About This Class

Java is one of the most important of all computer programming languages. But learning Java can seem like a daunting task. Not any longer! By following this series of classes you will learn Java step-by-step, from the basics right through to advanced topics. This course is, quite simply, the fastest, easiest way to learn Java programming.

But before you do any coding, you need to get yourself all ready to go with the free software, the course eBook and all the sample projects. That is what we’ll do in this introductory class. The video lessons explain what Java is all about and what software you need to install in order to follow the other classes that comprise Java: The Master Course.

Be sure to download: The Source Code Archive and the course eBook, The Little Book Of Java, from the Course Project tab. These will be used in this and all subsequent classes in this course.
