ASSIGNMENT

You'll capture 3-5 photos or videos that represent your personal brand and share on your favorite social media platform. The object here is to find what interests you about the world and narrow it into a distinct niche for you, giving your photographic eye a sandbox to get creative in. This assignment will help you refine your work and grow a following over time, while improving the quality of your smartphone photography and video all at once.

Along the way, pretend that your smart phone is your ONLY usable camera . . . and see how far you can stretch it's high-functioning features to make your best images. Once you master the features on your smartphone camera, you won't even notice the difference from DSLR!

DELIVERABLE

Upload 3-5 photos or videos that represent your personal brand on social media. A completed project includes:

  • 3-5 photos or videos
  • A short description of what you want to convey about your personal brand
  • A list of the shooting techniques from this class that you used to create your work
