Project Description

Make Your Own Wirework Necklace

Choose a few strands of beads. The design is up to you. We'd love to see your beads, so if you want to, you can upload a picture of your beads! This is optional, but we'd love to see them! It’s kind of like a “before” photo.

Your finished wirework necklace should be made of beaded components on wire connected with wrapped loops. Try to make your loops the same size. And try to only do two wraps per wrapped loop. You can use any clasp you like. There is a printable how-to with tools and materials listed in it attached to this assignment.

Photo tip: Place your wirework necklace on a piece of scrapbook paper or wood, and photograph it outside in the shade.

We would love to see your wirework necklace, so please upload a picture to share with the class!
