About This Class

Wouldn’t you love a necklace like this? So pretty and it goes with everything! And wouldn’t it be even more fun to make it yourself? We think so! And this necklace is easier than you think.

Even if you've never made jewelry before, you can make this. We'll show you how! It's basically one technique repeated over and over. Easy!

In this lesson, we'll show you all the tools and materials you'll need. This project uses chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and wire cutters. If you’ve never used them before, we’ll show you what they are and how to use them. These are the three basic tools for making jewelry, so you’ll use the skills you learn in this lesson for all kinds of jewelry making projects. You will also learn how to make wrapped loops to attach the beads to the chain and how to put a clasp on chain. Skills you'll use a lot in jewelry making!

Making jewelry like this is fun and easy! Once you get started, you’ll be hooked like we are! Before you know it, you’ll be making jewelry for friends and they will love finding out you made it yourself!
