About This Class

In this class, I will walk you through the process of transforming linen fabric into decorative handmade papers. 

We will process the fabric into a fibrous pulp and use simple and affordable tools and ingredients to mold it into unique sheets of paper. 

In this class you will learn:

  • The basic processes behind paper making
  • What materials are best to use and where to buy them

What you need: 

  • Linen fabric
  • Scissors
  • A blender/food processor
  • Water
  • A large basin
  • 2 (or more) Towels
  • Bamboo place mats
  • A large tray
  • A place for your sheets of paper to lay or hang to dry
  • Prepared Pulp
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Blender
  • Agar Agar
  • Medium Pot
  • Stove/Electric Kettle
  • Ladle
  • 2 Wood Boards 
  • 4 Clamps
