1. Introduction to Filmora 9 class: Hello, welcome to fellow and I, video editing goes. In this course, I'm gonna teach you how you can edit your videos. For YouTube is Sarah and tick talk using Semmelweis. This course is for complete beginners. So if you haven't done video editing before, then there would be no problem. We will be starting from very beginning, like how to download thermohaline on your computer or laptop. But if you have experiences with video editing, then I am scores into three parts. That is beginner's level, intermediate level, and advanced level. So you can start accordingly. There may be many courses on Samovar and those are good as well. So in this course, you can expect three pings. First, a self-learning, I will be explaining each and everything in a really detailed and simple way so that you understand. Second, instructors support. That is, I will be very happy to answer all your questions and doubts. No matter how many you have, often, you have to just send me a message. And third, new lessons every month. I believe that there is no end of learning. And that's why I will be updating the course with new lessons every month so that you can keep learning and sharpen your reader editing skills. At the end of this course, we will also talk about how you can incentivize your video editing skills and make money using that. If you are still not convinced, then you can always refund the cost using your dummies 30 days money-back guarantee, but I can assure you that wouldn't be needed. So that's all. I will be very glad to see you in the hose. So and rolling out by. 2. 1 How to download and install Filmora9 on your computer: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how you can now mood Thermotoga nine on your computer. So let's get started. First, go on this website, thermo law under osha.com. And then you will see a page like this. Here we have many options, but you can see here, download, click on that. And here below film over nine, you can see two options for mobile nine for Windows moving forward now. So depending on what you are using right now, you can go on these options. But if you are using a Mac, you can download them over nine, also from the apps to itself. Let's continue with thermal and info windows. Here. I download will be started automatically. There is no need to store longer. I'm using ideas. So that's why it's given me option. But unless you are using the download center, the starting directly after the setup has been downloaded. Go on, do the sector. For example, I have set up here and install that. Makes sure like installing the setup. Your computer is connected to the internet. As we can see now that our software has been installed, we can also feed default shortcut that S made here of homodyne. See you in the next lesson. 3. 2 Understanding the interface of filmora 9: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn about the interface of a movie night. So let's get started. First. First, when you open Thermotoga nine, then this little window pops up. If you don't want that, then you can uncheck this option. Here. Below. Project library. We, we can see all the recent projects on that we have. Well, if they have a hundreds of projects, then you can also search the project by its name here in the search bar. On the left side here, we have two options, New Project and open project. That open project, we can open an existing project on that we have worked. And our new project, we can create a new project. That's redact translates to itself. I do not need Explain that. Do I? So on upto here we have aspect ratio. So there are few aspect ratios, like 16 is 291, S21, 19 is 2164 years, 2321 is to nine, but most widely used, of course, 16 is 29. What you see on YouTube or GMI. 19 is to 16 can also be used in Instagram stories and Snapchat stories. And if you are using tech talk on that, 24 is 2921 is to nine, pretty less popular. And when S21 is also not that much use, most of the time you'll be using 16 is 29 on 19th, 216. So for now we are to think 16 to nine and continuing with the new project. So here we have a whole lot of options. And some of you don't be overwhelmed by that. But due to heavy till the end of this lesson, you will know everything. So first here, we can see here the most victim, there is the bottom half part of the software, and that is called the timeline. Here we are going to be do all our editing, working on multiple layers and all the stuffs. This timeline has layers which we call video layers or audio layers. So for example, this is our first video layer, and this is our first audio layer. We can add as many lives as we want. For doing that. You can go here on this option, managed tracks and click on this. And Click to add a video track or add an audio track. On when the drag a video. Here on the timeline of an audio, the tracks are automatically added so you don't have to manually add a track. Some of my QV thinking, oh, then what about pictures? So pitchers are processed in the video track itself. And now here, this black portion as a preview window. Here you can see on what you are editing a video, audio, and you can preview it. It's like your video player. But you are editing there. Here we have play Stop buttons. And here this section is where we are going to import our media files like videos, audios, and pictures. Here we have some more options like this one. This is render preview. After you have edited your video and before exporting it, you make a render preview so that you can view your whole video, whether it's smoother playback, and check whether everything is in order or not. Here we have markers. We can add markers on the layer to make the process of editing easier for us. And this is zoom out, and this is zoom in. For example, we can here would say we have this red bar here. So we can zoom in and we can zoom out on the timeline. And this button is zoom to fit. For example, we have anything here that does not fit on the timeline. So we can press this button and it will eventually fit on the timeline. Here, this option is called playback quality. For example, while editing, you can experience some lagging. So you can decrease the playback quality. And then you can preview your review that you are editing. It does not have any effect on the final output. And your final output would be exported in it's original quality. It's just for previewing here in the fair mola. Here. This is a snapshot which we'll use for editing that we'll see later in the upcoming lessons. So this snapshot takes the screenshot of anything that we will be seeing here in the preview window. And here we have, of course, volume. And this makes the preview window for your screen, like a video player, works off it. And here we have some options as though like media, audio and audio, we can see many different audios that Semmelweis provides us for free. And you can use them in your videos without getting any copyright strikes of legal notices. Here. Go on my music and you can import your audio to. Here. We have titles and entitles. We have many things like openers, lower third, subtitles, and credit and some new concepts. So we will be using tiles for adding subtitles or creating an intro of the video, or lower thirds than they used to introduce a new police on new directives in the video. So let's preview a lower third. Just double-click on it. And you can see that here in the preview window. Like this. Now, here we have transition. When we have two clips and w, Then we can have second clip just after the first one direct. Or there could be some smooth effect that we can put between the two clips. So the transition looks smoother. So that is called transition like here, we have this very commonly used food transition like this, or dissolved transition. If you want to make your video look more funky, you can use some transitions here in the linear, like this one or this one. Here you can explore many transitions and decide for yourself, which when you wanna use. Let's come to effects. Now. Here we have many effects like theaters. You can think of them as in sagwa hurdles. But therefore, we use and here we have also overlays. Over maize is also fed him, but they are rather providing a frame to a video like this one. Now, let's come to utility. Here we have some different options like image mask, border, and co-op that we're gonna be using in the upcoming lessons. And at last we have, let's, let's can be used to give a specific style to the value by making the changes in the colors. For example, here we have heavy pot. So we can make our video look like Harry Potter or dark film on a Batman fan, then you can go for Beckman. So these you're going to be using in some of our lessons. Now. We have some elements that you can use, like emojis and some gradient characters or smileys. If you are making a tutorial video, then you can use these. And here, these are categorized under different basis, like emojis, hands-on badges like that. And at the end we have split screen. So we can show to a three or as many as we want in a single screen at the same time. So for that, we use screens. And here we have by now as femora isn't free. And when you use it for free, then you have a watermark on your videos so you can buy the full version to remove the watermark. That's all for this video. Now, you have understood all the options here in the formula and see you in the next lesson. Keep learning by. 4. 3 How to import and arrange files in Filmora 9: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to be learning how you can invoke your media files, like videos, audio, and pictures in thermotoga. So let's get started. So first, when you open supernovae, then you can see this big icon here in the project media. So click on that. To import media files. For example, I have selected this video here and click on open. Now I have this video here. But that's not the only way. You can also drag and drop files directory in this section to import them. For example, I want to import this image, so I have selected it and drag and drop here in that section. And now I have it there. When you have a specific folder in which you have all your media files related to one specific project, then you can also drag and drop that complete folder to import it media files so you can save time. So for example, I have this folder resources. I'm going to just drag and drop it to import. It's all media files. But make sure in that folder there are only pictures, images, and videos and audios like this. At the moment, we are coming to me for the thumbnail of each media file. And it's very difficult to distinguish between audios, videos, and images. So we can go here on nine will occur dots and click on that, and then click on view and change the view to the list. So now we have audio files and then drag it onto the right side. Here we can see below type what is audio, video, or photos. And here we can also see the frame rate of the media files and duration and resolution also. So sometimes while editing the need these type of information like resolution and frame weeds. So then we can use this option. And that's pretty helpful. We can also solid media files on different basis like derivation or the date on Dava created. And we can also grow them on different categories. So that's it. For this video. I hope. Now you can import your media files in cell Mura and arranged them. So keep learning and see you in the next lesson. Bye. 5. 4 How to trim in Filmora 9: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how can we do the trimming in thermotoga. So without wasting any time, let's get salad. First. I'm going to import the video that I want to trim. So I have that video here on deck. Stop semana simply dragging drop it. Now I have it here. So let's preview it to do that, double-click on it. That video. So let's drag this video onto the timeline. So here it asks that the project settings that is by default set does not match to media settings. Do we want to change project settings according to media? So I'm going to check. Yes. But that doesn't mean that we do it all leaves and we're gonna see when not to do it. But for now, let's continue. This is a music video by covered. And I want to and I want to turn this video. Essentially. This is your last announcement for everyone. But now it's time to go out in the real world and I just want to wish you all good. So Lexi, I want to delete the professors seen from this video. So for doing that, first, I'm gonna divide this layer into a splits on multiple sections and then weekend delete any of those aspects. We can mute them or we can increase the speed of a particle is played. Many things we can do. So let see how to create a split of sections in the video. So so director's scene starts from here. From here. After this, the directive scene would come. So collects maker here. So you can click on this button or you can click on this button, or you can simply press control would be in windows and command be unmatched to create us. So as I have created the spirit now, we have here two sections. First section is this one which you can see, and second section is this one. Now, let's make one more split where the scene of the director and so. Here the scene of the director ends. So let's make one more spit here, using this as a. So now we have to split and redo and that test divided out video in total of three bytes. First, this part, second, third, this complete part. Now we can mute directive if we want. We can increase the playback of directives theme, or we can cut that Objective-C. So we say we want to new director. So how are we going to do it? Just in the middle section and make a right-click on it. And here we have mu. So click on this. So now we can see this turned to grey, which played a video. Once again. This is your west. Now, as you have seen, we cannot hear directive speaking. Let's say we want to delete the seed. So let's separate the scene and plaster Delete button. Or you can go on this option and delete the scene as well. Now, we have the director's seen deleted from video. This is your last announcement. Like this. But one thing I want to tell you that here is one thing called Auto ripple effect in the film over when we deleted this directive seen ultimately effect was on. But what would have happened if it went off? So let's see, let's first undo. What we just did. That is we do a directory. So let's undo it. You can do it by clicking on this option and do all. You can just simply press command said on a Mac and control zed on the windows. So now we have directive scene back. So let's off this automatic effect. And now the director of c. So as we can see, now, the space between the two clips is left. And we have to drag this other clip to the first one to attach them. So how can we do that? Just simply select the clip and grab it and drag it to the first clip. Now, we have it had latched, but this can be pretty time-consuming if you're deleting a lot of stuff. So in that way, auto ripple effect can be pretty helpful. So make sure that when you delete a particular split and join the other two, the first one, so the effect is on, so you don't have to do that manually and it saves time. So that's how we do the trimming in the film Nova. 6. 5 How to render a video in Filmora 9: Hello, welcome back to the femoral Legos. Do you remember in the last lesson, we did edit a music video by Khalid and deleted the professors scene out of it. But how can we share that video with friends, or how can we upload it on platforms like YouTube or Instagram? So for that, we need to export our video. First. Let see how to render video in this lesson, let's get side. First. After that, you have all done you're editing. Go on this button which says export, click on it. Now, here are two options. First, either we can buy full version, offer mola, or we can export our ego where watermark. So you're going to do that. Click on this option, Export with more watermark. It also might be possible that first film of assays to login with your film Ola Id. And if you haven't, you're fema ID, then there is option with which you can create your firmware ID. And after you have done that, then you can export with what EMOC. And if you can see at port with watermark, then just go on and click it. So let's continue. Now, I am going to click on Export with watermark. And now I have here a few options, like device, you deal Vimeo and DVD. So I don't think many of you would be rendering your video to another device or do I DVD. But say you want to do that. So you can just directly quick on here. And you can also export your video directly to YouTube or Vimeo. But for doing that, you have to first sign in here and then just give their title and click on export. You can also hear change the quality of the video by going into settings. And also you can make media public apply weight by using this option viewable by like here we have. But for this project and considering that you want a video in your computer. So let's come to local. And you can give the name of your video. And you can choose the location here where you want your video to be saved by going on this option here. And you can choose a visual illusion. But it's the default of resolution for this video. So I am leaving it to dad. And here we have frame rates, which you can see the windows of 20-fold frame rates per second, and the estimated sizes, nine Emmys, and that division is 49 seconds. Here we can also select the format in which we want or we do. There are many options like AVI, MOV, and MP3, but I will suggest you to export your video and amp B52 because it's supported by almost amy device and Amy online platform. And then just click on export. But make sure that this enable GPU accelerated data video encoding is Chegg. If you want your video to be rendered, right? Really fast, but don't do that to all the project when time isn't an issue because it can affect your computer's performance in the long run. So I'm going to uncheck it for now and let's export it. We have also hear some options like sound reminder, when w is exported or shut down computer or do nothing. This video vendor got like really fast because there's nothing much that we did to the video. Just return the video. Otherwise, it would have taken long. Export the video. You can export your videos from thermal. Keep learning and see you in the next lesson. Bye. 7. 6 How to use Filmora instant cutter tool: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to be looking how we can import from in stand CARTO tool and why to use that in the first place. So let's say you want to just trim out the end of a video and that video doesn't need much of editing. So you can do that using in Stanford Urdu, and that's gonna save you a lot of time. So let's see how to do that. So go on this option here, Import. And here we have important in sand. Gotta do, click on that. Now here we can see two options to him or mulch. To him is for trimming the videos. And merge is for joining two different videos and making it to one. So let's first do the swimming. So go here on open file and select the file that you want to trim. So let's say I want to turn this file. Click on Open. And now let's say I want only just part of a video from this video. So I can directly exported all Lexi I want from this video to different clips. So first, I have selected the first clip and added it to segment. And now I can select the second segment or second clip. So let's do that. And let say, this is my second clip. Here. We have two different clips. One S1, one minute, 23 seconds to one minute, 51 seconds that we want from the Mainly due and taking this from three minutes, 14 seconds to three minutes, 38 seconds that we want from them in video, we can include as many clips as we want just by using this feature acting. Okay, but for now, let's keep it to two. That's all. And just click on export. Click on ok. So as you saw, that's how fast it can be when you are using Silva in sand Gatto. Who, lets have a look now to how to merge two videos using instantiated rule. Let's go to much. Before merging two videos using instantiated or do you have to take care of few things like the videos that you are merging should be recorded from form. And the three weeks and the resolution of both the videos should be the same. If the videos are of high quality and recorded from Canva, then you have to find another way that we'll become moving in the upcoming lessons. So for now, let's much to reduce data recorded from phone. So go on Open File. And seventh, which you want to come first. For example, I have on this media to come first so I could get on open and then 7, second video. So I want this video. So now we can see this first video is of 17 seconds, and the second video is off 12 seconds. The total duration of the video will be the final media would be 29 seconds. So let's export the output. This is a video that we merge from. In sand cutoff tool. We can use these type of poetry if we deals and Instagram stories on Instagram reuse as well. If you use tech talk, you can upload them as well. There also. So that's how we use film overs in Stanford hurdle. I hope you enjoyed this lesson and we'll be covering in the upcoming lesson how we can manage videos of different resolutions and framed weights and the videos that above high quadric cubic ordered from camber in the upcoming lesson. See you in the next lesson. Bye. Keep learning. 8. 7 How to merge two videos of different resolution and frame rates: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to see how we can merge two videos that have different resolutions and frame rate. So let's get started. First. You can drag the videos that you want too much and then change the view to the list. Along these retail nine dots. Now drawn onto the right side. So here we can see frame rate and resolutions as the first video is off 25 megabits per second. And the second is of 29.97. Work should be the three week of the final output. That's the ocean. So for that, we need to understand what actually frame rate is. So 25 frames per second means 254 tools will be appearing in 1 second. So if the three bit of the final output would be lactate, tidy, and the frame rate of original leader is only 25, then the outward appear to be a bit laggy. But if the output is off 25 FPS and original video is of 30 FPS. So then it would be no problem because the source file has higher FPS than the converted all exported file. Or if the FPS of the output is equal to the FPS source file, then it's also okay. So in our project settings, the FBI should be the lower of the two. That is 25. If you haven't understood anything that I've just said, just remember that the local FPS of the two windows that you are merging would be the FBS of the final output. And that we're going to set in the project settings. And same goes for resolution. The above video is off 4K resolution, and the second reader is awful HD. So center resolution to full HD resolution should be also the lower one. So let's set our project settings for doing that. Go to here file and go to then project settings. And here the solution we have already full HD. Let's change the frame rate and that's also 25 per seconds. So that's an order because the favorite is also the lower 125 appears and the resolution and also O1 full HD. So let's click on OK. Now, we can march up videos using transitions. So let's do that. So I want this video to come first. So I have it here. So make sure when you're merging two videos of different settings, then you have to keep the project settings and don't make it to match to media. And then I'll draw. And then I will drag second video. So here, how it looks, the transition now, but we want to add here some effects. So go to transition. And let's say I want a fade transition here between these two clips. So drag that transition here in the middle. Now let's have a look. So now the transition would be like this. We can also increase or decrease the derivation of the transition. Just grab it on the end and increase it or decrease it. Like this. We can also set, we can also give transition a particular duration for doing that. Go subvector transition. Go on. Show properties. And here you can set a transition to two seconds, three seconds, whatever you want to answer, adding it to 1 second. Here we have also some transition mode that is overlap, that the half of the transition would come with the first clip and the half would come with the second clip prefix. If we do here to prefix, then the whole translation would come only on the first grip. So let's have a look with prefix like this. And if we do the postfix, the whole transition would come on the second clip, like this. So all lapis better, according to me, but it's your choice, what you can do, whatever you want. And it also depends on the video. I have used, the very novel transition fate, but you can experiment with different translations. And it really depends on the video which transition to use in which we do. So try experimenting and have fun doing that. And that toe, you will learn the most of the video editing, and that's really fun. Now, you can match two videos of different resolutions and three weeks of different settings using transitions. Congratulations. See you in the next lesson. Bye. 9. 8 How to do colour correction in your videos: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how we can color correct, are reduced in Samovar nine. So let's get started. So let say, I want to commemorate this video of mine. So I have dragged it here in the formula. So let's have a look at it. How does it look? So as you can see, this video is kind of recorded under bad lighting and gray and Columbus. So for color correcting it, click on the layer. And something like this would open. So here we have four different options, medial audio, color, and motion. So come here on this option, color. And here we have some different options like color, enhance, cement, white balance, and 3D. We'll be covering each one of them one by one. So first come to column enhancement. Usually I don't recommend covered enhancement. But here you can use it. Just you have to press or to. T-mobile would automatically enhance the color of your videos. And as you can see, I did it and now the video looks more bad than before. So that's why I do not recommend it. And you can easily skip this. So let's uncheck it. And now come to white balance. So here we have two options, temperature, and that temperature allows you to show you a video that whether it was recorded during summers under higher temperature or during monsoons on. If you want to give the feeling of vendors and cold, then you can lower the temperature. So it depends what you want to show. For example, lowering their temperature and making the video kind of code also reflect a bit of professionalism. While increasing the temperature, increases the likability of the VDO and gives a warm, happy feeling to the video. So currently I have set it to 0, but I want to make this video look more professional. So I'm gonna decrease the temperature a little bit. If we increase it, this would happen, something like this. But I'm gonna decrease it and I'm not gonna decrease it to watch. Maybe negative of five would be okay for this video. And now the second option is ten. So the second option decides to send between palpable and green. So you can add effect according to the needs of your video. But for this leader, I'm leaving it. Now, let's come to tone this fairly important one. And this option is going to decide how your VDO is, gonna look in terms of overall quality. So here we have three different options. Really, contrast, saturation and brightness. So let's come to contrast. The contours makes the portion of your video, which our dock more darker and the portion which is light, lighter. So if you're going to decrease too much contrast, then the video would look unsaturated and colorless. But if you increase the contrast too much, then the deal would appear to be very dark and nobody would be able to see it properly. So for this video, said the contrast to 30, like this. Now, this is perfect. Let's come to saturation. Now. Saturation is equivalent to intensity. That is, if we increase the saturation, we are making a particular cover more or more of it. For example, if I increase the saturation, this black would be more black and this yellow would be more yellow. And that's how saturation were. So as media was colorless and green, so that's mean that we should increase saturation in our radio. So let's increase it to, let's say 50 or fatigue. And now comes the brightness. And I guess this is self-explanatory. So I'm gonna increase it a wet Herbert to 15. Now, are reading books a whole lot better than before? So let's have a look. What did we achieve? This was video before and after we cover character it. This looks like this. The playback is not good as I have not made the rendered review. So here we have this option here, 3D lead. But what is actually alert? So when we see top Hollywood movies like heavy Porter or dark film on many popular movies than me for a specific time in the movie. So we can make our redo like those popular by using the floods that we have here. Like here we have BMW film, Batman or dark film. So let's first go to advance. And now he MP has all the prefix which include also 3D elect, like Star Wars, walking dead, heavy pot that you can use to make your video look like those films. But in this video, I'm not going to use any kind of lead, but you can if you want to. So alert basically works by changing the colors of your video into a particular manner so that your video would look like that movie. So that's it for this video. I hope you have learned how you can color correct your videos now. See you in the next lesson. Bye. 10. 9 How to add logo in your videos: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how we can add our local in our videos. So let's get started. So for example, I want to add a logo in this video here. So I have imported a logo. This logo I have made using Canva for free that you can do to the font that I have used here in the logo is the bus that you can use if you like the font. So I'm gonna drag and drop this logo about my radio. Like this. If there is no media track, then you can add a video track by going here on managed track. And now I'm gonna play the video. Pause it. Now we can double click on the logo. And let's decrease the size of it. This much would be okay, I guess. And I want to come here on this side like this. This looks good. Now SCANA magic happen. Double-click on that logo, and then go to compositing and then do the blending mode. Here it is, currently get to normal. So here we have different options. You can try what works best for you, but I'm going to subject it to like done like this. Now. You can see how it looks. Cool. What do we think? We can use bending modes to give different effects, like when I choose Color Dodge, then something's gonna happen like this. Now, more interesting now. So that's how you can add your local to your video. And one thing to make, show that. Try to use these different blending mode. Because then you'll see what looks best. For example, if I click here on darken, lexico multiply, then it is too much data and we cannot see it. But then the color of the videos are different and the color of the logo is different, then it can perform really well. This option multiplied to choose different vending mode and then decide what looks best. And at the last change we do like ten. And at the last, we're going to increase their duration to that of the medium. So first m1 omega to zoom and fate. And I'm gonna increase it, derivation that off. Now we have logo in. So I hope you enjoyed this lesson. Now, you can add your logo in your video. So see you in the next lesson. Bye. 11. 10 How to remove background noise from your videos: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how we can remove background noise from a video. So let's get started. I have a video here and it has a lot of background noise. So let's hear how it sounds. So this is a sample. How actually sometimes background noise is. It's too disturbing and it distracts us from what the speaker is saying. So how do we move that? Double-click on the video layer? And then go on. Our new. Here, we have effects like fade in, fade out that you can use Maybe when you want. And here, the last option is de-noise. Quick on that. And here you see the option. How bad the background noise? Is it weak or strong? I suggest you to keep that bar somewhere between week and men. Because if you do it too strong, then some sentences or words might be also removed. That speaker RC and the video would lose its meaning. So I'm selecting it to mend and clicking on OK. Let's now hear the recording again. It is much perfect. Don't you think that? So that's how you remove background noise formula video. I hope you liked this lesson. See you in the next lesson. Bye. 12. 11 How to add background music to your videos: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how we can add music in videos. But before doing that, I want you to see, to collect words and language matter what anybody tells you. Words and ideas can change the world. I, The 19th century literature has nothing to do with going to business school, medical school. I made it up and you may agree or them second-guess, we should simply study our Mr. Pritchard and learn our rhyme and meter and go quietly about the business of achieving other ambitions. Singing for you the left. Iraq. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race and the human race filled with passion. Medicine, law, business, engineering. These are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, no man's love, peace, and what we stay alive for. Hopefully Whitman. Oh, life of the questions of these recurring, of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities filled with the foolish but good and made these on the life. And you are here, that life exists and identity. That the powerful play goes on and you make it took universe. Powerful play goes on. And they contribute a verse. The first being I Now, the second click. Words and language, no matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world. I see that look in Mr. Pitts eye, like 19th century literature has nothing to do with going to business school and medical school, right? Maybe. Hopkins, you may agree with him thinking, yes, we should simply study our Mr. Pritchard and learn our rhyme and meter and go quietly about the business of achieving other ambitions. A little secret for you, huddle up and love. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering. These are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love. These are what we stay alive for. The quote from Whitman. Oh me, oh life of the questions of these recurring, of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities filled with the foolish but good amid these only life. Answer. That you are here. That life exists and identity. That the powerful play goes on. And you may contribute a verse. That's the powerful play goes on. And you may contribute a verse. What will your averse B. So which clip, video like MOOC, the first one. The second one. The answer's going to be the first one. So a music can have that much impact upon audience. It can make your audience feel what you want. So it is very important to add the light music with right strategies using fades in and fades out and keeping the volume of the music Vensim one peaks, something important and increasing the voice of the speakers. All of these things make a VDO outstanding. So let see how to do that. First, I have this collect here. I have grabbed it here under timeline. And now I'm going to audio. Here. I have a music light undergoes. So I'm gonna add it here and play it and see how it sounds. So the volume of the music is still much higher. So I'm gonna reduce it. So here we have this line in between. So I'm gonna grab it and to 19 and let see anybody. So we still cannot. He had the Speaker properly. So I'm gonna increase the sound of the mean we do. So I'm gonna grab GTAC strep and increase it to, let's say, six decibels. I would not suggest to you to increase the sound volume to the maximum. That is a blue color decibel, because it might be possible that the sound can distort. So I'm just gonna increase it to six decibels whatsoever. We do now. No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas. Better now, but I don't want the listener to be bombarded suddenly. So I'm going to use the fade in effect. For using that. We can separate this here and increase the duration of 2r derivation until which we want fade in effect. So Rx it three seconds is OK. Now the sound increased gradually. So have a look at it. And language matter, what anybody tells you. Words and ideas can change the world. So now it's perfect. Let's see the end where V12 enters fast music, as I do not want this first music to all around the video because there were also some senior scenes in the video that I want to without music. So like this one, I want music to end here. So I made a threat and trimmed off this part like this. So that sounds vague, Abdullah up. So I'm gonna give a fade out effect like this. Let's hear it now. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. Now I'm going to add the second music. And for that, I'm going to tender and sentimental. And I have this music mean by shock region. So I'm going to select it. And let's see, we want to start the music. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. Medicine, law, business, engineering. These are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. So I want to add the music from three. So I'm gonna just do that. And at the end to end them music. So let's do that. Here. I want to end the music. So I trimmed off the last part. And now let's decrease the volume of the music. Now, we are going to add the last scene that you saw for that, go to titles and go here on titles. And just I have selected this one. And I'm gonna make it to the end. And just read and write my text. Now, I'm gonna decrease the size. Now it's perfect. So that's how we created that video which you saw. One thing we forgot, and that is to give the fade in and fade out effect here. So let's do that. Good Swiss and necessary to sustain life. Poetry. G. So what we stay alive for Whitman? Life of the questions of these recurring enlist. Now, let's add a fade out here also at the end. Like this. Perfect. So now you can add wonderful new things in your videos too and make your audience feel what you want. So that's all for this video. See you in the next lesson. Bye. 13. 12 How to add subtitles, openers, end credits and lower thirds in your videos: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to learn how we can add subtitles, lower thirds, and credit to our video. So without further ado, let's get started. Drag them. We do in the project media that you want to add it. And then go on titles here. Here we have all the titles categorized on different basis, like openness titles, lower thirds, subtitles. And here we have a new concept as well, where we have some special kinds of titles, lower thirds and open up. First, we want to add an opener to our VDO for that, go here on opener. And here we have different openness. You can choose what you like, but make sure what kind of adding to what kind of video. For example, he and we have this opener. This opened up can be used to give a funky look toward VDU. Or maybe here this can be used in a make-up to tell me I have a travel lead you here. So I'm gonna use something like this. Maybe this is simple, settle and looks cool. So I'm going to drag it on the timeline. The opener is a vector bit long. So I'm gonna trim off and section a literate. So I have selected it and reduce its duration like this. Let's edit the text in the opener. So for doing that, double-click on the opener. And now we will have this window opened here where we have preset and animation. So first, select the element that you want to add it. So for example, I want to edit this text here first. And I want to Ikea maybe travel log. Now we have it here, but I want to change the position. So just surrender Element and go on the border. And now we can grab it and change the magician like this. We can also change the position of the other elements. We want this to be a little bit longer. So let's. Increase the size of it. Now it looks then therefore. And now we're going to change this text here. So I have written this here, travelogue, tardy, And now here I went to a party. This looks cool, doesn't it? We have here other options as well, like textiles. They can simply choose their texts and then assign it a different textiles. Like we want. We here we have also like fonts. Here. We have many different fonts that you can use and adjust the size as well. And we can also make the text bold or italic. And here we have alignment also that we can use. We have some other options like desk, cover, our space. Like just have a look at it. If I increase the tech space, then this would happen. On the five decrease. Then this will happen. But I'm gonna leave it. And here we have also lines like this, element, like this or like this. Here we have also an emission. We can select a text and we can assign it a specific mission that we want. Like here we have a typewriter and deviation of babies, Taiwanese. Here we have strong. But I'm not going to use it because I want to keep it simple. So I'm gonna choose no any nation and then click on ok. So now as I have already, let's attach it to our medium. Dread my media here, and attach it to open up. So that's how it looks. Now, let's come to lower thirds. What are lower thirds? So let's have a look. Here. We have lower thirds. So here we have different kinds of lower thirds. Like this that we can use. Lowered Hertz can be pretty helpful for introducing a new place or introducing new characters in the film. Or sometimes, we can also see in documentaries. That here, the status or the use of lower tone like this. So here we have some shirts in the new concept as Lou here. So I'm gonna use this to introduce the audience, to displace. So let's have a look at this. So I'm gonna simply drag it and attach it like this. Nice. So for aggregating the lower turn, just double-click on the element that you want to add it. Here we have an initial right now go on. And we can give here. Now, it's perfect. Let's click OK. Let's have a look at it. It's whatever it longer. So I want to make a charter. So let's trim off the end. Now. It's perfect. Now, here we have subtitles as well that you can use to add subtitles in your video. Here we have different styles. You can choose whatever you like. I want to give a tip for adding subtitles in a more efficient way. And that is to use markers. For example, here we have this red bar. I'm gonna click on OK. Now we have one marker added here. And Lexi here, our first sentence style, and the first sentence end here. So I'm gonna add and add Amaka here. So now that I know a sentence starts from here to here. I can simply here add the subtitle, Leah, end it here onto the second marker. And simply, I can edit the text and divide that text, which comes here between the two markers. This makes the whole process of adding subtitles to the video. Wait much easier. So this is a clever meter. I do not have anyone speaking here, so I'm not going to add the subtitle here, but I have just shown you how you can do that in your videos. So let's delete it. Now. We are coming to query. And query. It is very helpful for giving special Pam to someone. Or if it's a music video, you can display the name of hill and which they performed. So for adding end credits, simply go on here and query it. And choose the style that you like. Like this one or this one. This one. And simply add it to the end and advocate like this. And you are done. So that's all for this video. Now, you can add subtitles, lower thirds, and end credits to your video as well. So congratulations. See you in the next lesson. 14. 13 How to create an intro: Hello. In this lesson, we are going to see how we can make like this. So let's get started. First, I have this video that I'm going to use for this project. And then I'm gonna go on sample covers and choose maybe black. And I'm gonna drag this here. After that. I'm gonna go on titles and seven, this default title. And then I'm gonna choose the form. So here we have new and clicked on. Now you can write whatever you want and increase the size. Maximum, like this. Okay? And now I'm going to take a screenshot of that. Delete everything on their timeline. Now. We are going to drag this on their timeline. And now collect now cementum layer and make a right click on it and go to come up. And we have this option, Bannon who go on that. So the start, we don't want to change that. But the end, we want to change. So quick on the end. And then click on the ocean and reduce it as much as you can. Make up. Click on OK. Then we'll see something like this. Now, we are going to take a screenshot. So press this button here and we're going to repeat the same thing. But before doing that, I want to reduce the duration of this layer. Looks videos too. 1 second, 1 second, 6 weeks. Now, it will be faster. Which c? Like this? Yeah, buffet. Now drag the second screenshot under tangling. Yeah, buffet. Now decrease the derivation of this too. So let's say I want to have it till 1 second 11th drinks like this. Now, go and the second snapshot and we beat the process. Go on. And make sure that you select only light region. Like this. Let see how it looks. Now. Drag your video on the first layer that is below this screenshot. Like this. Now, solving the phosphate, double-click on it and go here on compositing. Change the Blending Mode to dock and do the same with the second snapshot. Like this. And now we have achieved what we wanted. That's how you create a text zooming into. I hope you liked this lesson. And see you in the next lesson. Bye. 15. 14 How to place your video inside text: Hello. In this video, we are going to see how you can make your video inside there, something like this. So let's get started and see how to do that. First, choose the video that you want to edit and ragged on the timeline like this. And then choose any title. As it doesn't matter because we're gonna make changes to it. And make the division of the title, do that off. And then double-click on title. And they meet whatever submit written. And then go on advanced. Now. And a sheep by going here on actually and drag a rectangle like this. If the color of your ship is not. Go here on the left side is down. And you see here shape. Choose the color to black. And then delete whatever is written here in the shape. By selecting it and pressing the Delete button and then extend the shape all over to the video like this. Then add text and choose a font, which is take. So I'm gonna go on font. You can choose neighbors knew or impact something like that. And now we are going to increase the size of the text. Read say 350. Then write what you want. If you want to add an emission lonelier on any mission. And look what's best for you. They need style, type by random. I'm gonna go with zooming. And after selecting that any mission or no animation, click on okay, like that. Now serving the layer. And go on video. Here we have compositing and then blending mode. So go hungry and in mode. And now we have our, we do ready. You can save this effect as a custom effect, so you can save your time. Time linearly using this effect. Could do that. Double-click on that, and click on here, save as custom and type whatever you want. I'm gonna just take effect like this. And now we have it here in their titles, custom. So that's all for this video. See you in the next video. Bye.
