally, if you would need more off those lines, you can always go to the echoes and you can change the echo time. I'll change the echo time. So we have bit more of them. Okay, Like do a negative 1 50 and the number off echoes. I'll up the number of echoes because I want this animation to work at least to the end of the seven seconds. Oh, you can see I have not enough. Okay? Like 50 of them. That's completely enough to have seven seconds filled. Now this is my animation and I'll press control shift seat to pre compose it. You can also right click, Click on pre composed and I am coloring you. I'm naming this composition like that because I want to go here to add colors. Now you have two options here. Radiant. You have the four colored radiant, which was previously in Adobe Aftereffects es six called like four gate Radiant or something like that. And we can drop that down to have four colors or we simply right ramp and you have the Grady Int ramp. It was also differently called in Adobe after Xia six. I guess it was simply called Ramp, and we have two colors Now. Those two cars, you can decide upon which colors you want. You can, for example, go to adobe color teams in the newer versions of After effect. I have it in window extensions. It'll be color teams, and I could select colors like that I'd be making Let me place that here and boom, boom. I guess those colors will work together pretty OK now, having that ready, you are almost done with the animation. Now we need something to restrict the area of this information, and I will show you two ways. One simple and one advanced on how you can attack that. 4. A simple revealer: Okay. Hey, In this lesson, I will show you how to simply restrict this object with a mask. Okay. Now comes the really fun part. When it comes to restricting the area off this animation, we can do it very simply. We can select any object. Really? Like any rectangle. We can try to go from the middle and we can mask it out. So this would work like that. If you don't want to mask it, you can simply de select everything, create a new shape, make a fill for this shape instead of a stroke on this shape. And then on the second layer, you can simply select all format, and it will also be covered with this shape. This would be a simple restriction. Well, it's a bit too fast. Remember, If you want to change the quickness, you can lower the echo time. Now it will go a lot slower. Okay, I'm in the echo composition and I can see what I've preferred where this is decent. But let me delete that and show you how to make it more like a cube. So a cube would look really good. You can simply go to the tool box. Click here and select the polygon tools. Now I also like the Polygon Tool, and once again, I'll try to come from middle. Now, if you don't have a polygon like that, just press up or down. I want to have six corners. Okay, Once I have the corners established, I select shift and I make it like that with my shift key. So I would prefer if this did look a little bit more three d. So I want to adjust the points off this box. How to do this? Very simply, you can see the police star and I haven't post are packed. I need to right click and converted to bestir pad. Now. When they hit the selection tool and they hit the path, I'll be able to adjust the points. Note that if you are using adobe after effects, see a six or the previous versions, you did not have the right click option convert to busier pat. In order to get a best year pat on older versions, you need to select the left old key. Why creating this shape you can see instead off shaped like this when you had the old key. You get an empty shape. So this indicates you are creating a best year, Pat. Okay, let me delete everything. Let me go here. I have the path and I'll just slightly adjust the point. Maybe this upper point a bit Lower those a tiny bit to the left, This one to the right. This could be also direct down below. So this shape we got a little bit more custom feeling now. You would just have to de select it. Select all format, and you would be ready with this nice restriction. Off course. The flow is again too quick. I need to change it a little bit, but in the end, later will finally go towards something like that. Boom. That's a sneak peak preview. So go ahead, go to the next lesson and soon you'll have an animation like that. 5. Slow Down: Hey, in this lesson, well, well, maybe change the color later. But in this lesson, I want to show you how to use the cool reveal er, how to slow everything down and how to be able to even slow it down further. We can change those objects. We can make the time remapping longer and you will have a slower animations. Now I want to work with the echoes. I had the echoes and I'm coloring you, and I think we should have a bit more off them. So I'm getting again closer to negative 1 60 for example. And when I come to Echo, I have an animation like that. I think it already looks beautiful. And if that's too quick for you, you can always time remembered. I'm coloring you, right Click time, enable timely mapping. And you can see we have zero seconds. And here, instead of having four seconds, I'll press a key frame and we should have, for example, two seconds. This will make the animation slower at the east. Until this part, I should delete the last part and we should be good to go. I'll make it closer to here. Okay? Really, nice animation. Now, once we will have the animation ready, we can simply trim it down here and try to loop it. But until this point, we are close to being done. Let us add the final touch and at a few circles, and it will look even more mesmerizing in case you in the finalized it here, select boat control shift. See again, the last touch. And you will know that this last touch should have some glow surrounded al fresco. L double click on glow and I simply make the glow radius stronger threshold. Do we need so much threshold? No, we don't. The intensity. Yeah, perhaps. And we can work with that low colors. Remember that you can always duplicate the glow. You can try to select different values for it like that. Remember that we had the last touch opened, and in the last touch we have I'm coloring you. Well, I think those colors are not intensive enough. We just have, like, an orange and yeah, an expressive blue or a red. Oh, that seems stronger. Now when we will go to the last glowy echo, it gets more interesting. Well, I really messed up the second globe. But you can see I have really much options here. I can really work with the glow, and I can have some intensive fun here. If you have a glow like that, you are basically ready. Now let's make a beautiful background for it and we have it completed. 6. Make it glow: all right. In the final step, I will show you how toe loop this animation, how to make a background, how to make the entire glow super interesting. And we can finally be happy about our animation, our intensive powerful low which is shooting out from the middle. All right, so we have this object, We have the word, we have it in the echo. We have the intensive low. We basically have only to blow effects. And if you want to go totally crazy, you can even make three. You can lower upper the amount. It's really up to you. How do you want it to look? Maybe let us not overdo it. And Low is really powerful. It renders a bit longer, but it's really pleasant to watch what I would do here. New, solid. Well, any color, really any color. And I'll make this my background. This one is totally ugly. So I will select ramp. I would double click on it. I would make a dark. I would make it intensive. And if you want to go out from the middle, this press radial lamp, bro, select the first color to be here. Select the second color to be here. All right. And now you can work with the colors. I could maybe make it the other way around like black on the outside. Read on the insight. Well, this readiness to intensive you can see that only graphical work I'm doing here. You can really do it as you please. And this will be my finalized result. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. So this low is pretty intense. I could find the moment when I have decided that everything is perfectly prepared when I mean perfectly peppered. I mean, the time I'm having the time here. Maybe it was a bit too fast. Okay, a bit slower, even slower. So since we enable timely mapping, we have the time slower. This is a bit sloppy because we could make the time remapping eventually here. But it doesn't matter. I have it like that. And that's okay. So I want to be Lubell. How do I love it? This would be simple. I would be here. You can see it starts to appear. So I start the animation with an empty frame. I wait until the next circle and I end the animation with an empty frame as well. Now end to trim it down. And I have a nearly perfect loop. This is how the end animation would look like. And we would only have to render a few seconds and we could make a gift out of it. And it's really, really intensive. It's strong. It it has a fun feeling into it. And I do really like this motion. This is how you can go about and work with creating interesting mass memorizing background motion elements or close. I hope this workload did teach you a lot. And you enjoyed this entire lesson. See you in the next one.
