About This Class

In this class you will learn expressive still life painting techniques using acrylics and charcoal. The idea behind the class is to teach you how to blend conventional and unconventional painting methods to ultimately create loose simple still life artwork.

You don't always need elaborate compositions if you understand how to make your style the main focus. By mastering basics such as layers, brushwork and expressive drawing you can begin to create some fun simple still life paintings.

Amazing course. Robert teaches you to connect with your subject by getting to know it through a series of initial sketches. Really helped me get out of a slump and start painting how I saw my composition - just shapes and lines and colors. Top notch guy with no ego, highly recommended!
Love his classes! I learn a lot every time.
