About This Class

Filters in inkscape provide an excellent way of taking your vector art to the next level. Although creating your own filters may seem complicated at first, it's actually quite simple after a bit of instruction and practice.

This course covers a comprehensive look at the filter editor in Inkscape. By the end of this course you will have a good understanding of the filter editor, including all of the filter primitives used in Inkscape.

In this course I assume that you already have a basic understanding of Inkscape. If you are completely new to Inkscape I would recommend you have a look at my other course first: Getting Started in Inkscape.

In addition to learning about topics theoretically, I provide lots of exercises and solutions to give you the hands on experience needed to fully grasp the topics learned.
